I tried to activate a pal's line by sending make & model to both 927 and 667,but to my chagrin all i got was just glo settinz.I called their C.C and i was told that"ur no will be forwarded to the appropriate unit for activation".I asked about their gprs billing,and i was flabbergasted when i heard 70 kobo per kb.It's too exorbitant.Thank goodness 4 free glo browsing trick that some of us are enjoying.What about 3G plus?May be available end of this year.

Symptom still persist.I might be forced to use the back door o.Celtel,pls service or remove your billing server.Either way.

Dual core and dragnet you guys are really funny.Whenever i read you guys reply i always chuckle.Ways of easing the tensed atmosphere which am writing my exams.Keep it up duo.

i tried to enable mine but to no avail.what actually happen was that,when the manufactured the phone and they were testing it they forgot to enable the infrared and just released the phone into the market.that was my only challenge with my lg then,otherwise browsing with the phone using opera with celtel internet then was something else,and memory limit too (32 MB).i was just busy downloading polyphonic ringtones then.i almost wound myself trying to make it browse with my glo line.i was just delivered on time when glo customer care called me back,after i called them the previous day telling me that"am sorry mr sule,you can't use your lg to browse with a glo line"i retorted back,it is not true because celtel and mtn gprs are working perfectly,then who art thou o glo network not to browse with my lg.i took my sim put it into SE phone configured the phone manually and come see browsing and zapping of my money by glo.

@Dapsins69.The trick i have for glo browsing can't just download,but one can use it to browse like mad.Come to think of it,if Oktwins trick involves change of ip and proxy how come one can not use it to browse on his phone independently of laptop?

@chukz4real.I once make use of lg u8180 before,camera powerful no doubt,but the infrared was disable at the point of manufacture.You can only use usb with it.Am coming let me search for a secret code that would convinced you of your infrared being disabled.

For two days now especially around past 9pm i noticed that celtel access wap kept on displaying"error while connecting to billing server".In fact,yester night i was just browsing free with the access wap when suddenly that stuff pop on.From my own vantage point,if their billing server for gprs is misbehaving they may as well remove the gateway so that we will continue to enjoy free browsing like before.Who say that is not possible?

Guys,i tried downloading it using my opera but it wasn't going thru.I even try the "send wap push" still to no avail.Or must i use pc in doing it?

@Ituen.you mean sai you gave him 3k.that is cool business what do you think infobaba?one thing that i can assure you Ituen is that,any where there is glo network it means you can browse,unless if your glo line is not activated.i have travel to many states where no mtn/celtel gprs,but my glo gprs will just go ahead and browse.i don't think he will collect another money from you,because "equity leans against double portions" equity frowns at double portion.but the problem with your case iteun is that"he who comes to equity must come with clean hands""for he who committed iniquity shall not have equity"

guys,i just carried out a little experiment btw the glo and mtn trick.i discovered that the glo trick is far better.because using glogwap as my APN i could log in to N.land,and with the trick i can do a lot of things even uploading.@dual core.just go for the glo trick,you will enjoy it far better than mtn trick.going back to my books,see you when am through with my exams.
