Education › Re: Covenant University Would Produce A Nobel Laureate Before 2022 - Oyedepo by Horizont: 8:31am On Nov 06, 2018 |
HigherEd: One of the reasons Oyedepo is a role model to me is he has a way of identifying successful things and replicating it. His thought process can be summarised into this "if that man can do this to get that result then i can copy what he did and get his results" Case study: his replication of Yongi Cho's 1 million congregation operations. The resemblance between Covenant and ORU is extraordinary, from compulsory chapel attendance to corporate dressing, the entrepreneurial drive of stanford. Till today Covenant doesn't take transfer students - even from the USA and never awards honorary degrees(deliberately cultivating prestige).
He followed Harvard's principle of not venturing into programmes they were not prepared for. Reason, why CU(richest private school) has never never ventured into Law or Medicine. It is not fear but strategy-A strategy that works for Harvard till tomorrow. When he declared Vision 10:2022, i'm sure NUC must have thought Oyedepo has actually gone mad No the man went and printed the vision everywhere on campus and kept repeating it to NUC anytime they visited. He led the management team to keep looking at the vision. I felt sorry for him that day he declared the vision. My lecturer was alarmed and felt insulted by the declaration of that vision, but today he is busy jumping telling everyone that CU is doing well. Now i don't feel sorry for him again. I now understand ridiculous ambitions are part of the 'Covenant Spirit'.
Oyedepo once said on visiting ORU, Texas. "If Roberts can build this here, then it can happen anywhere in the World". Today CU has surpassed the University on which it was spiritually modelled after-at least by Times Higher standard - very soon i would complete a book titled Oyedepo: A Man with an Asian soul becauae i am convinced he is a visionary radical.
Lee kuan yew of Singapore rarely did anything new to advance Singapore. In his words we simply copied other people's template and finetuned it to our own local need. This is the same brain power behind China's rise to prominence, they identify a problem, they study solutions of others and they go after it with everything they have. Case in study: China discovered its universities where lagging behind on all fronts. The country declared the "double first class mandate" which mandated 42 of China's best university to overtake western ones. Today, for the first time Tsinghua university China has surpassed Ntl Uni of Singapore as the best Asian institution and is coming close to Harvard and the likes while surpassing many other ivy leagues.
You can see what they are trying to do with their football league. China doesn't wait for the wind of positive change, they force it to blow in their direction.
That JF Kennedy's visionary spirit which says "Russia sent a man to the Space then America must send a man to the Moon" is very absent in Africa's leadership, dying out in Europe and on standstill in USA. And when few people try to stir the waters here in Africa we tell them many reasons why they can never succeed because we are too familiar with serial failures in govt.
Ifelola Olaleye You make sense bro, thanks for such an insightful details. |

Business › Re: How To Make Money With Pay-to-click Ad Networks by Horizont: 5:53am On Jun 10, 2018 |
lekan208: How to Make Money with Pay-to-Click Ad Networks At first glance, many people wrongly assume that there is little to no money to be made with PTC ad networks. This is because the earnings can be small at first, but friends I am here to tell you that it is entirely possible to earn a substantial residual income from these pay-to-click sites.
First and foremost, any money you can get for clicking ads or doing small tasks is a bonus. Free money is even better, and many sites offer perks just for signing up. This money adds up over time, and when you employ the following tips I am about to show, you can really start to multiply your earnings. Let’s begin!
Tip 1. Sign up for a few PTC sites to start
It can be overwhelming if you sign-up for too many sites to begin with, so it’s best to pick a few high paying PTC sites to start with. Click on some advertisements to get an idea of how Pay-to-click websites work. Make sure you fill out your profile and payment information so you can receive withdrawals. After you get the hang of it, you can sign up for more PTC sites to multiply your earnings.
Tip 2. Use a Spreadsheet to keep track of all your PTC accounts
Keeping track of all your PTC logins, passwords, Upgrade status and other important information will save you time and prevent your account from being suspended for inactivity. Make note of each site’s Terms of Service for removing inactive accounts, rules regarding minimum clicks per day to receive referral earnings and other account details. Some sites require you to login every 30 days, so having a spreadsheet keeps you organized.
Tip 3. Upgrade your Account
Many Pay-to-click websites have an option to upgrade your account for higher earnings and referral commissions. This will let you reach minimum cashout quicker, and also increase your referral income which we will discuss next.
Tip 4. Promote your Referral Link
The real earnings from PTC sites come from building referrals, which allows you to earn a commission on your referrals’ clicks. Each site will most likely have a referral program that provides you with a unique link to share. When new users signup with your referral link, your account will be credited with a percentage of their click revenue. If you do not have a website, you can promote your referral links on Twitter, Facebook, Google and also buy Advertising on various PTC sites.
For example, you can Buy Advertising on PTC Site A to promote your referral link for PTC Site B. Since the users on PTC Site A are already using PTC sites, they will most likely sign up for PTC Site B. Then you will earn commissions for each of those referrals that signed up for PTC Site B.
If you do not have any money to invest in Upgrades or Advertising, that’s ok! You can get paid for clicking ads without any money to start. After you build up money on a variety of PTC sites, you can start re-investing your earnings into Upgrades, Buying/Renting Referrals and Advertising your referral links. Over time you will have lots of referrals on multiple sites and earning decent income on auto-pilot.
For list of legit and high paying PTC site message me on WhatsApp see my signature Hi Lekan, am currently on one PTC...I hope all these stuff is not a waste of time and my data as I was told I wouldn't be able to cashout until I complete some number of referrals invitations |

ogbiwa: I love these seats they're nice and comfy, I love nice stuff like these. The couple looks happy as well I celebrate them. My issue is not with them in particular but with the black man's mentality in general. Look at that same photo at the back there's a white man in same plane, same nice class as them but he's not snapping to upload and show everyone else how his life is better off. For him this class is just a means to reach his destination in comfort nothing more. The black man will never enter a nice environment or car or house without snapping to upload and make everyone else feel like their lives are inferior. That white man may be richer than emoney but we'll never know because he doesn't inundate us with pictures and videos of his gold plated bedroom and toilet at every opportunity. The richest men in the world are the simplest people. Goals. you are right on point on general note but however is just a general norm and personalty of some people and not necessarily borne out of impressing and intimidating other...Motives and moderation is the key. |
