Antwan99: Is it possible for NDLEA officers to just finger out a sign board (someone who smokes hemp and it's obvious by lips, eyes and foot), then go ahead to carry out a drug test to have proof without the person actually possessing the substance at the time? .. . No, you cannot be prosecuted without being caught with the hard drugs physically...... Unless court order asking for your blood work so as to tie you to a crime.... Outside that, you're good.... In case of job application, you cannot be arrested, you can only be disqualified for the job,, , in case of physical features you mentioned, there's no law tie-ing anyones physical features to drug test with reasonable suspicion on a crime |

Tinubu will be smoked out of Aso Rock. I told y’all.
You see how France has been quiet.
You see how UK has been quiet.
Russia said they are observing. As if they weren’t observing when Israel pummeled Iran.
Wasn’t Russia observing when Assad of Syria was dislodged and they had to evacuate him with helicopter. This is somebody they defended and assisted for years.
China is somewhere making distant hisses.

But why do they continued to make the country unsafe, uninhabitable, inhospitable, very hostile? Despite continuous cries from outside and within Nigeria for it to stop. And you guys keep comparing the atrocities here with the gun violence over there. Nawa for you guys.
Why the deafening silence, lack of political will, inaction, to address this issue? Thanks to insecurity spearheaded by this guys. Nigeria image is now so battered despite Nigerian press changing the name from terrorists to bandits. While calling Namdi K. a terrorist. .. . See how bent and battered Nigeria now is
It is only politicians their cronies, associated families and friends and brutal ruthless criminals that are now enjoying Nigeria.

immortalcrown: A country with rational law makers.
An adult deserves the freedom for betting. But when betting undoubtedly becomes an exploitative platform, the government is supposed to do something to save the citizens.
But in Nigeria, the government will rather quickly ban social media than ban betting. This is because, betting does not affect politicians but social media can work against politicians. . .. Be fast to listen, but slow in response & typing... .. Your Indian 'rational' lawmakers didn't ban gambling in India, they only banned it on Online platforms..... DeepSight: When this thing started, you could not even make some basic subscriptions which were Google-related - not companies who would approach CBN for any USD. Not the expert on this stuff, but I didnt have the sense that the country was losing USD / Forex that way because if they accepted your naira card and converted it in electronic money to their currency offshore automatically, such naira monies surely must reflow to naira expenditure destinations to balance up. Anyway, as I said, this is not my area of expertise, but one thing no one can argue about is that that policy did not have any positive impact on our forex flows whatsoever, or even the rate of the naira, etc, so I struggles to see the benefit.
In fact, after the policy was implemented things only ever got worse by every forex metric. . . . .. It was almost like fuel subsidy,,, it was designed on paper to make sense...till the Nigeria Factor showed up as usually... .. The payment gateways didn't have much problem, but Thier partner here in Nigeria exploited every lacuna to cheat, divert & inflate...till the system started failing gradually . . But things should be better now sha, since there no special interest nor any form of dollar subsidy.... .. Have a good day |
