I'm writing this piece to notify most christian youths of their giving attitude towards God. I remember last sunday when I went to church, when it was time for offering, the girl sitting close to me just removed N20 (yes you heard me right TWENTY NAIRA!) From her purse, inserted it into the envelope and dropped it in the offering basket.

Looking at this lady, her sophisticated dressing, her phone, the kind of perfume oozing out from her, then dropping N20 to her creator.

To me I saw that as an insult to God. It would have been better if she didn't give any offering at all than embarrassing God.

If you love someone and want to appreciate him/her, even if you lack the funds to do so at the moment, you'll still go beyond your limits to prove to that person that you really love him/her regardless of what it'll cost you.

Likewise God. If we say we love him (God), then we should prove it by the kind of offerings we give to him.

If you have a boss you want to appreciate for a promotion he gave to you, would you give him a gift of N20 or N50?

Or you're a final year student whom your HOD just waived a course for so you'll graduate with your mates, would you buy him a gift of N20?

You'll end up provoking him and make him regret offering you that help rather than being commended for the gift.

In 2Samuel 24:24 David said.

 And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the Lord my God of that which doth cost me nothing. So David bought the threshingfloor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.

So if a whole king like david refused to take a land offered free of charge by a law abiding citizen. How much more we who battle with foundational principalities and powers on daily basics, and still come out victorious. Thanks to the power in the name and blood of Jesus.

I want to charge us today that as we go to our various churches, we should appreciate God, if if we have nothing to thank him for, our being alive should be a testimony of his love towards us. So double your offerings by giving him something that cost you much and I'm sure that he in return would bless you abundantly.

If you are looking for help on a public platform never use your neighbors account for people to pay money. It just sounds fraudulent even when you are genuine.

You have to seek Justice for this fraudulent act by MTN.

This are steps to take:

1. Keep the SMS confirmation of the Transfer.

2.Keep the dates and Time you called the MTN Helpline. They claim to record all calls for quality control purposes. Record of the dates and time will come handy in your defense.

3. Stop all verbally communication with MTN.

4. Write a mail to MTN's email, Twitter handle, Facebook Page. All correspondences should Henceforth be written and documented.

5. Ensure to Copy the MD MTN Nigeria in your mails.

6. if within 24hrs you do not get favourably response, ensure you begin to copy NCC, and CPC in your replies , still copying the MTN Nigeria MD.

7. If after the next 24 Hours you still do not get a favourably response. you will then formally Write to NCC and CPC and put MTN in the copy, stating your complain and what you require from MTN as compensation.

8. With the above correspondence you will then write a hard copy letter to CPC. Ensure to get an acknowledgment copy. At this point You will not be only requesting for the data compensation that was deducted, but all expenses incurred while following up on the refund.

9. Within 7 days CPC will mandate MTN to verify the claim and refund you accordingly.

10. If you are not compensated after the Directive from CPC, you and then institute a law suit against MTN and demand for damages. With all this evidence and correspondence, A lot of lawyers will be begging you for them to file the case.

They would deduct my credit unnecessarily, i would be too busy to call and let it slide but they have finally done the thing that would make me port my line but i want my credit back first.

A friend of mine got back to Naija on the 14th of october and she called me because she couldnt seem to get the data . recharge thing done as fast as i could.

So i used the MTN data Gifting service so that she can contact me and whoever she needs to contact,
They deducted me and the data never arrived. for the past 10 days, i have been calling MTN. one thing or the other.

Their agents always confirm that i was deducted and that the data never arrived but it is the same story everytime, they will refund.;
Why is Nigeria like this? MTN cannot try this in South Africa that they are from

My dad and I were coming back from office, we saw a police man that stopped us and pleaded to carry him to his check point, my dad being a kind man allowed him in and then told me to come and seat with him at the back seat so the official can seat in the front with the driver. We never got to any check point before the policeman said he's okay here that he should alight..

We dropped him, then we saw two bullets rolled down from underneath the front seat to my dads leg, we were not conscious, he was like what a pity this man forgot a bullet, we couldn't turn back and give the bullet back so he took it and threw it out from the window. We got to police checkpoint they stopped us, asked for some particulars, though our glass was tinted they asked for that too, the man checking the particulars insisted it was a stop and search we should come down, then I started thanking God that what if we never found the bullet..

They searched and searched and found nothing they made a signal and one guy went a feet ahead to make a call, came back annoyed then my dad knew what was going on, I'm pretty sure he never thought of the bullet then he said haven't you searched enough and then they let us go.. That was wen he said did they want to implicate me or what when i was thinking they forgot a bullet..

Indian state women's commission adalat are searching for a 27-year-old man after he left his 21-year-old wife of ten days for Dubai, The Times of India reports. The Kerala college student who lodged a complaint at the women's commission's adalat in Pala, Kottayan on Monday, October 5 said he texted her a 'triple Talaq' over WhatsApp.

"He said she was like an apple and he had already tasted it. So he did not want her any more."J Prameela Devi, a member of the state women's commission adalat said.

The girl’s mother reportedly had paid the groom a dowry of Rs 10 lakh and also given him 80 sovereigns of gold. The unexpected talaq shattered the woman who was enrolled in a dental studies college. She and her sister dropped out college and school, respectively.

The girl returned home from her in-laws' residence when they ignored the talaq. Talaq in Islam is the right given to a man to divorce his wife. The commission is looking into the validity of a ‘WhatsApp talaq’ The incident has stirred some debate among Islamic scholars.

A member of the Samastha Kerala Jam-Iyyathul Ulama claimed says the divorce is valid but only after a formal discussion is held with the family. But another member of the same organisation says WhatsApp is not a legal document and the divorce said take place in person.

The commission, which questions the validity of a 'WhatsApp talaq', has ordered the department of non-resident Keralites' affairs to find the woman's husband, a 27-year-old, who's originally from Vaikom in Kottayam. It has also told the police to present the man's parents during the next adalat.

A recent study conducted across 10 states by an NGO called Bharatiya Muslim Mahila Andolan, showed that Muslim women have unequivocally voiced their dissent against the discriminatory practice of triple talaq with 92.1% seeking its ban.Oral talaq delivered through new media platforms like Skype, text messages, email and Whatsapp have become an increasing cause of worry for the community. "I don't think a normal youth can act in this manner.

The commission should provide protection and legal aid to the girl and her mother,'' said B Sugathakumari, an activist-poet and former chairperson of the state women's commission. She said strict action must be taken against the man. The talaq is valid said a member of the Samastha Kerala Jam-Iyyathul Ulama, on Tuesday.

"The divorce, however, will be granted only after holding discussions with both the man and wife and their family members. If the husband sticks to his stand,divorce will be sanctioned," said Sayyed Attakoya Thangal, the district president of the Ulama. Another member of the same organization who's also chairman of the state Haj committee, said the WhatsApp message was not a legal document.

"Talaq should ideally be done face-to-face. If it is not possible, talaq can be done after presenting relevant documents signed by witnesses," said Kottumala T M Bappu Musaliyar.

An "oversimplification of the entire process" is what Kerala Nadvathul Mujahideen state president T P Abdulla Koya Madani, called the WhatsApp divorce. "Talaq should be done under unavoidable circumstances and conditions.

Mandatory steps for talaq cannot be followed in WhatsApp."

A woman who had long suspected her husband was cheating with the family maid could go to jail for filming him flirting and kissing the maid on her phone and posting the video on the internet.

The scorned woman is being questioned by police and could be imprisoned after she posted the video on social media with the caption: "The minimum punishment for this husband is to scandalise him."

The wife could go to prison for a year on defamation charges, as Saudi Arabia, where the incident occurred, enforces strict punishment for anyone using videos of photography to defame another person. Though it is a big issue for men to be involved with their maids, and the country sees it as a sign of bad morals, it also a big issue to shame someone on social media.

A teenager is facing life in prison after he got a 12-year-old girl pregnant in Belfast.
The schoolgirl allegedly got pregnant after having sex with a 19-year-old man.
If she carries to full-term, the young girl - whose family are said to be in shock - could become one of Britain's youngest mothers.

Police confirmed that the 19-year-old was arrested last Thursday after the pregnancy was reported to police and has been released on bail, pending further inquiries.
If it is found that he had sex with the girl, he faces being charged with rape, which can carry a life sentence if he gets convicted.

According to UK law, anyone aged under 13 is not legally considered to be able to give consent to sex, so those who engage in sexual activity with them face a charge of statutory rape.

A Police spokesman said:

'Police arrested a 19 year old man in the West Belfast area on Thursday 1st October in relation to a sexual offence. The man has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.'


The girl who is believed to be UK's youngest mother gave birth last April after getting pregnant by her 13-year-old boyfriend while she was still in primary school.

The 11 year old girl and the baby’s father were said to be ‘totally in love’ and had been going out for a year when she got pregnant.

She then gave birth at 12 years and three months, making her five months younger than Britain's previous youngest mother.

The youngest father on record is Sean Stewart, of Bedford, who became a father aged 12 in 1998.

The spokesperson to the leader of the Niger Delta Peoples Salvation Front (NDPSF), Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo Asari, Rex Ekiugbo Anighoro, has alleged that the Facebook account of Asari Dokubo has been disabled by the Department of State Services (DSS).



A statement released yesterday by Ekiugho titled: 'Buhari and APC: Depotism and the Confiscation of Freedom of Expression: Time Bomb Waiting to Explode', alleged that Asari's account was disabled after he began a serialised article on his Facebook page on the gaffes and hypocrisy of Pres. Buhari.
