Charllay: what about the sound through headset?
Does it have equaliser?
And how long does the battery last on heavy usage

the headset that comes with it is a major improvemrment. it delivers quality sound. I couldn't believe that tecno could bring such a good headset. the equalizer is embeded in your desired music player either poweramp, ttpod or the stock music player

Graphene: Point of correction,No gorilla glass protection and the camera is fixed focus not auto focus. Cute phone with nice specs for price. Might be a good buy

whay are you saying. the camrea is auto focus boldky written at the back of the phone under the camere lens. I've even tried it out. it focuses very fast. you don't even need to waste time when takin shots

Charllay: cool specs but you didnt say anything about the screen display colour. Is it 256k colour like the N7 or does it have 16million colours like the samsung galaxy s2. I'm currently trying to decide if i should buy S2 or F7

the screen is an HD display that's 720p display. its not 256k colours. its 16000k colours. samaung galaxy s2 has a 217ppi display. while the f7 has 294ppi display.

the flip case works only when you pull out tthe back cover. the flip case doesn't work with the back covee on.

I don't need to see the phone. m just commenting based on the specs given in this thread. which is 480x854 on 5.3 inch :-/ . thanks. but I can boldly tell you that 480x854 on a 5.3 inch screen(race max) can neva ever be better than 720x1280 on a 5 inch screen(tecno f7). I rest my case.

even the samsung galaxy grand has a poor wvga(480x850) resolution. how else do you want me to explain this simple tin for you

boloksbong: Smh! "480x854" is referring to the screen dimension(screen size) and not the screen resolution. The max Q definately has a far better resolution than all the Techno and Infinix fones presently available.

I bet u don't have a clue of what you are talking about. 480 x 850 is also called wvga resolution. and not the screen size. the 480 is for the horizontal pixels while the 854 is for the vertical pixels. then if you stretch that to 5.3 inches. that's a poor resolution. you can calculate the ppi density here www.pixeldensitycalculator.com/

the screen in the rece bolt looks like a mirror while the f7 screen is clear black. you can google 'clear black'. clear black displays are more legible under bright sunlight.

I've handled the grand duos. I can tell you that the phantom a1 beats the grand duos

things I like about the tecno phantom A1
its elegant body. super slim great to hold. very light. the gorilla glass together with the 720p hd screen makes the screen crisp and crystal clear. if you bought the n7 when you use the f7 for at least 5mins you'll hate it(n7)


also the auto focus camera gives you HQ pictures . the led flash is so bright pictures taken in total darkness looks like day time pictures.(not literally)

the UI is so smooth you'd hardly experience any form of lag. that's good for the gamers.

finally the battery lasts pretty well. charged it around 7pm by 7pm the next day the batteey level is just at 15%, just light browsing via wifi, setting it up and downloading some useful apps.

if u wana get a new android phone and your budget falls between 33k to about 38k, then the tecno phantom A1 is a must buy.

in terms of scerrn quality from what I saw, the f7 beats the r eagle hands down. ithe f7 is slimmer than the eagle. I couldn't get to put on the race eagle

the phone is a five. inch screen but its slimmer and and thinner than the n7. feels so great to hold in hand. the screen is HD ie 720p resolution. so so vivid and clear.

bought the f7 for my bro today here in Uyo. about the heating issue. I used the phone to download through utorrent via N7 hotspot for about 2 hours while also doin other things( installing app) no single heat up. battery superb. it would take up to 10 discharge cycles though to stabilize the battery.
