To be honest when Mike walked up to the stage , it was "fanning" at first sight and he said " I'm married "

And then I was forced to make a decision .
Should I chase clout or just go with the person my heart connected with ?

Mike had several things working against him ..

No 1 : marriage

Marriage in BBN is like a taboo ...after seeing what happened to the likes of Dee One - who decided to stay faithful to his wife , but was still kicked out.

TTT....who decided to play the game , but was still kicked out .

Bitto Bryan....who was not even married , but just a mere suspicion that he might be ,was enough to boot him out of the door .

No 2 : curse of foreign accent .

In all the three recent seasons of BBN , no one with a foreign accent has ever made it to the finals ( except for Mike of course )

In see Gobe : Uriel was the queen of diary sessions .
Oddly entertaining , good with tasks and was the best female when it comes to arena games but the curse of foreign accent struck .

In double wahala ...we had Teddy A , who started off as a relatively strong contender till the curse of foreign accent struck .

Anto also from double Wahala was topping popularity polls during the early stages of the game .
She was beautiful , very intelligent and had a romance going on with a fellow housemate Lolu but still the curse of foreign accent struck and she was evicted.

The people from pepper Dem were not left out either ...Ike , Avala , khafi were all interesting personalities and contenders , but the curse of foreign accent swept them turn by turn .

Even with all these impediments , I decided to take a chance with Mike still .

With all these odds starked against him , I was scared of his longevity in the game , but I decided to make the most out of every moment we had .

And boy was it a rollercoaster ride !

Things started off relatively easy until we hit an iceberg .

The trolling .

The insults .

Mike's " hard luck "

The heart palpitations the death slot nominations brought .

The struggle to put on a brave facade even when I was deathly scared of his chances of survival .

The truth is that stanning Mike was not easy , but if I had an opportunity to go back to June 30th and pick a housemate again .
I'll pick Mike over and over again .

Oh yes , he's a flawed man .

Oh yes , he's not the most intelligent or the most talented in the house .

He's not the most erudite or eloquent .

There are so many places he could be better and there are lots of areas he'd need to improve on .

But the most beautiful thing about Mike is the spark in him that shines .

That little sparkle that blossoms to a full moon when you pay rapt attention.

Maybe that was what drew me towards him .

His effortless way of grabbing attention .

His energy can motivate , it can irritate , it can set you off , it can mellow you ....
Mike can trigger a whirlwind of emotions , but one thing you can't take away from him is his star power .

No matter how you feel about him .
No matter how disinterested you like to pretend you are .
You still find yourself paying rapt attention to his every move .
Mike can grab attention without even trying .

And whether his effulgent fire is burning you up or keeping you warm ....one thing about Mike , is that he always gets you to feel some kinda of way and that's his beauty ....he's simply someone that can't be ignored.

When I look at how far we've come and everything we went through to get here , I can't help but feel deep sonder and get maudlin .

No matter how sixth October pans out ...I know these five things.

Mike came.
He saw .
He had fun .
Lots and lots of it .
And he conquered .

I can't wait to see the wonders this newly minted butterfly does with his many pollens ....but first off , I can't wait to send him off with a bang !

Eeya, children have correct adaptation skills that you would be shocked if you leave her there and hang around, she would start playing with other children asap. Just ensure the creche is a good one with minders that love children. You would cope, trust me

Good morning mamas, I had my baby almost three weeks ago, I am having trouble breastfeeding him as I am not making enough milk so he cries a lot after latching for a while. For now I am augmenting with NAN 1 but I would like to know what I can be taking to produce more breastmilk. I have tried Pap and milk. Thanks

Congrats on your delivery, how do you know you are not producing enough breastmilk? Babies crying after latching a while is not a total pointer that you are not producing enough. that aside, stress, not taking enough fluids and food could reduce your milk production. What worked for me was pumping out the milk using breast pump, that mimicks baby sucking and let down of milk. Cheers.

Are u taking sufficient calcium? Had sethimg like this with my first baby at 19 weeks and cac1000 did d job for me. Consult ur doc tho, you're almost there.

Show as what u are seeing is called is a sign of labour. I would advice you head back to the hospital with your bags. How are the contractions? Can u time them? Use a contraction timer. It is well.

My prince arrived at 8:18am on the 7th of Aug weighing 4.3kg with lil tear. Still in the hospital as he’s been monitored. Bs coming when discharged. Maamas join me in thanking God.
