You see why we call you guys hypocrites. So from your statement, why were you guys shouting that gej is corrupt? So if it is your person, you say "leave him, everybody does it" but it is gej, " you rant crucify him, he is corrupt".

Liars and hypocrites.

*smiles*.. Please I need you to scroll back up to the topic to my responses, I have not mentioned GEJ, cos this thread is about celebrating an achiever, JAGABAN and not half minded leaders.

Again, I put it to you that in our time, none of your opulent and smug ibo leaders have done a pinch of what tinubu has done.
If you want me to put it to you I will, and give you clear examples.
Abia state: is it the Orji who couldn't even win his Ward after ruling for 8 years with nothing to show for it you want to mention.
Imo: Okorocha is been progressively minded and that's why things are turning around for the state.
Anambra: Peter obi's APGA failed you all by telling you to vote for GEJ for president and APGA for National Assembly, knowing fully well that they are gullible, PDP swept even the National assembly seats. And you all are left kicking the wall.
Enugu: Could you remind me of how enugu has failed to blossom with its perfect commercial/trade history. Nothing cos the government is a puppet in the hands of the fed govt.

None of your Ibo leaders have done anything selflessly for the region in our time, the imbuilt division and ego in the region has limited you to your region. Back to my point, Please we are talking about Ronaldo here and not Emenike. Ok
I know you will be jealous cos you have no one in your region that's being celebrated at the national level now. Pele
I feel your pain

unify bawo? he pushed u to Jonathan 2011 & Buhari 2015 I wonder where he will push u guys in 2011. Peter Obi outperformed Fashola as Governor and won best governor on MDG. Enugu won the award of the most resilient city. meaning having best road network in the country and as I speak Abia just fell to APGA and we will see changes and you guys are in Lagos celebrating mediocrity.
Another word to nail my point in response to your limited view.
There is differnece between state minded and national minded.

With all these 'drop in the ocean' achievements of ths states you mentioned, its nothing compared to Lagos. To be less tribalistic, Akpabio in akwa ibom states performed better than these states.
Best advice: I think its time you started travelling, go to these states and see for yourself.

OP, like u read my mind. Words can't explain how The Jagaban is feeling now, looking back, he really turned d face of politics in Nigeria. Jonathan is no hero 2 me, Tinubu is d hero I celebrate. I salute him 4 his courage, bravery and vision. He achieved dis in 4yrs not 40yrs, now dats d power of vision. I also commend d likes of fashola, especially Ngige, despite all d losses, he still stood behind him&believed in d party&he'll surely be rewarded @ d federal level.

I really appreciate Tinubu, despite all d criticisms, dere's a lot 2 gain 4rm his tactics & strategic skills. His type can transform a desert 2 a rain forest.

Well done, The Jagaban himself!
Just one word, Tinubu is a master planner. Anyone who has eyes and brain and still denies this should GO AND DIE IN THE LAGOON (Oshiomole, 2014 ; Oba Akiolu, 2015)

It is his sheepish followers that I blame. He just needs a Yoruba man as strong as orji Kalu or Ubah in Lagos and Jagaban's dynasty will be history.

I am trying to comprehend your myopic stand.
You need a bit of brush up.
Politics is a game, bring your strategy and plan to the table and prove it, its not about armchair wishes.
Talking about Ubah and Uzor Kalu, no disrespect to them, even a blind man knows they have not achieved half of what Tinubu has done. Ok...Let them try unifying the South East talkless of competing at the federal level.
Please don't beef..ok

Master Political Strategist, Bola Ahmed Tinubu invented and successfully made history with 'Common Sense Revolution' in 2015. I have always argued that the Politician of my generation and obviously a game changer is this man, He started as an underdog and became a force to reckon with.
I replied the toothless bulldogs called afenifere who eversince Tinubu left AD has been nothing.
The US forsaw a revolution like in egypt, tunisia to happen in Nigeria but Asiwaju changed the game by developing a strategy of standing muscle to muscle with the incumbent with common sense, calmed the aggression of the Northerners (Election has not been that peaceful in the north before 2003, 2007, 2011) and channelled it into participating and speaking with their votes and it worked.
Jagaban has no doubt carved a huge chunk of achievements in Nigeria's history. Some of which are:
- successfully flagged his own poltical party AC, pulled his own followers by showing great leadership abilities.
-Tactically worked with vibrant political parties (CPC/ANPP/part of APGA) to form opposition to unseat the incumbent government, the first in Nigeria's history.
-First time same political party rules the country and Lagos state at the same time.
-The opposition Pulled majority at the National Assemblies (senate and house of reresentatives).
- He has been unrelently protecting the interest of the south west and willing to extend it to other regions if they are ready to share is progressive dream, Okorocha is an example, Benue, Kwara, Kogi are no exception.
-No one government has ruled oyo state twice back to back, but APC has done that.
-Opposition party, APC gallantly won the Presidency and the highly targeted Lagos state at the same time. The first time in the history of Nigeria.
...His achievements are countless
Late Obafemi Awolowo would be smiling in his grave because a man in the person of Bola Tinubu has achieved more than he ever dreamt of during his time.
ASIWAJU BOLA TINUBU, THE LION OF BOURDILLON, JAGABAN, the master strategist of our time in Nigeria!
PDP go back to your drawing board and bring the best heads next season, this would make Nigeria's democracy work and mature.

I duff my hat for you Asiwaju. And to evergreen Buhari and the winning team bravo.
Remember we the electorates have the power now..
Long Live Nigeria.

Politics / Re: Fashola Is Corrupt, He Cannot Accuse Yoruba Leaders Of Betrayal – Afenifere by HOTsnow(m): 12:11am On Mar 26, 2015
To me these are useless toothless bulldogs barking... *afenifeWON*
This bunch of old fools are still pained by the fact that Tinubu moved on and still remain relevant in Nigerian Politics.
This same afenifere handpicked TINUBU and declared him as the competent one in 1999. This old fools sat in the background and served as godfathers, receiving returns, handled lagos state projects, shared landed properties amongst themselves and shared ghana must gos as usual.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu, after running for two terms with this corrupt afeniferes decided he is moving on, flagged his own political party AC. That is an Hallmark of a strategist and a leader. He worked his way from the bottom to the top which is very hard in Nigerian politics, and of course with the support of the people who witnessed his performance. AD should be ashamed.

Every states in Nigeria, is controlled by godfathers in whichever capacity, so why cry foul when your corrupt circle can't have access to suck the state dry, AD afenifere has eaten enough. AC came into power and has flexed its muscle in Lagos, the southern region and now nationwide.

In my own opion, this toothless bulldogs should just go back into their holes and share their ghana must gos from GEJ or merge their useless, worn out party AD to PDP. They should be ashamed of themselves, the only standing YORUBA leader so far, how many of them can stand him.

This is pure eye service, you wanto kick him out, AD, bring out a formidable candidate and do the talking at the polls and stop ranting with mouth full of GEJ;s money.

Yes! Tinubu is corrupt, Yes Fashola is corrupt and so is every stinking agbada wearing, old fools barking.

All I want in Nigeria is for the ELECTORATES and that is you and I to have the power to decide the future of our leaders from the Ward Councillors to the Presidency. Political Orientation is rising by the day and soon, we will be deciding their future and comfortably eat and spend money. MY WISH FOR NIGERIANS.

Not again...This is the biggest trash iv read in recent time.
Nigeria is arrogantly lagging behind South Africa in all spheres.
Education: This vital sector is supposed to build thr youths...the youths bn the future of the country, The Nigerian educational system/sector is in shambles!..SA has the best universities in africa and a couple of these universities in top 100 in the world...
Power sector:..I don't need to strain myself on this cos I'm sure over 99% of people reading this are in d darkness or running on generator...The sharp opp is the case in SA.
Governance/Political system: south africa bn a member of BRICS says it all.
Don't let us talk abt the Health sector, Aviation sector, etc
......I save my ink at this point, but I'd like to outline *hilariously*, some major points.
- how many of you graduates in Nigeria no experience ASUU strike wen u dey university.
-How many hours una dey get light for your ause.
-after u graduate finish, if u no sabi person, NO WORK..lest I forget companies for naija now na Contract/temporary staff dem dey take now oo.
-Na for naija one politician go dey embezzle millions *openly* and the *archaic* law no go fit nab am.
- Na naija get oil and gas plenty bt how many of una fit afford gas cooker for ause talkless of kerosene.
- Na for naija, dem lecturers they teach frm books*old theories* witout practical, Imagine a computer science Graduate wey no fit use computer. Well shebi d so called Professors of Electrical engineering sef no fit couple an automobile, na so so quotations frm old texts...smh
-na naija first lady get office and naija hard earned money accrued to her.,
-na naija a performing National team coach no get over 9mnths salary*smh*

Caveat: the educational system which to me is the key in any country builds the leaders of tmrw, engages in researches and ground breaking discoveries in all spheres, thus leading to quality growth. Bt then the FG is busy ignoring the striking Universities as if the sector means nothing...smh. If you are a Nigerian graduate, Make sure you build yourself for the outside world.

US and UK urge citizens to leave Yemen
Last updated: 6 August 2013

Both countries call on citizens to leave Gulf Arab nation immediately, as reported drone strike kills several in Yemen.
The United States has evacuated 75 embassy staff from the Yemeni capital, after both the US and United Kingdom told their citizens to leave due to the threat of "terrorist attacks."

The US citizens were flown out of the country on military aircraft on Tuesday, according to the Pentagon, which declined to comment further, citing security concerns.

The new US measures, announced in a statement on Tuesday, followed a heightened security warning from Washington on Friday that prompted the closure of several Western embassies in Yemen and several US missions across the Middle East and Africa.

It also came after at least four suspected al-Qaeda members were killed in what local tribal leaders said was a US drone strike in central Yemen early on Tuesday.

"The Department urges US citizens to defer travel to Yemen and those US citizens currently living in Yemen to depart immediately," the statement posted on its website said.

The UK's foreign office, meanwhile, advised against all travel to Yemen, and "strongly urge[d] British nationals to leave now". It said that all British embassy staff had been temporarily withdrawn from the country.

Italy also urged its citizens to leave, citing the "particularly high risk of kidnap," while the UN's refugee agency boosted security, though it did not withdraw its personnel.

'Intercepted communications'

Tuesday's warning came after US media reports indicated that the increased threat levels were the result of what US intelligence officials said were intercepted communications between top al-Qaeda leaders.

The New York Times reported on Monday that the closure of the embassies was the result of intercepted electronic communications between Ayman al-Zawahri, who replaced Osama bin Laden as head of al-Qaeda, and Nasser al-Wuhayshi, the head of Yemen-based affiliate al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP).

US sources said that while some type of message between Zawahri and AQAP was intercepted recently, there were also other streams of intelligence that contributed to the security alert, which was prompted by a threat from AQAP.

"The threat picture is based on a broad range of reporting, there is no smoking gun in this threat picture," a US official told the Reuters news agency on condition of anonymity.

US officials said there was still no information about a specific target or location of a potential attack, but the threat to Western interests had not diminished.

It was unclear whether the drone strike was directly related to the US warnings. Among those killed was an al-Qaeda operative listed by Yemeni authorities on Monday, according to tribal sources.

Yemen's official Saba news agency confirmed "the death of four al-Qaeda militants in Wadi Abida in Marib".

The tribal source named two of the dead as Saleh al-Tays al-Waeli and Saleh Ali Guti.

Waeli figures on a government list of 25 al-Qaeda suspects wanted in connection with an alleged plot to launch a major attack before Ramadan ends and the Muslim Eid al-Fitr feast begins, either Thursday or Friday.

Tuesday's drone strike is the fourth of its kind since July 28, bringing the number of people killed in such attacks in the last week to 17.

My Take: The War on Terror is taking a new dimension, carrying out drone attacks in a country that houses your citizens is a deadly game.
WHAT IS YOUR TAKE?
