@ slim ribz  where ve you been in the last decade? Do you think Bayo in the last BBA
was not from Nigeria? Nigeria soceity accepts it esp. in the south(thats why it is going to hold in lagos so no sharia)

PoliticsRe: Nigeria External Debt Forgiveness: Where Do We Go From Here? by hotspice(f): 2:38pm On Jan 04, 2006
checks and balances do not work effectively in Nigeria, our so called leaders are not interested in projects that will
not increase their bank account(s) so untill that is assured, the finance minister will continue to have problems with the house concerning the payment.

I suspect this debt relief by the Big boys cos i know for sure that there is no free lunch so what is the deal?
CelebritiesRe: Ini Edo Busted! by hotspice(f): 1:44pm On Jan 04, 2006

for all the baba mama with or without drama out there...keep ur heads up kiss
RomanceRe: Why Does Girls Frick About Materials Things by hotspice(f): 12:05pm On Jan 04, 2006
let me guess, by 'frick' u mean crazy? well i must agree that most
ladies take it to the extreme but that doesnt mean that a brother shouldnt
work hard to provide, after all God created all the comforts(including man)
before he created Eve! grin

LiteratureHello? Mills & Boon Anyone? by hotspice(op): 4:43pm On Jan 03, 2006
Yeah i know many people will turn their noses but lets be real here
if you are a lover of novels you must ve read at least 1 M&B wink
and if you are a romantic (like moi) then you must ve read more than a dozen
although i don't read them as i used to(i left teenagehood long ago grin) i never the less
go through it if i come across it.

but do anyone out there remember authors like
Daniel Steele? Michelle Reid
or series like temptation, intimates e.t.c

do they still produce these books?
when it comes to romantic fiction m&b is it.
CelebritiesRe: Why Are We Not Crazy About Our Celebrities? by hotspice(f): 4:19pm On Jan 03, 2006
Nigerians dont go crazy over celebrities but that doesnt mean
we are not fans oh. Girls do stop to ve a pix with tuface(brother is fine)
but say to start crying or dying over a celeb rolleyes(like my babbyboy seun kiss he is a celeb in NL).....it is not Nigerian period!

Secondly we like to 'form' for 9ja
and we dont like making the other person feel too good about him/herself(@layi) tongue
xcept if u ve been influnced by oyibos, it is unNigerian
to ask for autograph  shocked

more affordable. well lets watch and see.
LiteratureRe: What Nigerian Books Are You Reading? by hotspice(f): 3:56pm On Dec 20, 2005
@ gabuu what do u mean by serious? fictional books? angry
tell me do you watch only Discovery channel? afterall 95% of
movies are fictional and about 45% are based on novels. and
if one should go by what u said(i.e read only serious books) the you should not watch films!
and sit-coms!

If you are a lover of books(which i guess this forum is for)
then you will appreciate both fictional, motivational, inspirational e.t.c books.
a book lover reads a variety cos it broadens the mind.
why is Literature-in-English being studied both in Secondary and Higher Institutions?
after all according to you one most only read serious books?!
and as for most Nigerians reading motivational books....that is not true.

most Nigerians are below proverty line(W.H.O reports) and buying/reading
is a waste of money/time to them.
hey no hard feelings grin
