I just had to share my experience with Turkish air
My flight was from lagos to IAD Washington
Please make sure you eat before flying. Please eat. Even carry food to eat on board lol
We were given the same food twice would attach the picture. Cold bread and juice. I had not eaten all day so my eyes were very red when I saw that bread. Wanted to believe it was appetizer but to my greatest surprise that was the main meal.
9hours stop over at Istanbul I was too tired and hungry so I paid for the lounge about €47. I ate breakfast and lunch, showered and slept like a baby. Money well spent.

At security they kept asking if I had been to china or any country in Europe in the past 14days.
The flight was pretty full and I could count the blacks on the flight.
Now back to the food....
Same cold bread but this time they added cheese inside the bread. Thank God I had eaten very well at the lounge. But for an 11hours flight I felt that was really bad. They severed the same bread meal twice. I slept most part of the flight so i was fine. Didn’t have to eat that cold bread only drank the juice.

I was asked how long I was staying
Who I was visiting
And if I had food stuff which I said yes. But I wasn’t checked and I was out of the airport.
Hopefully I would explore turkey on my way back home in January for a few days

Got my visa approved yesterday. Renewal though. The denial rate is very very high.

Yes I submitted my passport, I did online for Canada so I only went with phone copies of my passport data page for biometrics.

Did you get a notification when eligibility review started?

Schengen through France takes a while now. When I submitted in June I didn’t get my passport till middle of July almost 6 weeks and it was a renewal. It’s a gamble. Except you want you go ahead and if you need to submit for Canada you can request your passport back and then resubmit back.

Please house , I have been waiting for almost two months for feedback from the Canadian guys after my online submission, please can I try and apply for the shenghen visa...hope it won’t clash in any way. Like if they suddenly request for my passport because I don’t know how the shenghen own works and if I will have to submit my passport. I really need to go for vacation outside the country before Christmas.Please your responses will be highly appreciated

Submitted June 10th. Mine started about 2 weeks ago and nothing has changed till now. Still on eligibility review and background check at the same time.

Finally Day 57 (Applied 24th June ) checked my TRV application status via GCKey and saw that my eligibility review has commenced (No email notification was sent).

We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.

Hopeful to get a favorable response .. Anyone knows how long it'll take from Eligibility review to final decision? and for all June applicants have your status also changed ?

Yes mine changed this week. I did mine on the 13th of June and it changed to, June 14th, 2019 Completed

Some in the student section noticed that the date and status changed. i.e "June 10, 2019 Completed"

You are allowed to rescheduled once. You don't av to pay another money. The new date you get for rescheduling is subject to available dates as at that time.

Please if we book a date for interview. Are we allowed to reschedule or not? Or we have to paid another fee?

Yes. I submitted on the 10th just got my pick up notification yesterday. So I guess it’s a general delay for tourist visa.

I remember I submitted an application to the UK Embassy with my International Passport submitted alongside, went to VFS next day for biometrics with only coloured copies of my International Passport’s Data Page, about 3 copies or so. That wasn’t recent though, things may have changed, dunno.

I don't think it's appropriate to assume. I have a 2yr visa and its expiring in November and I just used it in December for New Years with my boyfriend we actually spent 10days. So I'm only returning back for a month to help my friend around cuz I promised her long before now. I run a family business that is doing very well so I don't have time to sit in another county for 6 months. I am a well traveled business person cause of the nature of my job.

First off, you should be honest... you should have been honest in your previous applications too so that you wouldn't be in this situation to begin with but I guess we are past that.
If you get pulled into secondary after lying to the immigration officers, they will probably call whoever you say you are going to visit. Once you get trapped in that lie - because it won't hold up under hours of interrogation - they will give you an expedited removal and 5-year ban. I cannot stress enough that you should just be honest about what is going on to avoid any problems.
What would even have possessed you to lie about the number of people you know in the U.S.? That doesn't even make sense.

Thanks, I'm actually going to stay with the Person I filled on my application, my friend is their neighbor. I didn't think it was relevant to change the address since I only stay at one particular place or hotel. So I'm still going to the same state and city. I was just worried if since I just left 2 weeks ago it would be a problem coming back.

Hi, I'm new here. Pls I need an urgent reply. I was at the US about two weeks ago and I'm going back next week. I told the POE then I was visiting a friend who i filled on my application in 2012. I was wondering if I still mention I'm visiting again if it would be a problem or I should just say I'm attending a wedding. I'm actually going to help a friend who just Had a baby but I've stated I only know one person all my applications. I'm really confused here.
