A 34 year old woman identified as Wykesha Reid didn’t know her end was very near when she paid a visit to the Deep Ellum salon in Dallas, Texas for booty shots.

Ms. Reid was said to have complained severally about the size of her booty & she wanted a bigger bum. However She was reported to have died after her fourth visit to the black-market bum injection shop. The police eventually found her body at the salon which had been cleaned out and her wallet had been taken.

The Dallas News reports that salon owners Denise Ross, 43, and Jimmy Clarke, 31 – who is also known as Alicia – are being hunted by police, though not because of Ms Reid’s death.

Police say they are wanted on charges of practising medicine without a licence in relation to a separate case in which a woman who received the surgery suffered ‘pain, soreness and psychological problems’.

The pair could still be charged with Ms Reid’s death, however, depending on the toxicology results.

Once again, Nollywood and President Jonathan are disconnected from the priorities of Nigerians. Millions are hungry and the country is headed off a cliff and what we get is the President having weekly dinner with celebs at Eko Hotel. Mr. President should know that all entertainers in the country won’t amount to a spoon of water in the bucket of our population. I agree that our entertainers judging by recent behaviour are now seen as hungry men and women with insatiable appetite, but Mr. President, the larger part of the society are equally hungry and should be fed as well. Why feed just the entertainers? Isn’t that discrimination?

What will the entertainers say to Jonathan except the usual lies and half truths? Can a man with a mouthful of undeserved food speak or say the truth? An assessment of the lifestyle of these entertainers gives a false picture of the situation of things as it affects the society at large. I got your invite for the first dinner which held at Eko Hotel and I boycotted it because I felt that any event by the government at this point in time should be about reassuring the people that the government feels their pains deeply with promises of working tirelessly to bring an end to the underlying causes of such situations in this country, not getting together to eat small chops and samosa while most Nigerians are languishing. It was very embarrassing waking up the next morning to see our shameless celebrities posing with their invites on social media which invariably means they are telling their fans and the masses who brought them to fame that they are enjoying the good life and everyone else can go to hell.

One entertainer jokingly asked why the President is having these dinners with (the same set of) celebs all the time. I wanted to attribute it to youth empowerment but on a second thought, If Mr. President has a genuine interest in youth empowerment, hosting a few entertainers doesn’t cut across as empowering the youth. I think Mr. President has been wrongly advised that entertainers can be used to influence the Nigerian youths and electorate. These entertainers can’t influence votes within their families.

Another thing is, if Mr. President must have an interactive session with entertainers, he should consider a larger representation of entertainers from all parts of the country, not just those who ply their trade in the south. It will seem to most people that Mr. President is only interested in entertainers from the south. It is called the Nigerian entertainment industry not the South South and South East entertainment industry.

Has Mr. President taken over responsibilities of the Lagos State governor because he currently seems to enjoy greater visibility in the state than the governor and these visits come with a heavy cost to the state in terms of lost man hours caused by traffic along the routes to the event venue. Streets are usually cordoned off by security personnel and a strange difficulty to use mobile phones in such areas, possibly because of the deployment of radio signal jamming devices by the operatives on guard in those areas.

Residents of Lagos shouldn’t go through this because their President is in town. I’ll love to tell Mr. President that service, not celebrities, delivers votes.

A Japanese woman who makes art based on her vagina has been charged with obscenity, in a case that has sparked discussion on censorship.
Megumi Igarashi, 42, had allegedly displayed an "obscene" work at a Tokyo sex shop and sent 3D data of her genitals to other people.
She was arrested in early December and has been held in detention since then.
Ms Igarashi was previously arrested in July, but was later released following a legal appeal and public pressure.
On Wednesday Ms Igarashi was charged with obscenity for displaying a work modelled on her vagina and for distributing data that could be used to print out a 3D copy of her genitals, reported the Asahi Shimbun newspaper.
Ms Igarashi, who goes by the name Rokudenashi-ko which means "no-good girl" in Japanese, pleaded not guilty.
Asahi Shimbun reported that she read out in court a prepared statement which said: "My works are all meant to induce friendly laughter because they involve cutely decorating sexual organs. The works are not obscene."
Japan's obscenity laws ban the depiction of Instruments, which are blurred in broadcast media and images.
If convicted, Ms Igarashi could be jailed up to two years and/or fined as much as 2.5 million yen (£13,350, $20,750)
Controversial kayak
Ms Igarashi made international headlines in July when she was arrested, after she raised funds online to make a vagina-shaped kayak using a 3D printer.
She had sent data that could be used to create 3D models of her vagina to those who had donated to her.
She was released after several days following a legal appeal and a petition signed by more than 17,000 people saying her work was art and not obscene, reported Japan Times.
But police arrested her again on 3 December on similar grounds.
They also arrested the owner of a Tokyo sex shop for allegedly displaying Ms Igarashi's "obscene goods" in her shop window from October 2013 until July this year. The woman was later freed after a judge refused to allow prosecutors to question her further.
Authorities however were allowed to continue to detain Ms Igarashi because the judge was concerned that she would "destroy evidence or flee", said Asahi Shimbun.
Her case has sparked debate on the nature of censorship and Japan's obscenity laws.
Correspondents say that opinion is split in Japan over whether Ms Igarashi's work is obscene, with some pointing out that images of joysticks are not seen as causing offence.
On her website, Ms Igarashi, who has made several items based on her genitals using a silicone mould, said she wanted to make vaginas "more casual and pop", much like how joysticks are regarded as "part of pop culture" in Japan.

Lionel Messi's magical display as Barcelona beat Manchester City 1-0 to secure their place in the Champions League quarterfinals has drawn the attention of both the media and the bookmakers ahead of Sunday's Clasico.
Earlier in the week, the press build-up had focused around Real Madrid's poor form, and especially Cristiano Ronaldo's mental and physical woes, but Messi drew the focus on Thursday morning after a display that suggested the four time Ballon d'Or winner was returning to his very best.
Barcelona-backing Mundo Deportivo editor Santi Nolla wrote that, with Messi in top form, Barcelona were going into Sunday's La Liga clash in the best possible way.
"The Blaugrana arrive at a high level to the Clasico. The best of all is the deep respect being shown publicly by all Barca players for Madrid, who arrive really wanting to turn things around. It will be a great game," Nolla wrote. "But Barca, nevertheless, will go out with a little advantage -- they have Messi."
The mood in Madrid was understandably less buoyant, given that Messi -- the all-time Clasico top-scorer -- has a tendency to lift his game when facing Los Blancos.
Madrid-based newspaper AS' Alfredo Relano wrote: "Messi has woken up and Madrid's presence on Sunday will create a motivation which was not there last night. In reality, the [City] game was like a starter for the main course to come, the Clasico."
The bookies have also been impressed with how Barca are gearing up for the game, and AS published a piece showing the Catalans' lower odds to win Sunday's game, with Messi also heavily favoured over Ronaldo to score first goal.

However, the Italian was the subject of a more negative story in Madrid-based El Confidencial claiming that club president Florentino Perez is again unhappy with the coach's work.
The article claimed that Perez -- "a confessed fan of Marlon Brando, and more secret admirer of Robert De Niro" -- is "fed up with Ancelotti's caprices," saying the Bernabeu boss did not understand decisions such as not playing teenager Martin Odegaard and leaving January signing Lucas Silva on the bench.

A knife-wielding mob has hacked to death a US-Bangladeshi blogger whose writing on religion had brought threats from Islamist hardliners.
Avijit Roy, an atheist who advocated secularism, was attacked in Dhaka as he walked back from a book fair with his wife, who was hurt in the attack.
No-one has been arrested but police say they are investigating a local Islamist group that praised the killing.
Hundreds of students gathered in Dhaka to mourn the blogger's death.
Mr Roy's family say he had received threats after publishing articles promoting secular views, science and social issues on his Bengali-language blog, Mukto-mona, or Free Mind.

24yr old Harnaam Kaur, who lives in Berkshire, UK, and suffers from what doctors calls polycystic ovary syndrome (facial hair growth in women) says she now loves her beards and have stopped trying to get rid of it. Harnaam said she started growing the beards when she was just 11 years old and had to endure years of bullying and people making fun of her.

Harnaam, who once attempted suicide, had in the past tried to wax, bleach and shave the hair which also started growing on her chest and arms but finally decided to stop after being baptised as a Sikh, a religion that forbids the cutting of body hair. She's now speaking up about her new-found confidence.

Speaking during an appearance on This Morning, Harnaam said:

"At the end of the day, I love myself and the way that I'm formed. Going through primary and secondary school with the facial hair, kids can be nasty. It led me to self harm and wanting to take my own life. It takes a lot of strength to say, 'I want to kill myself. A split second is all it took. That thought process really empowered me to just carry on with life.

"I'm more spiritual now than I am religious, I live my life the way I see fit. I stand for what I am. To be labelled as a woman you can look however you want."

Harnaam is now working on a campaign to show that name-calling has a big impact with anti-bullying charity Fixers and appears in a short film with her brother.
