Same thing. Arrival means you must arrive to Singapore on or before visa expiration date. You are allowed to arrive same day your visa will expire but will not exceed 14 days stay . Unlike other countries you will need to have valid visa throughout your stay. That’s why it called arrival visa.

The conference organizer provided me with the documents approved by Chinese government and it took 3 weeks to be ready before it was sent to me for my visa application

I have been away from NairaLand for some days and I just checked in to see 80 mention on this topic. pardon me I won’t be able to reply all for those sending email I have seen and replied please note that I am not an agent and I can not provide you with references for Singapore visa.

However I drop my email for the lady who want to get information for CIPM a professional body I belong to and not for visa enquirer, all my travel experience is posted here from visa application to travel and return.

I note there is no bank statement in your listed documents. Does it mean it is not necessary to submit bank statement as proof of fund for visa application? How much did you buy your ticket and which airline? Thanks.

Maybe i skip it you need 3 months bank statement

My CEO gave me his Singpass login to use for the VISA processing. I believe I dont need to go to the embassy anymore to submit document if I can upload all document via Singpass?

Singpass is different from visa application. You can not submit visa application online you need to gather documents and visit embassy, After you get Singapore visa you apply for singapass for immigration check when you arrive . The directions will be written on your visa printout paper you will receive

I thought you have event in China already , anyways the conference I was supposed to attend was organized by a professional association I belong and is annual conference which happens once a year so this conference is over till next year and it can be rotates to another country not in China next year

Your listed documents is in okay but one thing left which is very vital to his application, you need someone in Singapore to fill in references form for him, (see below document) since he is traveling on a business trip meaning he is visiting a company or event, someone in the company or event organizer should fill the form for him. Without this form his application will not be received.

I paid 30k visa fee when I applied in April but the fee might go up now due to the current reality in Nigeria

I have gotten my visa but it came in late after the conference so I didn’t travel for the event but my visa will expire in November I might travel for a visit before it expired

The conference organizers need to get you special invitation from ministry of interior in China outside their conference invitation is compulsory

Getting a Chinese visa is harder than Schengen visa . China don’t issue tourist or visit visa anymore to Nigerians only business visa, student visa or permanent residence visa etc

Chinese Embassy requires you to get a special invitation from Chinese government in China before they can accept your application. The invitation letter will be issued by the ministry of foreign affair China addressed to Chinese embassy Nigeria this process will take weeks to get the invitation and it be requested through the organization who is inviting you to china.

I plan visiting China for conference only to get to the embassy with the conference invitation letter and I was ask to get the invite from the china government as stated above. I have to contact the conference organizers it took them three weeks to get it.
