I'm actually very grateful for your response.Just the last question:What documents are they going to scrutinise? And I dont mind if you could help suggest answers to the questions cos the truth is I dont want to go back to greece.I will appreciate your affirmative response.
*Your purpose of travelling to Germany
*Why you chose to travel to Germany from Nigeria
*If you've been stopped before by the Greek immigration
*(They might even want to test your knowledge about Greece)
*Who you are visiting in Germany
*How much money is in your possession
*Where you would be staying in Germany
*What job you do in Greece
*When you intend to leave Germany
*If you have an onward ticket etc

Travel / Cost Of Living In Germanys by huet: 10:27am On Sep 10, 2010
Hi everybody,

It would be very interesting and helpful to start a topic about the cost of living in Germany.

Don't forget to mention where you are living

Let's compare the:

accommodation prices (how much does it cost to rent or to buy an accommodation in Germany?)

public transportation fares (tube, bus etc , )

food prices(per month, how much does it cost you?)

health prices (for those who need medical insurance)

eduction prices (if you need to pay)

energy prices (oil, electricity)

common bills (Internet, television, telephone, mobile phone)

prices of a good menu in a traditional restaurant

prices of a beer or a coffee in a regular pub

Thanks in advance for your participation!

Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries by huet: 3:03pm On Mar 18, 2010
@Justwise
Ok, i'm just worried cos the BHC may question your intentions, going for 5days training paid by you while employed by a company may raise an alarm. If your company is picking the cost then one can understand OR if you are self-employed.

They may also want to know how much you are earning in a month/yr to be able to afford to go for 5days training in the UK, flight, cost of the training, accommodation, feeding etc.

Here are the details:
I would be on my annual leave-I'll be using this period for personal development
I have a letter from the HR department in my company stating my status in the company, wen i'll be coming back to nigeria and all sorts.
I earn 147k naira per month. The training in the UK cost 790 pounds.

Please, all i need is;are my documents complete or what are the required documents,

Thanks for your time.

I am fully employed in Nigeria (I am a Nigerian) and my company is not sending me for the training in the UK.I'll be paying for all expenses.
