PoliticsRe: Kanu Asks Fg To Absorb Biafran Scientists by hugooh42(m): 12:25pm On Mar 09, 2011
It's unfortunate that we have been having leaderships that don't give a hoot about technological innovations. These Biafran scientist should have been assembled after the war and the government tap from their experience. It's unfortunate that quite a good number of them are late. This brings to my mind  Late Engr.Roy Umenyi, former deputy governor of old Anambra state, who was one of these great scientists.

Now You see the limit these Nigerian nurses abroad can push their husbands. If the man suddenly react violently and it leads to something tragic like death, people will start talking.Turning your husband into a house boy,yet not satisfied you cheated on him and had the effontery to tell him.And now you are thinking of sending him broke ass back to Nigeria, because you think he is too old for your 35years old body.

BusinessRe: Chinese Firms Swindle Nigerian Importers by hugooh42(m): 5:04pm On Feb 21, 2011
But how could the man be that stupid to order stuff that like chemicals from China and expect them to give it like that?He is suppose to take a trip and see what he is buying and pay and ship then head back to Nigeria.A friend recently came to China to order for antimalarial drugs worth about 10million after ordering he paid and left. When the goods arrived naija it was discovered that half of the container was stocked with fake drugs.
So its always advisable when you come to China get the police involved tell them what you are there for, though it will cost you something but if the company knows that the Police is involved they will thread carefully. And even if they cheat you you stand the chance of recovering your money.
BusinessRe: Any Jamaicans In Nigeria? Will Nigeria Welcome Me There For Business? by hugooh42(m): 2:54pm On Feb 18, 2011
@don7 I'm not saying its not profitable doing business in Nigeria.I said its only for the strong.Your shock absorber must be in top form.Let me enlighten you a bit. I am a businessman with business interests in many sectors. I have been into it for 11 years. Some of the problems we face are unstable government policies, police extortion, multiple taxation Local government, state and even land owners especially when one wants to put up a structure. If you are into government contracts, you will bribe from the head even to the gate- man.Even the gate- man wields enormous power. If he tells you Oga is not around, there is not much you can do. Then we come to the area of epileptic power supply, then stiff competition from your competitors, price slashing. And if you are into importation, once your products starts doing well they will go and produce a fake replica of your products and, My hand are already paining me.I will stop here for now.
