The most disgusting of these abuse is the one that happened in Wisconsin.A priest sexually abusing more than 200 deaf/dump little boys for more than 25years.knowing these boys because of their handicaps cannot reveal these atrocities. This madness should be condemned by every sensible person, irrespective of religious/denominational inclination. |

The New York Times on Thursday published fresh allegations that the Catholic Church was more interested in protecting its own reputation than the innocent children placed in its care, adding to the public anger and acute embarrassment already faced by the Church and Pope Benedict XVI. The paper alleged that two priests in the U.S. state of Wisconsin asked the Vatican's office of the Doctrine of the Faith to allow them to conduct a church trial against a priest accused of sexually abusing some 200 deaf boys at a Catholic school. The request was refused and the trial halted, documents in the possession of the paper reveal. The present Pope, then known as Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger thus once again finds himself at the heart of the scandal, since, as head of the office of the Doctrine of the Faith, he was responsible for cases of child abuse. The priest in question was the Reverend Lawrence Murphy, who worked at the former St. John's School for the Deaf in St. Francis, Wisconsin, from 1950 to 1975. He died in 1998. His alleged victims were not limited to the deaf boys' school. Several other witnesses have come forth to denounce abuse at the hands of Murphy and their testimony shows that the priest continued to molest boys even after he reportedly repented and was moved out of the school. |

@ viaro you are just beating about the bush and trying to cover your ignorance of the bible. How about the time of the Apostles when they sold their belongings and brought the money to the church. When people like ANANIAS AND SAPPHIRA who represent the poster of this thread tried pulling a fast one. |

ArThe Senate outrage was upon a motion presented by Senator Ayogu Eze (PDP, Enugu North) drawing its attention to last week’s robbery on the Lagos-Benin expressway where it was alleged that the robbers raped and ordered the driver of the luxury bus conveying the passengers to crush passengers that did not have money. The outrage of the senators was summarized by the President of the Senate, Senator David Mark who described the unidentified driver of the bus as the biggest criminal in the whole episode for his willingness to crush his passengers instead of giving up his life. Introducing the motion yesterday, Senator Eze said the incident last Tuesday, 25 February 2010 was one of the most horrifying acts of armed banditry in the nation’s history. Mark expresses worry over robbers’ behavoiur He expressed worry at the “behaviour of a deranged robbery gang, that after robbing a luxury bus on the Benin- Lagos expressway, commanded those who had nothing on them to lie face downwards and commanded the driver of the bus at gun point to run over them several times.” He further expressed concern that the “horrendous act is the height of the decline of security in the country, but more importantly is a reflection of the sorry state of our psyche as a nation and equally aware that robbery has stubbornly refused to go away in our land as is evident by incidents in many parts of the country.” med robbers ordered luxury driver to crush passengers without money |
Green energy does not come cheap, even nuclear energy. So we need to used all these energy sources to generate and even surpass the the 6000megawatt target. |
But US government is talking about green energy partnership, yet 50% of their power generation is from coal. Even china's energy is 70% from coal. But Nigeria has totally abandoned coal as a mean of generating power instead focused on gas flaring because we have abundance of it. I hope the CBN invest part of this fund in coal power plants. |
Please, how do you deal with drivers in haulage biz.My dad was in the biz many years back but was wrecked by drivers. the most annoying apart of their antics is removing the parts of the truck and selling them .Then replacing them with bad ones and asking the owner to buy a new part.please i need your advice as i want to go into this BIZ.what WILL you do in such a situation? |
Ajanlekoko,i agree with you totally. The Chinese are the most accommodating people i have ever met.i live in China. But its unfortunate what our Nigerian brothers and sisters do there. Do you know they practice cultism i mean campus cultism there?fight, stab themselves.they also gang rape Chinese girls. we are not even talking about illicit drug pedlings .They are also involved in armed robbery,Drug trafficking and 419 and some of our girls prostitution.Any government that folds its hands and watch these happen to their citizens are irresponsible.so the blame is on some of our Nigerian brothers and sisters. |
This is indeed very sad .i will suggest you find a way to forward this write -up to a national newspaper,it will receive an immediate attention from the government. I believe something will be done to address it. |

I know that Pastor Benny is an anointed man of God, who God has called into the healing ministry.Whatever is happening in his life now is actually a trial and we need to support him in prayers. But seeing some malicious comments by some so-called Christians here,i couldn't but wonder why such hatred for those called into the healing ministry. In Nigeria, all sorts of name have been called Pastor T.B Joshua, Pastor Oyakhilome and others.Recently Pastor Kumuyi of Deeper life church lost his wife from sickness, they called him names and asking why he couldn't heal his wife.We should know the devil is not happy with all that God does through these anointed men. |
"Pastor Oyakhilome is a disciple of Benny Hinn; I pray it's not him" who told you pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a disciple of Pastor Benny Hinn? And who also told you Oyakhilome lives in United states. Stop making unfounded and malicious insinuations. |
