Fellow Naira lander, Good morning, good afternoon and good evening.
So I have this Project i am doing In Ibadan. I need advice on Plastering workmanship. Please see the pictures aside, it is 2 buildings. Building A is 2 bedroom and building B is 6 flats of a room and a parlor each. I have paid aproximately 1M to set the blocks and 2.9M to do the roofing (wooding and Sumo roofing sheets at 23500 naira per bundle. 15 pieces in a bundle). I felt i have been ripped off with the block settings and the roofing, so before going to plastering, i need to make sure i am not been duped again. I have received Workmanship estimate of 1.1M for plastering both in and out of the two buildings from the same guy that sets the block. (Not including Fencing). He also gave me workmanship of 450k for fencing 2 plots of land without plastering as well.
Please any Ideas, contribution, and advice will be apreciated. Please see pictures for Calculations.

Op you made a mistake since you will the one to provide the necessary materials to mold the block what you need to do ask the molder how will he collects to mold one bag of cement Ok some will tell you 900naria for a bag of cement you can now bring down to 700naria to mold a bag of cement with this archive a result, secondly look for another molder ask how he collect to mold a bag thanks

House please I need your opinion on how much you think is the price to mold a 9inch Hollow block on a site... I will be the one to provide the sand and the cement and water.. all they will provide is Services I.e machine/Engine for the blocks and Labor... i contacted some one today and he told me for him to mold a piece of block while a provide the sand and cement/water it will be #130 per a piece and he can produce 40piece for a bag of cement.. which means if I want to mold 100bags = 3000 Blocks I will have to pay him 390,000 plus the fact that I still be the one to buy the 100 bags of cement and provide the sand...

So guys please what’s your take on this .. because when I did my calculations with all cost I think the total amount I will spend for just molding 3000 blocks will be ridiculous and doesn’t make much sense to me ...

The soil is excellent for building, especially in the rocky zones which account for over 95% of Enugu. But the downside is the cost of excavation. These workers are charging me over N2,000 to dig each partition, and another N1,000 for each column base. That's high.

Timtol:
This building shouldn't trespass 15m for carcass but what's on ground is 16.2m which even seem impossible to complete,labour is higher than Lekki Lagos,materials and many more.

As we always ensure the client buys his materials himself and even some part of workmanship for perfect transparency and we are spending much higher, only cement is fair here so far...

If the design is well noted, you will notice we have cantilever on the lintel which such design is scarce and to last long it must be cast-in-situ(R.C) and two primary purpose is to serve as shade and aesthetics,in this case increase the cost a bit on both iron,sand, granite, cement,workmanship as well.
