bennyflipy:Your points are in order. There won't be any hiding place for them. |
Feldie:We will have to wait and see...May God spare our lives, and Biden no go drop dead. ![]() |
bennyflipy:By who? ![]() |
Melagros:Except the Chairmen are mumu enough to remain under the grip of the Governors, they have no choice. The money goes straight to the Local Govts' accounts |
bennyflipy:Historical, back to the days when Primary School teachers are paid by the LG Chairmen, what we see today of how Governors owe workers is a child's play compared with the atrocity committed against Primary School teachers by those Chairmen. I hope I am wrong, but we will have to brace for the positive and negative impacts. |
Welcomed development...but i fear for primary school teachers. Now, EFCC go get petitions tire. ![]() |
You can't blame the man, apart from his early stage of dementia, those two names are always in his subconscious, they are the names that keep him up at night, and when he manages to sleep, he sees them in his dreams. Poor Joe. Although I am a fan of the Blues, it's kinda a little too late for the Democrats to have a solid replacement now, except something drastic happens, Trump is America's next President. Because as it stands, I see many more of these bloopers in the future. |
This should be followed by INEC conducting the LG elections. Not that it will be free and fair, but it will be better than with the State controlled electoral bodies in charge. |
Hmm |
It can't be real, the legal terminologies used are kinda crooked. I might be wrong though. But yes, if it happened for real, I won't be surprised. Most whites don't see sex as a big deal, they get down with total strangers at will, not to mention their colleagues on a regular, with no strings attached. Except of course, getting pregnant for another besides their man. |

DomPerignon:I don't know which tree you fell from, it is either the tree didn't nurture you well or you just chose not to heed. Must you call people names before you can air your opinion? Where exactly did I bring tribe into this discourse? I was talking about issues bedevilling the nation across board, not about a particular tribe, if you can't wrap your head around that, then just dey your lane. |
DomPerignon:If I guess correctly, you are obviously Yoruba, and I am Yoruba too. So nah own goal to score on this one. Still, I am not one of those blinded by tribalism, and I know the truth is bitter. Whether we agree or not, it doesn't change the facts on ground about the issues I raised. As long as the gap between the rich and the masses continue to widen, and life continues to be unbearable for the common man, crime rates will increase astronomically. Most who go into crimes, just like those who go through the deserts and Mediterranean Sea to access better life, do so as last resort. And these last resorts are the attributes of a man whose country has failed him, and has lost all glimpse of hope. And to answer your questions, crimes know no skin colour or tribe, for any one imprisoned Nigerian in any country of the world, there are over 100 or serving for more grievous crimes. |
Gregorystarrrr:I would rather wish for the end of the root causes, corruption, wealth inequality and abject poverty. |
You sure sey no be Dino or him pikin dey inside that toy? ![]() |
Seun362:She's currently injured |
Maybe be not the hunger per se, e fit be hunger-related stress |
Well, the increase in remittance is not far-fetched, it is as a result of the hyperinflation affecting the Nigerian economy. For example, a mother you used to send 200k to for monthly upkeep now needs triple of that to sustain her upkeep from a year earlier. Also in the same vain, those in the diaspora too needs to work like horses to meet up with these new demands and keep up with their own bills too. E dey touch everybody so to a large extent, it is nothing to rejoice about. lionshare: hmohammed: allthingsgood:For all of you mentioning me, it is okay to disagree with me but I still stand by my position. We shouldn't just look at this news on face value, it has deep meanings and causants. It is just common sense economics. 1. Not that those in diaspora necessarily had an increment in their monthly pay, but they are forced to send more due to the new realities back home. 2. Due to the weakness of the Naira they can even send the same amount, but it will be more than it was a year ago. E.g 100 dollars was about 40k naira early last year, but it is now about 160k naira. 3. Not to mention they now need to send more home to meet family obligations. 4. It would have been a lovely news if there wasn't hyperinflation, the economy would have benefited from it hugely.

The food I crave the most right now is Ewa Agoyin and succulent bread directly for the backery. 😋 It's been over 10 years since I last ate it, all my attempts to make it at home has been futile till date, never got it right. 😅
|
Peluire:Good for him, because if he doesn't change, the only thing that will be bottled is his football career. |
Nah this one dem dey link with Arsenal, Arteta no dey fancy this kain player o. |
This Onuachu nah turkey aswear, an absolute waste of space. 😅 No jump power, no ball control, nothing. Indeed, some people are just divinely favoured to make a living from some professions. |
Naija football lovers, oya go and dust your calculators, that's if we will even be needing them at all. 😅 |
Freshtruth:There is nothing, but they pay local coaches in Naira, 5m max, but foreigners are paid in dollars with monthly kickbacks as agreed with the expatriate before appointment. So you do the maths. |
Freshtruth:You don't get it, the NFF purposely appointed Finidi due ro pressure from very powerful Nigerians, including the CEO of Airpeace (official carrier of the team), knowing he would fail and then give them the moral ground to employ a foreigner. |
9JAMac10:Very funny, can we afford "the best European coach possible"? Even some of the half baked ones we managed to appoint to manage the team are still being owed till date. |
Freshtruth:The main reason why they left Finidi in charge, because they know he can't perform. They want Nigerians to be the ones to start crying that they sign a foreigner, that's where their gain is, they won't see much money with a local coach in charge. |
Shocking to say the least, somebody will queried for this. It is not the players' fault but the organisers or whoever told them to play it. It can only happen outside Nigeria though. Not that the boys are playing any better though...very shambolic pieces of ****. Trailing 2-1 against Benin |
omotola90:I pray so ![]() |
omotola90:On paper, yes. In fact, we suppose dey top the group on paper, but the reality is obvious for all to see. |
We just dey lick draw soup dey go. 😅 At this rate, we might be needing calculators towards the end. Anything but victory against Nigeria's team B (Benin), we should kiss the World Cup goodbye. |
