Logicboy03: Lol......strawman....we are talking about corruption in business. The UK ranks far above Nigeria on that issue.

Thanks for stretching it as if I was saying that the whole UK is good and the whole Nigeria is bad......I told you, please think before you attack me.

proevan: Sure go ahead.
changed my mind.

Face; triangular, their have a strong jawline which I think determines the kind of a man he is, eyes should be those big eyes and thick eyebrows, pointy nose and high cheekbone. Lips? Full round lips... lipsrsealed He should keep not keep his hair, the head should always be shaved, I don't want to compete with my man when it comes to his hair! angry God forbid. His skin color; I love dark chocolate skin, and it should be very dark.

He should be taller than me in a way that my head should be able to rest on his chest on a standing position, six pack is a must o angry . He should be mr gym, the kinda guy that will drag his wife alone to the gym, the kinda guy that can carry me upstairs to our room if I fall asleep in the lounge.

Dresscode; please, this pants low ankle sneakers, gold teeth, heavy chains, tinted mawhawk bulgy shirts look is a drab....Skinny jeans, colour blocking carvel, escurl, floral tight printed t-shirts makes me wanna puke! He should be a gentleman, on a normal day, jeans and golf t-shirt would do. He should love fashion, be smart and presentable.

He should be witty, not an introvert please coz I am so it won't work. He should be able to handle me o, I am one wahala loving lady, he should be able to calm me down and not walk away. He should always have my back, even if I am wrong, he should know how to handle the situation and talk to me when I have cooled down. I hate a man who would say 'whatever' when I have wronged him.

A man of God, actually a man after God's own heart, he should be able to bring me closer to God than to himself. A friend, a brother, a father and a teacher.

I will add some later

HBG, stop it. Always attacking me without thinking through......

When you run a biz in Nigeria, you can challenege me. I wear the shoe and I know where it pinches.
See how you paint Uk white and Nigeria black?

Why? And please I do not have anything against you.

Logicboy03: In practice and theory in business management, there are external factors beyond your control. Some may even arise without your involvement- externalities.

Example- the zoning of electricity and the construction of roads.

You buy a cheap land for your business in a developing area. You find that the govt is building roads and developing the area. So, you start building your house.

First problem- in Lagos, you have Omo-niles (I dont speak yoruba but i think it means children of land) who come to disturb you. You either have to settle them or use soldiers/police men who are not from the area to scare them away. Both options are corrupt. I havent worked with construction in many years, so I dont know if the govt has stopped these omo-niles

Second problem- you find that the govt contractor who was doing the roads did not finish them and left many roads incomplete due to corruption. Your business needs access. What do you do? You have to use some financial influence to the contractor and local govt department to get your own particalr road done....to hell with the other roads incomplete lol

Third problem- they didnt put the NEPA or PHCN electricity cables to reach your side and the phases are not correct. You can complain to the PHCN company which would take forever- leaving your business in darkness for months. Bribing the workers in the dept handling your area is the way forward becuase if you even complain to their bosses, there is so much red tape and bureaucracy that the low level worker will still punish you with intentional slow work. The Jesus option to avoid this nonsense corruption is to go full solar energy. Millions of naira or thousands of pounds. Solar energy is expensive

There is also the problem with your building plan registration. Those civil servants will frustrate you.

This is only the tip of the iceberg....
your trying so hard to justify corruption and overshadow it with things we can avoid. Corruption is corruption nomatter how you may look at it.

totalbaby: Much better smiley. Firstly i believe that before you get married, one should date their partner for a reasonable period of time(+/-2years) so as to really get to know him/her, their likes, dislikes, beliefs, habits, communication skills, ideology, religion etc to see if you are on par with one another.

Secondly, oftentimes men consider marrying a woman hoping she never changes, while a woman considers marrying a man she hopes she can change. This is the wrong approach on both accounts. Don’t assume that you can change a person after you’re married to them or that they will reach their potential. There is no guarantee, after all, that those changes will be for the better. In fact, it’s often for the worse. If you can’t accept someone or imagine living with them as they are then don’t marry them.

Someone once told me that " the only thing u need in a partner is emotional intelligence...thats it...u can never find someone thats perfect in every category...u should look at who u are, and chose someone that can accept that"

Act 2 scene 2

Enters Uju, Hbg and dagr8. Its evening, all tired, lazy to cook and decide to eat cereals, after doing the dishes they relax in the lounge watching cartoons.

Hbg: How was your day guys?

dagr8: (glued to his laptop.) Had a tiring day, my system crashed without noticing me. sad

Uj_sizzle: Hian dagr8 can it talkhuh

Hbg: cheesy you two are crazy, so who's lappy is that dagr8huh

dagr8: Uju it cannot talk, I was just disappointed because I lost some important files. Grace, I borrowed it from one Dangote wannabe at the Business Management department.

Uj_sizzle: Aw take heart eh, it is well.

dagr8: Thanks Uju. smiley

Hbg: I don't like the fact that you borrowed the lappy though.

dagr8: I had no choice, I have to work rememberhuh

Uj_sizzle: Yeah, a man gotta do what a man gotta do. (There is an unusual noise outside.) Who could that be?

Hbg: You must be hearing things Uju, dagr8 did you hear anything?

dagr8: No. (There is a knock at the door followed by a male voice; Praise the Lord! ) Hold on, I am coming.

(Enters Redmosquito)

Your welcome my brother.

Redmosquito: Praise the Lord!!

Hbg: Hmm, I wonder which ocean current carried you to this side of the island.

Redmosquito: What do you mean joor?

Uj_sizzle: We are just suprised you came, so who told you we moved from the arts hostels?

Hbg: He is bored, can't live in this uni without us, that's why he is here.

Redmosquito: I sniffed ya scent, minion helped me a little you see. cool
My apologise eh, embarassed I forgot I am in a church. Oya praise the Lord!

Uj_sizzle: Behave, or I will bring my mosquito coil and matches this minute.

Redmosquito: (kneeling besides Uju's feet.) I am so sorry my Prietess, make I leave una in peace. (Exit Redmosquito.)

Hbg: Uju and dagr8 I am out of here, good night.

dagr8: I should leave too, good night ladies.

Hbg&Uj_sizzle: Good night dear.

(Exit dagr8)

Hbg: (in a hushed tone.) So, how did it go with 'you know who?'

Uj_sizzle: Fine.

Hbg: Finehuh Spill joor.

Uj_sizzle: Ok, we hooked up after the morning class, went out to kfc, argh. Its not important anymore.

Hbg: You went out? shocked wow, so what does he drive? Is he well off?

Uj_sizzle: (annoyed.) Drive kehuh We had to board an okada to town. All that glitters isn't always gold dear. Worst part was when he asked me to pay for the food, saying his card had been declined. angry

Hbg: I think it would be best if we go to the diary section, you need to cool off.

Uj_sizzle: yea, I just hope I don't see him there, I might just puke all over the place.

Hbg: I hope I don't see 'you know who.' two, he is all over the place pretending like nothing happened.

Uj_sizzle: Those are our pasts, let's focus on our new beginings, our own house, our friendship and put everything in God's hands. smiley

Hbg: Your too much Uju, I am glad we met. grin

Uj_sizzle:All thanks to God for Seun right?

Hbg: Seun neh? Hmm I envy some people sha. Anyway, I think we should lock up, yahoo boys are all over the place you know.

Uj_sizzle: shocked shocked shocked Really? I thought they were not allowed inside the University? undecided

Hbg: They are not. The thing is they come in like the rest of us so its hard to pin point them.

Uj_sizzle: Wow! shocked (checks the doors and windows.) I think dagr8 locked up before he retired to his room.

Hbg: That reminds me, where is Reyginus? And Seyibrown?

Uj_sizzle: I cannot trace them, I think they disconnected their trackers.

Hbg: With Reyginus, you never know. He came drunk yesterday, I wonder how he keeps up.

Uj_sizzle: He is well known around here, he is like a skipo so maybe he had too much on his plate.

Hbg: I pray he is not at the bar. sad

Uj_sizzle: Relax, he is a big boy he can take care of himself.

Hbg: I know, I know. The thing is we have to have twenty people before fortnight and if we don't, the house will be given to other groups.

Uj_sizzle: That's ridiculous! angry

Hbg: I know, but rules are rules. Remember we asked for it to be among the stikied houses so that Christians will be able to locate us easily?

Uj_sizzle: Yea, all is well. Good night. smiley

//Act 2 scene 1//

Its 6am Uj_sizzle and HumbledbyGrace are cleaning the house, putting finishing touches here and there. And trying to get everything done before their classes resume for the day.

Uj_sizzle: Grace!

Hbg: Huh?

Uj_sizzle: I think I am going to be sick, my throat is kinda sore. sad

Hbg: Oh dear, on our first morning in this house? Should I get you something at the health wing?

Uj_sizzle: I will be fine, let's get this done. We are expecting visitors, will ask Obinoscopy to bring me something. I am going to meet up with him at the Diary Campus.

Hbg: I have heard a little about the guy, what's up with him?

Uj_sizzle: Argh nothing, he is just a nice guy.

Hbg: Ok, let me go and put some fresh teabags in the kettle, people might pop in when we least expect them.

Uj_sizzle: you do that. smiley

(Hbg goes to the kitchen leaving Uju in the sitting room. A young man arrives.)

Acidosis: Good morning ma'am Uju

Uj_sizzle: Good morning dear.

Acidosis: I saw your name on the fliers advertising this place, I thought I could pop by and check on you.

Uj_sizzle: That's sweet of you. Been busy since weekend and I am not feeling fine this morning.

Acidosis: sad It is well, get well soon, and take it easy with the work load.

Uj_sizzle: Thank you dear. Gracie, we have a visitor.

Hbg: (from the kitchen.) Who is it?

Uj_sizzle: Grace!

Acidosis: Humbledbygrace I am no visitor in your house, its Acidosis.

Uj_sizzle: (To Acidosis.) Its your first time here, let us make you some tea please.

Hbg: (From the kitchen.) Yes na, sit down, I am making some tea.

Acidosis: Ladies, I am late for class. Thank you for you kind offer, will have to do this some other time.

Uj_sizzle: sad Ok, another time then. Go well.

Acidosis: Take care of yourself ma'am. Hbg, see you around. (He leaves colliding with a lady at the door going in the GR house.)

Seyibrown: (At the door.) Knock, knock.

Uj_sizzle: Come in.

Seyibrown:Nice place you got here, wow. Who would have though? Can I join?

Hbg:Welcome ma'am.(There is a knock at the door, enters dagr8, pulling a big suitcase, beaming.)

dagr8: grin OMG! shocked this place is awesome. So ladies, where is my room? undecided I hope I am not late?

UJ_sizzle: grin grin grin Its never too late to join the big family of God. Hope you will enjoy your stay here.

Hbg: (rushes from the kitchen to give dagr8 a hug.) Stranger, where have you been? I missed you. tongue

Seyibrown:Wetin be this nahuh Hbg where is my hughuh

Uj_sizzle:Knock it off guy, dagr8 and Seyi let me show you guys to your room while Hbg prepare breakfast for you.

Hbg:No, I have a lecture, Uju tongue
I am out of here.

(Exit Hbg.)

Uj_sizzle: dagr8 and Seyi as you both can see our house has twenty rooms which means only twenty people will stay here. No sharing is allowed, its a school rule even though we would have loved to share. The first floor, downstairs is for the guys as they tend to be the noisy ones. We have Reyginus already occupying one room down there though I doubt he will stay for long as he says he doesn't live in one place for more than two months.

Everyone will have his/her own key for the main door and their room. We only have one laundry room so we will do laundry in turns to avoid stampede as the room is just a size of a matchbox.

Cooking and cleaning will be done in pairs, everyone will clean, so we don't want guys telling us cooking is for women only.

We will have the rules and cleaning time table as soon as we reach the expected number because we have to submit them to the professors around here who will have to approve and then assign someone to check on us on daily basis.

Please the rooms which are yet to be occupied are not locked so feel free to choose rooms you like. The keys are at the back of every door. I have to go too, make sure you lock up when you leave the house. I will be coming back with Hbg.

( The three exit to different directions.)
