comodo:Lol.... bro both are on a tie. that MFM goalie was miserable all through. especially against Brazil. |
Icon4s:you didn't even mention Uruguay and Italy... it seems Oga icon..you've not been watching those teams |
Icon4s:the worst goalie ever was the manu garba boy in Newzealand WYC... I wonder the agreement he had with him..to keep playing him despite his outing. that team was the most clinical under 20 I have ever seen from Nigeria...the goals were coming...but the goal keeper spoilt their efforts... that guy was so miserable...I know then he has no future with the super eagles... |
andrew444:before the start of the match...he already tipped Tijani to shine through the match... so by his stand...Tijani lived up to expectations...he did excellently well... I won't be surprised he does same prior the next march and after the match he hails him again.... almost everyone that watched the match...saw how useless he was in front of goal....but Oga Basco saw something else.... |
forgiveness:there is no perfect transparent system in the world..... |
minfelix:if this guys make it to the Qfinal... I don't know what to say because deep down I know it won't happen... they may likely meet Uruguay, Argentina, Senegal etc.... next week. those are teams that know their left from their right |
forgiveness:okay...then why haven't the Kalika coaching a national team na? I don't have problem with getting someone like that to help out...I wish Aigbogun did same...by now we won't have had this many problem with the under 20 team |
andrew444:Lol..he looks lazy... he really need to work extra hard to make it to highest level. let just remove mind from him after all we have strikers abound in the super eagles for now....even Akpom is there waiting for a call up.. that will come when he clock 29 years old... |
jihday:awwww...don't think I can remember much then... thanks for this .but the Africa team in that tourney especially Morocco was skilful and they even beat Brazil in the 3rd place match |
andrew444:Lol and the Rio Jenero Olympic in Brazil recently....? Buhari was the secret of the latter. |
andrew444:Bros wetin you say may I talk nahhh? imagine say you get club may e go sign that kind player nor be how to offload am you go dey think... you go first threaten your Club/Sporting Director. that guy is nowhere at all |
forgiveness:tell me something else please... I currently work in a company where 90% of our vendors are foreigners and technical partners same... so relating with them...have made me know that they're still people who keep to their words and treasure loyalty beyond meagre gains..... they're not as corrupt and wicked as Nigerians |
forgiveness:and also the secret behind the Olympic team of 2018 and the Olympic team of Rio Jenero Brazil ? let's just acknowledge it...all Siasia is good cadet team coach...very attacking minded |
andrew444:may be he just joined them or he currently play for their reserve team... the club should start thinking of selling him to a Saudi club even if it is a division 2 club so as to recup their money back... |
jihday:not really...I think they lost concentration in that match |
andrew444:most of the players coach Austin took to the nation's cup in 2006 and they delivered... they play well if not for inexperience that caught up with them against ivory coast and okocha claim of big boy simply because he played with Austin before.... he was not humble enough to allow him coach him... he never feature not until Drogba scored an off side goal |
andrew444:if it was that team that played this match...I have no doubt they would have won like 4 nil... that' team was complete and skilful.... remember how they won Ukraine in the round of 16 self.... |
forgiveness:you think every nationals are like Nigerians...? just because corruption lives in the mind of 7/10 Nigerians does not mean it is same in other countries. |
andrew444:God forbid...I even feel sorry for his club... that guy is nothing else.... |
BascoVanVeli:can you compare rohr seriousness on the job to any of our indigenous coaches so far...? can you compare his backroom staffs to that of our indigenous coaches thus far?. can you compare his extra effort and his personal scouts to that of our indigenous coaches thus far? and mind you this man pay most of these men from his salary.... If you're conversant with his interviews he hasn't ruled out the possibility of going back to club coaching preferably Bordeaux..... so it is well to say....He sees the super eagles as a means to an end and not an end in itself.... it's like you didn't read my post very well.... let me tell you...most foreign coaches take up national team coaching jobs to enhance their CV so as to make it easy for them to get club coaching jobs.... but that not to be with Nigerians.... |
elyte89:defending and supporting this team is not easy at all.... because to be honest the team carries slim hope.... |
Icon4s:but the coach is not seeing it from the positive side nah. he delights in hurting our eyes and emotions.... Tijani today was an eyesore.....it is was if the coach was Tijani agent hence the need to market him by all means...even left him to take the 2nd penalty... |
Icon4s:this you don't change a winning team is outdated please. are you gonna compare the US and Qatar...everyone knows even the second 11 will whip teams like Qatar,Tahiti and Honduras etc...it is a know fact for the fact a team wins a match does not mean the tape should not be re-watched and necessary changes should not be made prior the next march... |
elyte89:but the coach is thinking more of his pockets than the future.... he is not even thinking of winning the tourney ..... that's the ambitious thing I talk about. a more serious minded coach...will replay the tapes over and over again...take down notes and key points...work on them in training and try out players during training to see if they suit his tactics...but the coach is daft... other than to subject the players to hectic and highly intensive training |
BascoVanVeli:but I am not a coach na. the ones amongst them that are ambitious ain't scared to take up opportunities elsewhere outside the country...e.g amuneke rather than sit tight hoping for the national team job. if you're a coach please aim high and refuse compromise all because of few dollar notes... wanna see a Nigerian coach European teams someday in top leagues... |
forgiveness:they think more about their future than indigenous coaches... foreign coaches aim to use the national team job to get a club coaching job... that's their aim and as a result they often choose to make sacrifices just to attain their long term goals... but indigenous coaches don't think far...all they see is the national team and their pockets...should they loss their job...they will be hovering around till they're appointed again base on sentiments of being indigenous coach...and the cycle of failure continues... they rarely do have ambition |
DrLikita12:exactly Dear...... the problem with this team is the attack and nothing else....fix the front line and watch this team do the unimaginable |
jihday:experience ke? what's the essence of the friendlies and the nations cup if not to help them gain experience... Tijani with all his experience and many NPFL players there...what do they have to deliver? please experience don't really count much at this stage...all the players are almost in same level.... what matters now what they have in their socks... many of the foreign players are not playing for the first team of their clubs but in the academics and feeders teams.... the coach messed up... |
forgiveness:bro...it is not a good idea.. but what else do you expect when the indigenous coaches are corrupt and clueless. just take a look at Aigbogun for instance... |
forgiveness:that's why we opt for foreign coach... the money used to hire Thomas Dennerby for the super falcons would have been used to hire an under 20 foreign coach.... the super falcons for now don't need a foreign coach |
DrLikita12:the team lacks bite In the attack... and one will expect the coach to try out other options in the attack... play the chinonso kid.. let's see what he has to offer...but the dummy coach will not play him.. I have no doubt there is something fishy happening behind these players and the coach.... |
DrLikita12:exactly Dear... if only they know what awaits them in the round of 16... they will be playing against one of the best team in the tournament.... |
