Mali lost 3-2 to France.

Teams to watch out for in this tournament: France, Argentina and the USA. I would have included Senegal but we know who they are: Perennial underachievers, they capitulate when it matters most.
you didn't even mention Uruguay and Italy...
it seems Oga icon..you've not been watching those teams

Oremade to me is better than most of the U20 goalies we have had in like the last 3-4 tournaments. Just take a trip memory lane. U can watch videos of our previous U20 WC outings to help u out.

Definitely there is still room for improvement.
the worst goalie ever was the manu garba boy in Newzealand WYC...
I wonder the agreement he had with him..to keep playing him despite his outing.
that team was the most clinical under 20 I have ever seen from Nigeria...the goals were coming...but the goal keeper spoilt their efforts...

that guy was so miserable...I know then he has no future with the super eagles...

Oga basco I don't know what you are trying to prove o ,tijani is poor but it seems you are finding it hard to accept that because he won 2 penalty

Even if tijani miss the 2 penalty I won't criticize him ,but tijani has nothing to offer as a footballer if I am to judge by this game against Ukraine
before the start of the match...he already tipped Tijani to shine through the match...

so by his stand...Tijani lived up to expectations...he did excellently well...

I won't be surprised he does same prior the next march and after the match he hails him again....

almost everyone that watched the match...saw how useless he was in front of goal....but Oga Basco saw something else....

If mikel team dominated brazil(0-0) lost to korea 2-1 and dominated Switzerland...Then we can also say dis team also dominated qatar and lost to USA, whether u guys like or not after ukraine scored their goal, we played dem half field till the end of d game if not for poor finishing we wld av beaten dis Ukrainian black blue.. im still wondering why both USA n Ukraine managed a meagre 1-0 against qatar.. they are over aged(me no go argue dat 1) but i wil b here to c ppls view if dis guys breeze in to d q/final
if this guys make it to the Qfinal...
I don't know what to say because deep down I know it won't happen...
they may likely meet Uruguay, Argentina, Senegal etc....
next week.
those are teams that know their left from their right

I don't have problem with getting someone like that to help out...I wish Aigbogun did same...by now we won't have had this many problem with the under 20 team

most of the players coach Austin took to the nation's cup in 2006 and they delivered...
they play well if not for inexperience that caught up with them against ivory coast and okocha claim of big boy simply because he played with Austin before....

he was not humble enough to allow him coach him... he never feature not until Drogba scored an off side goal

Why isn't Rohr coaching in France he has had enough jobs in Africa so that should show that he is not ambitious according to oga Humility017
can you compare rohr seriousness on the job to any of our indigenous coaches so far...?

can you compare his backroom staffs to that of our indigenous coaches thus far?.

can you compare his extra effort and his personal scouts to that of our indigenous coaches thus far?
and mind you this man pay most of these men from his salary....

If you're conversant with his interviews he hasn't ruled out the possibility of going back to club coaching preferably Bordeaux.....

so it is well to say....He sees the super eagles as a means to an end and not an end in itself....

it's like you didn't read my post very well....

let me tell you...most foreign coaches take up national team coaching jobs to enhance their CV so as to make it easy for them to get club coaching jobs....

but that not to be with Nigerians....

Even if Ogbu was fit ahead of the USA game, players selection 101 says u don't change a winning team. Especially as the team won by 4:0. There is that tendency to start same defense line especially as they kept a clean sheet. If Ogbu had played that US game and we lost by that 2:0 he would probably had been dropped for this game.
this you don't change a winning team is outdated please.

are you gonna compare the US and Qatar...everyone knows even the second 11 will whip teams like Qatar,Tahiti and Honduras etc...it is a know fact

for the fact a team wins a match does not mean the tape should not be re-watched and necessary changes should not be made prior the next march...

Anyway,u made good points, but as for me,d coach hasn't gotten d right selection, dts d bane of dis team on dis tournament... If u look @ dt eletu peter,he showed some flashes of a brilliant left footed midfielder... Paul shld get d combination right, and we re gud to go smiley
but the coach is thinking more of his pockets than the future....
he is not even thinking of winning the tourney .....

that's the ambitious thing I talk about.

a more serious minded coach...will replay the tapes over and over again...take down notes and key points...work on them in training and try out players during training to see if they suit his tactics...but the coach is daft...

other than to subject the players to hectic and highly intensive training

So u don't have ambition? Because you're indigenous aren't you?
but I am not a coach na.

the ones amongst them that are ambitious ain't scared to take up opportunities elsewhere outside the country...e.g amuneke rather than sit tight hoping for the national team job.
if you're a coach please aim high and refuse compromise all because of few dollar notes...
wanna see a Nigerian coach European teams someday in top leagues...

Foreign coach dey collect bribe. Abi no be human being?
they think more about their future than indigenous coaches...
foreign coaches aim to use the national team job to get a club coaching job...

that's their aim and as a result they often choose to make sacrifices just to attain their long term goals...

but indigenous coaches don't think far...all they see is the national team and their pockets...should they loss their job...they will be hovering around till they're appointed again base on sentiments of being indigenous coach...and the cycle of failure continues...

they rarely do have ambition

see no matter the brush, if they don't have the experience there's nothing anybody can do I believe there are genuine young professionals in our league just that the coach wasn't painstaking enough in his search
experience ke?
what's the essence of the friendlies and the nations cup if not to help them gain experience...
Tijani with all his experience and many NPFL players there...what do they have to deliver?

please experience don't really count much at this stage...all the players are almost in same level....

what matters now what they have in their socks...
many of the foreign players are not playing for the first team of their clubs but in the academics and feeders teams....

the coach messed up...

Aigbogun has done a terrible job. This team needs work. It seems he's unable to select decent players, read a game or make proper substitutions.

they will be playing against one of the best team in the tournament....
