It seems Rohr need Nigeria most than we need him. Rohr is very gentle and calm Not all coaches will take this bullcrap even the least competent coaches The way Pinnick runs NFF with his team is a very sorry one in all honesty |

Joebie: Super Eagles Chief Scout, Tunde Adelakun:
“Nationality switch is very complicated. A player who was born in a country perhaps has been developed by the country where he or she was born to get to a point where he or she is being courted by one or two nations. It will always be difficult.
“Some of them only know the UK as a home for instance. Because that’s where they grew up. So they need to be softly convinced to jump ship. Makes it more complicated when they have played at one age-grade level for the European country where they were born. They need to write a letter unequivocally stating that they want to come to play for Nigeria, and that by writing that letter, they have given up their rights to ever play for their country of birth.
“That can be really scary for a young player. But they do. Then they need to prove their Nigerian citizenship. By having a passport of their own or at least for one of their parents to have a valid Nigerian passport. This proof of citizenship is key,”
“We also have to request from the nation’s FA (England and the home countries if the player is from the UK) asking them to give a no-objection verification to the NFF for the release of the player. Sometimes this is difficult because the said FA might still feel they potentially could do with the player’s services in the future.
“It’s when we get the no-objection confirmation that we can put it all together in a package and submit to FIFA for their approval,” Well understood But they need to do better They should push more not enough reason to explain why a player like olise opt for algeria instead of nigeria |

TheSuperNerd: Rohr salaries being cleared: Finally gets his pay
So reports dropping this morning say Gernot Rohr has been paid 5 months dues out of the 8 months he's being owed.
This is according to Arise TV reports.
A few quote 6months salaries paid, but Oganla puts it at 5months salaries paid (quoting Arise TV) with 3 months salaries payment to go. Better but the nff need to try do better No man deserve to be owned salaries |

TheSuperNerd: Based on the players in camp, it is very likely the lineup we should expect.
The shocker will be Iheanacho not getting to start if this comes true.
Onyeka over Bonke for me as DM. That is the right call. He is the bonafide Ndidi backup and should not even be paired alongside Ndidi unless when playing less fancied or less tactical teams.
Onyeka-Aribo-Iwobi could be the midfield against CAR and I trust they should be able to do enough to get us over the line.
Only change could see Iheanacho come in and Iwobi moved to the left with one of Simon/Kalu dropping to the bench. Time will tell.
Also, It would be the first time Onyeka plays DM (in the GWG) if he indeed starts and I would be paying close attention to his role because Ndidi needs a backup and he is my crowned backup to Ndidi. This would be his first test in the role in the GWG. You've said it all Nerdy But it all depends on what Onyeka does with the opportunity in his hands and more so, we have other kinds coming up like Lesley in France |

mostob: Gbas gbos everywhere...
I posted sometimes ago about how our NT is made up of our very own players who we nurtured...I was referring to the likes of Victor, Kelechi, Ndidi and co...
Olise will no doubt add quality to our midfield but that doesn't mean we should start wailing because he choose Algeria over Nigeria.
What we need to do is for NFF to go back to the drawing board and reshape our grassroot football. I'm 100% sure more quality players will emerge.
Now for those saying Nigeria is a bigger footballing brand than Algeria so Olise should play for us...with due respect that's an ignorant statement. There are many things to consider before choosing a country you want to play with... I can bet those saying these will not allow their ward to play for Nigeria when you consider the current state of the nation. Chriskel was right, you all should stop tagging his view as political. Sport is a sector of the economy. If the economy is shaky, it will affect our football.
Make we forget Olise and concentrate on our OWN. Amoo is not doing bad in Sweden. Talents are emerging here and there.
How sure are we that this Olise will give his ALL if he decides to play for us.
We move The Pinnick led NFF is not ready to develop grassroot foot ball.... he is good at getting sponsors for the teams but grassroots football he is falling in that regard and may keep failing One way u develop grassroot football is by appointing sound and passionate coaches for the cadet teams...having some One like Equaveon, Aigbogun and Ladan Bosso manage cadet teams shows regression. Just imagine the talents harnessed during Miagari time in NFF compare to Pinnick and now read he is working for possibility of a 3rd term Meaning we're in for a long ride Can someone explain to me the role of the NFF first vice president Mr. Seyi i quite understand Mr. Dikko role in LMC what's that Seyi role Sometimes we blame PINNICK how about the inactive politician that suppose to be working with him in ideas qnd implementation to develop our football |

PurpleHouse: Very proud people.
I have won so much in life due to humility and Negotiation strategies. Even the queen of my life that guys could not talk to due to her too much beauty and ikebe, as they were scared of rejection, I patiently toasted her sweetly for months only to realize she was even a Virgin. Na me win last last.
Learning how to talk, negotiate, communicate, and compassionate is a skill many Nigerians lack. Wa want am now now. That's where failure start.
If Rohr had don the needful like you rightly pointed out, all the FBs we approach, given enough time, will play for us. But he does it with no seriousness. Just blabbing via newspapers.
Go see the young man, he was probably waiting for you. But no!!! So much to learn in life Having a good bargaining and negotiation skills speaks volume. I have built my mind to the extent that i can get anything i desire if i persist long enough except God does not want me have it Well we just have to hope the Lad make a U-turn or we have to move on I think it would have been worse if the team was managed by a Nigerian Indigenous coaches they always believes one player they're trying to market from kano pillars js way better than a crystal palace player and will rarely reach out to this lads but expect them to reach out him and the corrupt ones wjll want them to grease his palms prior they get call ups sef |

PurpleHouse: Business and Negotiation is a skill that I learned from Donald Trump. No. We should never beg anyone. Just make them an offer they cannot refuse.
Nff and Rohr say back expecting him to think it through when Algeria were busy doing all the dirty job. I reckon many if you laughed initially and mockef Algeria that theyll never get him. Well, here we go. The ones who wanted it the most, wit the best offer, got him.
Rohr is the fault here. I bet if dude was in Germany he would have done more to get him. But he allowed him slip away because we failed to paint am offer to him and make him see reasons to play for us. And yes, begging too is allowed. Begging not in a beggars way, but with a carrot offer that promises a win-win for both parties.
Algeria did that perfectly. Nigerians are so proud I have seen and read many of this super countries in football lure talents. If I was the coach would have meet with him, assure him of how i so mucb need his presence in my team, even have dinner with his family, check up on him via mails and sometimes give him advice and encouragement on how to improve his games. Like u said Rohr wasn't interested in him much at all because if he really showed interest and we move towards him like Algeria did we would have had him at ease |

PurpleHouse: You completely got it wrong bro. I feel most of us are pained because we could have as well have him. But I think the more serious side did, while we were hoping. We didnt negotiate or offer him reasons like Algeria did. They literally got in touch with every single one of his family members. Now thats how you know who Wants you most. Well said Those who are manning office positions in the NFF are simply ignorant of their roles If u really want someone u go after them |

Yeah Think the way NFf treats this players contribute Owning players for months even at that NFF need set up a special scout aim at recruiting this good foreign born players right before they come to limelight and at the same time set up system to harness home grown talents at a very tender age The truth is many of our football administrators are corrupt with no intention to develop the system but to loot and enrich themselves |

But when we've reached out and the players decide to go with their head or minds whichever they choose, we should let them be and continue searching for others.
Not whining on what should have been.
Regarding the bold, if true, that should be a lesson to the team's out in further pursuit.
But if he is gone, he should go and not we bashing him and asking what would he have added if he were to join our team. I get you no one is bashing anyone We just feel the national team handlers didn't do enough to get him on our side Well like u said no need to hit our head over the issue |
