This is the default thinking.

These ones were just foolish enough to voice it out.

That's a foolish default mindset when they're the ones that refuse to bath daily.

You have no influence over other people's behaviour...... But when a wrong is exhibited, seek legal redress......

Let's put you in her shoes, when the tribunal awarded damages, would you reject the financial compensation........ 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

You're concentrating on the financial part too much

Entitlement is entitlement....

you don't buy coke and complain it is coke you tasted in the bottle.... was it going to be sprite?

Also, i don't think this is true in all honesty... it will always be relative

In America for example, you're one illness away from huge debt... i'm not talking small debt.. huge debt

It's not easy to determine who will marry you or make you his/her legal partner but you can get pregnant for any random guy and keep the child.

Once an individual becomes an overstayer, it is virtually impossible to regularise via the marriage route. The only open route now is human rights via a British/settled child or via private life.

The human rights route is typically a 10 year route from the date of regularisation to ILR.

10k pounds is like 90% fees in some cheep schools. Let him look for school with 12k fees or even 11k fees.

Then he should save more for house rent and feeding - - - like 8k pounds.

Good morning nairalanders, my elder brother has been complaining of tooth ache (molar tooth) since 10 years ago.
He has tried all medical and herbal ways to cure it but to no avail.
The ache will go today and will double while coming back.
There happens to be a small hole in the affected tooth.
The ache comes with a serious pain they will make him restless for days.

I am suggesting a tooth removal for him
Pls how much does it cost to remove and replace a tooth in Nigeria now
I need urgent answers pls.

Maybe 45K

Last time I did it was around 2020/2021, HMO paid but was told thats around the cost

I did some teeth cleaning and all though

Let her give birth, after 7 yrs she can use the child to regularize her stay.

Go the LGBTQ route and have the community protect you. Yes they can. Infact if you know the loopholes, you will get ILR before you say jack.

If she gives birth, why not just give birth for someone who's a citizen and have him apply for her? Or it doesnt work that way?

A friend of mine is currently overstaying her visa after she was unfortunate to get a COS. It's been 6 months of trying to stay low key as possible as she can. No Facebook presence as such, linkedl is deleted, avoid police wahala etc. Is there a way she can legalize her stay? Coming to Nigeria isn't an option for her, breadwinner of the family

Maybe marriage or someone that's on COS to do join man with

I am aware of Universities that even withdraw offers from new staff that are yet to resume late last year and early this year.

Fingers crossed.

I still think it's just shooting your nose to spite your face. When numbers plummet and shortages start again, another round of moaning and complaints will start (it already has but will worse by September)

Will be interesting grin

The media houses do not make the information explicit because it 'does not suit' their narration.

It was recently when Government wanted to raise £1 billion from visa and IHS fee that some even got to know immigrants pay for NHS too.

Mehn, lots of them are unbelievably ignorant (can't blame them).

Some of them even think students are on benefits and our govs pay us to study, one even told me we should stop taking their benefits and was surprised I have never collected £1 in benefits before (them ESA, PIP etc). Hell, in 2 years, I have only ever visited the GP for registration, never booked an appointment or anything.

I have spoken with some people who stare in disbelief when you outline what students pay to come to the UK

I wish their media houses would actually englighten them instead of writing yeye sensational news upandan

Good day, folks,

This place has been gloomy and now I am reconsidering my options.

Here is my dilemma: I have a remote contractor job that pays me $2000 per month and doesn't care about my location. I've been able to save up to $10,000. Do you think this is enough to sustain myself in the UK and pay my fees?

Why not save a bit more, like 70% of your fees before moving

Also, look at Portugal, US, Australia and Canada if you don't mind the cold. Much better options at the moment

Good morning to my people in the UK, please I have a genuine question ejor. I have combed the thread but I didn't see a particular information on it. Please how do I get a job as a biochemist from Nigeria. I see a lot of Job vacancies on Indeed but I don't know which ones will give COS or should I just keep applying?

How much do you have left?

Do you have a CC? I know people withdraw off the CC and pay their fees with it (not financial advice)

Then people would complain that the home office is splitting families ,discriminating against young families etc

You can't please everyone unless they throw open the borders and let everyone in, and even then the immigrants would complain that everywhere is so congested, London is worse than Lagos, no school or hospital places etc lol

grin

Splitting families is better than allowing 0 families
