It's, in all sincerity, preposterous. Yes, the axe is personal.. because I am here hustling in another man's land inside useless cold and these fooolish idiots who haven't' paid my mother's gratuity for 7+ years are using money to ferry a brain dead woman with plastic yansh to spend our tax money anyhow You cannot tell me the subsidy removal is for the betterment of all and we have to endure for a while but you're buying 100M naira jeeps for your band of thieves If them make me President for one day, burial ground go full |

Raalsalghul: What I meant is that if you apply to enter the Schengen area using Greece, you'll get quicker dates for appointment but the catch is that you'll only be able to use the visa once or twice (Single or Double Entry to the Schengen area) and I'm sure you'll probably prefer multiple entries as you might want to visit other countries.
So if you want to get quicker dates using Greece as entry point and at the same time get multiple entries to visit as much Schengen countries as you want, you'll have to fully book and pay for holiday in three different Schengen countries (including Greece) which will be presented to the V.O to get a high chance of getting multiple entries.
Does the above help? Yes I do Thanks! |

Greece also, though you have to have booked and paid completely for holidays in three different countries lest they just give you single or double entry. I dont understand this part o |

Jamesclooney: Most of these countries use VFS for biome/application and you can’t even create an account to book appointment in some cases. Best bet is Greece and Netherlands. Appointments are available periodically and some offered over the phone. If it’s an emergency, there are some “agents” that have priority slot and you can get an appointment with very short notice (next working day) but it costs money (£200+). If you have the luxury of time, I’d suggest keep searching online or call them up for Premium appointments. Both sound like good options I dont mind those lowkey Eu countries too.. almost everyone goes to the same places and me I go like explore something different at least if possible |

dustydee: I have been seeing similar comments. Please what magic do we expect anyone in power to do to salvage the situation? I believe the path he has chosen is the best out of the hard choices available. Things may be hard now but in my opinion, we will come out better. Unless there is true Federalism and we stop putting criminals in power, nothing will ever change Nigeria can develop swiftly within 10 yrs given the right leadership but alas... we have just refused to solve our issues for some reason no one knows |

Goodenoch: Take out the payment reference number (it starts with X and will be at the top of your simple assessment letter) and then search for 'pay HMRC' simple assessment on Google, click the page and then select to pay without logging in. You'll enter your reference number and personal details and then be able to pay, although it's a bit finicky about which card you can pay with.
I had the same issue and had been postponing calling them until I saw your question and Tier4Dependant's reply to you. Paid within 3 minutes and got confirmation to my email immediately. Thanks. Issue is that the letter was sent to my old affress. Will probably need to call them to ask for the reference number |

Ebay gives private sellers some sale promo every two weeks, so you take home more when you sale an item but if your profit goes above £1000 HRMC may get interested. HMRC, nawa for them! Thanks! |

Regarding resale... last yr when S23 came out my mate helped me to buy 4 because his company has a partnership with Samsung and they get 15% discount, Adidas voucher worth £300 and cashback reward.
I pretty much trade-in all the old Samsung in the house for new ones, so i resale them but this yr the offer is not attractive at all so i bought only one. Sounds like a good deal. Been looking for a cheap way to get phones from the US and sell here ... But ebay will want to collect their cut and that'll chop into the profit. Do you have another way this can be done? 🤔 |

Tier4Dependant: Had same issues, said I owe £159 but couldn’t pay online. Called them & I was guided on how to make the payment while on the call. Wait time was about 20mins before I was able to speak to an agent.
The guy told me to go to gov.uk website, search for “simple assessment” and then click on “pay simple assessment tax bill”.
In the letter I received, there was a reference number and I quoted it before making payment. Okay then, I will call them tmr or Monday Are you allowed to pay it in bits? Maybe £40 x 3 times |

ehizario2012: Honestly it's freeing up already, there's this popular warehouse that usually lay off staff, due to low sales, in second week in January (around this time) but they held on to staff this year because of the uncertainty in the immigration laws... They aren't sure if they'll get new applicants by spring when their business picks up again. Hmm I will wait and see what happens around June, then the dust will have cleared and the immigration pathway and numbers will roll in. I expect new rules to also trickle in or amendments |
