Passionate888:And now it's worse. I freaked out when I cleaned my nostrils. This is terrible! |
This ugly incident occurred mainly because of breakdown of safety procedures (though I doubt if any exists). A totally preventable incident if barriers were provided to prevent it from happening. The collaborative deployment of administrative controls, fire safety equipment & appropriate engineering designs would have provided these requires barriers. The girl committed a felony, but I believe the management of this store created an environment for the incident to occur - and this is what I call negligence. So sad this will become another LFI case, and it's really an expensive one to say the least. |
Are you still in this business? |
oyonu:I'm happy someone else noticed that the Ikoyi link bridge is not really a suspension bridge, which normally should have wide spans between the piers in order to achieve enough clearance space on the waterways below the bridge. Experts in bridge design & construction can throw more light. |
mkoabiola:Aiteo is not in the same league as the ones earlier mentioned. |
hycebee:Back to the performance review... Let me start off by advising car owners to strictly adhere to manufacturer's oil spec. It is very important. I've been battling with this annoying warning lights that refused to go off after my last oil change (Mobil XHP) & spring suspension replacement. VSC, TRAC, BRAKE lights displayed though I didn't notice any fault with my brake system. My 'kazeem' told me I should replace my bank2 O2 sensor after running a scan. I tried buying the sensor but to no avail. Fast forward to yesterday, I changed my motor oil and used a 5W-30 that was specified by the manufacturer. I also replaced a leaking gasket on the rear exhaust. To my surprise all the warning lights went off after driving a distance of about 2 miles. Don't really know if I should say it was the oil that worked the magic, but I'm really glad the lights went off. |
Just ordered for Toyota 5W-30. Transaction was straight forward and smooth. I'll come back here to share the performance review. |
Glo data service still remains terribly poor and this new rate is not the right business decision to make. They should just focus on improving the coverage and capacity of their data network. Abi what is the essence of buy 2gb data when the poor network will not allow you to use it. |
Kindly assist to run JTJGA31U440027297 Thanks. |
Thanks for the quick response. The price range is a little bit on the high side, especially the toks. I think the falling naira is responsible for that. The budget for the registered will be more reasonable if there'll be a room for negotiations. I don't like d particular honda pilot you attached with your comment. I wouldn't mind if you have another one (rx330 too). OROZ: |
Can it go for 2m? |
Good day. Please let me know if I can get Lexus RX330 or Honda Pilot both 04/05 edition. I will prefer toks, but I can consider a registered one if it is 1st body and very clean.Thanks. |
SkyLinkss:The exchange rate is killing! It's not wise for me to buy now when the rates are high. That's exactly why I suggested to wait till January. Please let's talk more on Whatsapp. |
Good evening. I've done some research on the my preferred SUV, and I'd like to know what to budget for any of them: 1. Toyota rav4 (04) 2. Toyota highlander (05-07) 3. Honda Pilot (07) You can also include the cost for Lexus RX330 (05), although I think it may be out of my budget. Please respond as soon as you can; I'm planning to buy any of the listed SUVs as soon as the yuletide season is over. Thanks. |
This post is about a year old. Are you saying the suv is still up for sale? |
Do you have a very clean RX300 2002 ? It may be used, but I prefer Belgium. Pls let me know the cost range. Thanks. |
Please give me a budget for Rav4 (04 and 05) model. I also need the budget for RX300 within the same price range. I just sent a text message to your mtn line too. Hoping to get your response soonest. |
That was a very lucky escape. Guys, don't try this if you are faced with a similar situation. You might not be as lucky as Alhaji. He should have made use of bank transfer. It's not always safe to handle large amount of cash. I personally try as much as possible to avoid making huge cash withdrawals. |
This is serious case. Can't wait to see how the whole thing unfolds. *Grabs my popcorn and watching* |
So sorry if the topic sounds a bit misleading. I'm only tring to ask a question. Something like... 'How do I stop 'spam' calls for GSM operators?' I've been trying to modify the topic but I couldn't get it. Maybe the mod can help. |
Wow!!! That's too bad. How I wish Nairaland moderators could beam their searchlight on this issue, give it a necessary awareness by moving it to the front page. Who knows NCC might hear our grieveances and possibly put a leash on the telcos. It seems to me that they the only agency that can stop all these. |
blazerMaks: Btw, is there anyone whose preferred test location is Portharcourt but got this Lagos invite?I'm in the same boat with you bro. I'm in PH; the address I filled showed PH. Don't know if I can afford the transport fare to & fro. And I don't know if they'll still conduct test for applicants from PH and it's environs. I'm still trying my best to raise some fund sha. No be small thing my brother. |
Nairalanders, please help me with this issue. I have been getting calls from Airtel & Glo and they always advertise their 'yeye' products. Initially they use their 5-digit numbers, which I always ignore. But they've just made it a lot more annoying because they now use normal 11-digit number to call. I'm getting so much uncomfortable with the whole 'spam' tactics. You know that feeling when you'll be expecting a very important call, only for you to pick the call and then u start hearing some 'silly' adverts. I've tried several methods to stop this: called their CCA, blocked some numbers (but more keeps popping up)...etc. I'm opened to more ideas from nairalanders. Too bad NCC is not doing anything about it. Thanks |
I chose PH or course. That's one of the reason why I mentioned earlier that I'm having a little bit of doubt. I've also tried several times to retrieve my pswd to no avail. I need to print out my registration page; and of course cross-check my info on the website. fils': |
I got the message too. Just a bit sceptical about the whole 'ish'. I go risk am sha; my t-fare to & from PH no go kill me. Anybody with info about how the test will look like should please drop it here. *¸*¸♥¸*´¸*´¨`°◦†нªηкs◦°´¨`¸*¸*´♥`*`* |
They should just go ahead and do that. I've not been enjoying it at all anyway. Mtcheeeeeew. PS: pls don't hate my comment if the industrial action is going 2 affect you. Just a bro expressing his thoughts. |
Why is this guy instigating violence? And what is SSS doing about it? He is directly threatning an elected governor and he's still walking free for heaven's sake! I think I can clearly see why some people say violence pays a lot in nigeria. SSS pls pick this guy off our street. I think he needs some time alone with you. You know knock some senses back into him. Just my 2kobo. |
Why is he still speaking through one of his special advisers? Does that mean that Suntai hasn't fully recorved? I wish him a speedy recorvery. |
Just got a mail that seems to come from FirstBank that I should upgrade my account info. I knew quite well from the onset that it was a spam. Please be careful with your banking details as these crooks might end up getting a clone of your bank account. This doesn't really sound like a big deal because most of us must have heard about spam mails circulating. Can't just stop laughing when I followed the link provided in the mail. These spammers must be so slow in their thinking. Are they really expecting people to submit their email password? Can't stop laughing. Enough of this story; make una shine ur eyes very well. To detect these fraud mails: * Check the full header of the message in your mail. You can know exactly where the mail originates. * Check the URL of the link provided in these mails; by their fruit you shall know them.

erul: ar u sure dat civil eng is part of d academic profession requested 4 in d advert?if its there, then next u need 2 consider is ur ageThanks. The advert didn't actually specify the particular engineering profession. They requested for ANY profession in egineering in the advert. I guess I'm not wrong about this anyway.. |
Thanks. |
