There's no specific answer to questions like this given the fact that a lot of factors may be involved which may vary in different situations. You know him better than any of us on this thread. Do you think he is doing this to spite you? What kind of man was he during your period of dating him? Are you still emotionally attached to him or is he still in to you? Have you both been in contact (of any kind) since you both parted ways? These are the kinds of questions that should be asked.
