Family / Re: I'm Seriously Considering Cheating On My Husband by HyDee001(m): 8:09pm On Sep 30, 2015 |
I have gone through your previous topics, OP. I understand you now. I read everything and could not help admitting that you are a strong woman. I admire you for it. But then, right now, all I see is misguided strength. May I tell you that the illicit intimacy you want to indulge in you will leave you more frustrated than ever. You will learn the hard way that revenge is sweet but its fruit is bitter. That act would put you on the same level with your hubby. That means you will have no moral right to despise him for his deeds or condemn him, cos, you are also a cheat. My dear, be strong. Don't give up. Stick to your marriage. Now that your hubby does not understand you as usual is good if you can manage it well. Men(randy men I mean) may mess up with a good woman but they know better than let a virtuous wife go. Illicit intimacy promises pleasure that it can't give. Don't do it. You don't want to have to awkwardly face your children in future when they confront you to know that their own mother who taught them morals was immoral. |

Useless governor. So because she wears a gown and does not wear a hijab, she is now a prostitute? Useless man I repeat. Someone should remind this man that we call him a governor because of the post he occupies. He would soon leave that post. Useles power intoxicated, ethno religious bigot. Gosh, I'm really pissed mehn! 5 Likes 1 Share |

Politics / Re: North Dragging Nigeria Backwards-gov Shettima by HyDee001(m): 11:43am On Sep 12, 2015 |
The north has been doing so ever since. They should not use insurgency to cover it up. For instance, we could have gained independence earlier than we did. But, was it not the same north that said they were not ready? The north has been pulling us back from the beginning, it's not just starting. |

No. 2 sha. What of Nigerian parents that will call you from your room just to ask you to hand them the remote on the table ? Nigerians also know how to ask stewpid questions. Someone comes out of his house in the morning at 7am and asks "So day don break?" No, day don scatter We are indeed a wonderful people. God bless Nigeria. |
Politics / Re: I Will Name My Cabinet On Oct 1st - Buhari by HyDee001(m): 10:47pm On Sep 11, 2015 |
This is junk journalism. The reporter, copy editor and chief editor of that newspaper deserves to be sacke. What they quote Buhari saying is before 1st of October. How these guys twist it to on 1st of October is beyond me. Are they trying to stir up unnecessary criticisms against Buhari? This is totally inappropriate. 1 Like 1 Share |

Women in this generation are trying. I have considered all the bashings they continually have to face on the social media. Almighty God gave 10 commandments and we humans could not keep it. OP now adds 19 new commandments. My simple advice to our ladies: Be yourself and keep investing in yourself so you'd keep getting better and wiser everyday. God bless Nigerian women. 2 Likes |

Politics / Re: Release Looters’ Names, NLC Tells Buhari by HyDee001(m): 7:12am On Sep 11, 2015 |
From all observations, Buhari would do just anything to elicit dislike of Jonathan from the populace. You know the whole psychology thing, 'make someone look bad and they would see you as someone better.' If he has not released the list (that's if he truly has one, and we've not been be lied to as usual), then it must be because he discovered that northern elites and his allies tops the list and Jonathan must be at the low rung of the ladder in comparison to what others looted. Besides, what of the Haliburton scandal that he initially wanted to open? He has stylishly closed it back. We are watching o! |
Politics / Re: Governors Reject Death Penalty For Looters by HyDee001(m): 7:02am On Sep 11, 2015 |
Our governors be like, "So, it is when it's my turn to chop this national cake with two hands that they want to start this? Gosh forbid. I must chop my share first!" But as a true Nigerian, I support the death penalty. We have lost so much already. We can not afford to destroy the future of the next generation because of the unbridled greed of a few. Buhari, death penalty all the way please! 4 Likes |

I will not leave the house for her. For God's sake, it's my house!!! I would thank her for all she has done so far and that help in the house is appreciated.. I would then tell her that I want to promote her. Then I'd reach for my wallet, give her a generous bunch of currency notes and bid her farewell. Off to her parents' house she goes, to return only when she develops common and uncommon sense. 3 Likes |
Politics / Re: See What Is Happening To Nigeria's Economy Under Buhari by HyDee001(m): 12:23am On Sep 11, 2015 |
The president should better swing in to action. All these crumbs that he is feeding us so as to keep us realizing that there's something called a loaf of bread will not work for long. The way he watches things gradually disintegrate under is very nose is alarming. Since it's taking him about 4 good months to get his cabinet together, only God knows how long it will take him to develop his policies. I have a very strong feeling that except God specially helps Buhari, he would use his first 4 years fixing the problems that developed in his first 4 months in office. Meanwhile, lets hope the body language of Buhari and the fear of Buhari would come to the rescue. Sai Chanji! 32 Likes |

Babysho:I knew it was not going anywhere near front page. Face it dude, it's not just worth it. Secondly, I checked up terminator genesys before commenting. Don't feel you're so much a true literate. Thirdly, you say you are notorious for insults. No wonder people ignored the thread. You're someone who no reasonable person wants to be associated with. You're still a kid, even if you're 29 years old. When you become an adult, you will learn through experience to be nice. Fourth on the list, I'm not an object of your pity. Save it for someone else, or better still, for yourself. Last but not the least, I forgot we still have adolescents on nairaland. Had I remembered, I would have ignored your thread. Lastline: Have a seat and consider what I've written above. |
Politics / Re: Photos From The Senate Session That Had Power Failure 8 Times by HyDee001(m): 8:21pm On Sep 10, 2015 |
.So a story I heard goes thus: (OBJ and Bill Clinton were having a phone call discussion.) OBJ: Clinton, you won't believe it. We now have 24hours power supply. Clinton: I don't believe you. How would that be possible? OBJ: Just come to Abuja and witness it. It's extraordinary. (Clinton comes two months later. Every one is excited. OBJ boasts about improved power. But before they left the airport, NEPA disgraced OBJ.) OBJ: I had no option. I had to just let you come. Clinton: Okay. But come to the U.S. I want to show you how it's done. (OBJ flies to Washington the following week. While they had a private dinner, OBJ looks out and sees a dark area.) OBJ: (excitedly) Look! You lied! There's no electricity in that region. (Clinton calls his aide and asks) Aide: No oh! That's Nigerian Embassy. Back to the topic, if the wind of change has not reached the National Assembly, then we need to really examine that change. |

Selling of email addresses to others without the consent of the owners is unethical. Maybe nairaland should start using phone numbers for registration and should have it's own inbox. |
