The advise of the house is kindly needed here. A mistake was made while filling the online visa application for a dependent. The family name was wrongly filled as other given names, and vice versa. The visa fees has been paid already, and interview is scheduled for 18th June.
Kindly advise on how this can be corrected.

Alhamdulilah. Finally got the visa today. As advised, I applied using my award letter with other supporting documents. Applied on 25th February, visa was approved on 27th Feb. and I collected today.@ justwise and kemkem30 your advise is highly appreciated.

You don't need to wait for 28 days, you have scholarship letter, your sponsor is not in doubt, it's a well known organisation.

Yes, it will cover for the fees and maintenance. I intend asking them to state the annual tuition fees and state that the balance is for maintenance (even though the balance is in excess of the £820 X 9months required). Will it also be OK if I apply as a Tier 4(General) (Sponsored) Student. I wouldn't be able to wait for the 28 days as I'm to resume by 1st Feb.

@justwise, I still need the address. The award letter from my school to me does not state the exact amount for tuition and maintenance. It Only states the total amount awarded for the three years and a statement that it'll be disbursed annually in three equal instalments. So I want them to issue another letter stating the money for tuition and maintenance and preferably addressed to the ukba. Thanks

wa alaekun salam, but for the otutu and expensive childcare we are settling fine. okay if you have such a letter but i used only the one addressed to me and it had total amount in naira.
same appplies to me, you are not paying tuition fees for the fourth year. you will still get 4 years 4 month visa.

Salam KemKem. Eku otutu, hope you are settling down well. Yes I am the one. My University only wrote the total amount awarded in naira on the letter. That's why I am thinking of getting another letter from them, addressed to the Ukba stating the amount for tuition and maintenance.
Another quick question, the length of my studies is 4years, though I'm only to register and pay full tuition for 3years. The 4th year is for writing up my thesis. However the award letter from my university states that the tetfund sponsorship is for 3years. Did you encounter such, and will it be a problem?

Good morning. Please do I still need to wait for 28days even if I have a sponsorship letter from my employer. They are paying the money for the first year into my account though that may take a while. I have a start date of 1st February. The sponsorship letter states that they are paying for tuition, bench fees, living expenses, travel.
Again I also intend going with family (wife and a baby) how feasible is that?

All you need is current CAS, you don't need admission letter.

The University is asking that I re apply for a new admission letter bearing the January start date.

Admission letter. I am yet to get the CAS though I now have ATAS.

That is all you need to do, deposit complete amount of money covering your fees and maintenance money and leave it for 28days before printing the bank statement. you can't contro exchange rate.

Cool, Tetfund is my sponsor too. do you have your money now? i counted 28days and still submitted my sponsorship letter. atas usually takes a while, you need to book an appointment for your tb screening. check this link "https://www.gov.uk/apply-uk-visa" for all you need. then you

It's at the University of Liverpool. Sponsor is Tetfund and it's full sponsorship. My starting date is January so it's 3 months already. . I've applied for ATAS but yet to get a response from them

I applied on the 24th of september without my hubby. I submitted the following:
1: Consent letter (from my hubby)and evidence of why he didn't apply with us
2: birth and marriage certificates
3: family album (very detailed showing births and anniversaries)
4: my degree certificate
5: change of name
6:Bank statement
7: Evidence of Child care arrange8: Evidence of suitable accommodation for my kids
9: Transcript
10: fasting and prayers
I submitted online since the 12th of september when my money was just about 18days old, but I did the final transaction on day 29(23rd), printed the statement of account the next day(24th). I really hope this helps somebody out there.

They claim they want to make the Universities compete with their counterparts in the rest of the world but i want to ask ASUU is our Public Infrastructure, Police (security), power supply, Healthcare, and even primary and secondary education (which i consider more important than university education) competing with the rest of the world? We cannot grow our universities at the expense of other sectors, all sectors must grow together and I know since the inception of this Administration, tertiary education has received more than a fair share of the Nation's resources. God Bless Nigeria

And which sector will supply the required manpower for those sectors you listed?
