To say a voice recording of a sitting Governor threatening to kill INEC officials is nothing is really pathetic. Your naive partisanship has blinded you. Courts use voice recordings as evidence all the time. And as I stated before, voice recognition software can easily prove that the recording is him or not. Please get your head out of the toilet....

Just like there are softwares that can clone someones voice there are softwares that can recognize voice cloning and verify voice identity so there is really no way for Wike to hide.

Voice simulation software can be detected by using voice recognition software. So there's no way to deny it if that is really him on the tape. If it is him then he is in serious trouble. Only in Nigeria can a State Governor threaten to kill and it's taken as a childs play. Sad...

Wike Needs Immediate Psychiatric Attention — Rivers APC

….Says the law of Karma is now after him

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State has recommended immediate psychiatric attention for the State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, saying that his behavior and utterances these days do not present him as a person who is still in full control of his mental faculties.

The party said in a statement issued on Monday in the state capital Port Harcourt: “Nigerians may have observed the distorted, uncoordinated and incomprehensible manner in which Chief Wike addresses the public these days, which is perhaps an indication that he needs psychiatrist assistance as a matter of urgency before his case goes beyond remedy. Today he is accusing the military of being after him or tying to assassinate him, tomorrow he will be accusing the INEC and Police of plotting on how to rig the rerun election scheduled to hold on December 10. Later he will accuse Transportation Minister Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi of trying to pay the salaries of civil servants which he Wike has refused to pay for these eight months. This is even as he would accuse NIMASA DG Dakuku Peterside of plotting how to restore security and peace to Rivers State, thereby dislodging and thwarting his policy of turning Rivers State to Rivers of blood while on the other hand accusing the APC Rivers South-East Senatorial District Candidate Senator Magnus Abe of meeting with senior police officers between 2am and 4am on Friday, where he requested that they support his rigging agenda in exchange for N10million EACH. If not that Wike has gone berserk where on earth does he wants Abe to raise such a staggering fund in an election that the Ogonis have vowed to vote for him?

Recently at the Rivers state Government House, Wike muttered to PDP Chieftains, “apart from the fact that Development creates crime and that since I resumed office as Governor of Rivers state, people are being killed and beheaded in Rivers state and pictures of those killed in the state were littered in social media, too much insecurity in Rivers state I will only try my little best to handle it but as the President of the new Niger Delta Republic, how can my fellow President, President Buhari of Nigeria withdrew my security and assigned them to Hon Asita O. Asita a small boy besides People should understand that in Rivers State, we have the capacity to resist the security agencies of Nigeria. To worsen our case, the Inspector General of Police (IGP) has assigned all the Police SARs in the South-South (SS) to Senator Magnus Abe and those of South East (SE) region to 'Senators' Andrew Uchendu and Amachree".

Rivers APC in the statement signed by the State Chairman, Chief (Dr.) Davies Ibiamu Ikanya, described Wike’s wild allegations and utterances as symptomanic of a person in need of psychiatric evaluation. “We suspect that the law of Karma is now after him including the blood of hundreds of Rivers State people that Wike and his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) killed to install him and his lieutenants in office is now on a revenge mission, exacting a heavy toll on the usurper-Governor,’ the party said.

The quote, "he who sows the wind, will reap the whirlwind” makes better meaning with the current sorrow state of Wike and his mindless cohorts. The Holy Bible as contained in the book of Galatians 6:7 may have had Wike in mind when it stated, "Be not deceived; God is not mocked for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap"

To further expose wike's unstable mind and thought as Nigerian Master Electoral Rigger and how he rigged himself to power, let us listen to him, "How can APC topple me as master electoral rigger? Na me bi their Oga (for rigging). I no give them this kind thing. Na me bi their oga. I no teach them this kind thing. Na who dey teach them all this kind thing? Trans Amadi Police station, you know we have police barrack there near Michelin. Na there wey the SARS Commander dey live, one Akeem. Every night, you go see them with this Tundra, this big hilux, black. Them go come. Them go tell all the security people wey dey for gate make them comot. Them go comot. Them go put off the light and bring down materials. I go tell them say me, I be professional. This thing wey una dey do, una bi small children”.

Everyday this man who is not fit to be a governor makes Rivers State a laughing stock before the country and the international community. He should be made to get help before it is too late.”

We therefore appeal to the Rivers electorate to utilise the opportunity offered by the rerun parliamentary election to vote massively for all APC candidates and thus free the State from the shackles of the ungodly and bloodthirsty PDP leadership.”

"In the same vein, we appeal to INEC and security agencies not to be intimidated by Wike’s tricks and pranks. We urge the security agencies to ensure that those hoodlums hired and kept by Wike to cause havoc during the election are properly caged so that people would feel free to exercise their franchise on December 10, 2016,” the statement said.

CareerRSSDA Staff Protest 17 Months Non Payment Of Salary By Wike by hydroking23(op): 2:18am On Nov 29, 2016
Okafor Ofiebor/Port Harcourt

Hundreds of female staff and wives of the male staff of Rivers State Sustainable Development Authority, RSSDA, in Port Harcourt today, protested over nonpayment of salaries running to 17 months, by the Rivers State Government.

The women who were joined by female nongovernmental Organizations in the State converged at the Aztec Arcum Event Centre at the Stadium road Port Harcourt where they interfaced with the Rivers State Police Command before peacefully protesting to the Rivers State Government House.

Mrs Mina Obanga, leader of the female staff and Wives of staff of RSSDA who spoke through telephone said: “we are celebrating human rights day One of the core issues we are facing is the 17 months nonpayment of our husbands and our women in RSSDA.The agency has been neglected to the extent that its workers have not been paid for 17 months. It is the height of violation of the rights of the woman. There is no ethics and reasons behind it. We need to hear the voice of our dear Governor. These women have been going through hardship, pains and harassment for the past 17 months our women and our husbands have not been paid.”

When reminded that the Rivers State government had complained about the paucity of funds in the state, the leader of the protesting women dismissed the claim and disclosed that the women are in possession of the revenue allocation that accrued to the state in the past 17 months.

“Allocations have been coming in to the state. We have the copy of the allocations that have been coming to the state. The salaries of all the people working in RSSDA is next to nothing compared to the allocations that have been coming to the state government. It should be noted that because of the support we have for the state that is we have been calm. But we can not continue to keep quiet as if all is well”,Mrs Mina Obanga.

At the time of filing the report, the women had converged in front of Aztec Arcum event Centre along staduim getting ready to embark on a peaceful march to Government House present their protest letter to Governor Nyesom Wike or his wife, Justice Mrs Suzette Nyesom Wike.

Rather his indecision based on his cluelessness is causing panic with the resultant effect being capital flight and undue pressure on the naira. PoliticsPatience Jonathan Must Forfeit $15m - EFCC by hydroking23(op): 4:01am On Sep 16, 2016
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission says it is heading to court to file an application seeking the total forfeiture of $15,591,700, belonging to former First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan.
The money is currently lodged in the Skye Bank account of four companies: Pluto Property and Investment Company Limited; Seagate Property Development & Investment Company Limited; Trans Ocean Property and Investment Company Limited and Avalon Global Property Development Company Limited.

The EFCC had frozen the four accounts, which were linked to a former Special Adviser to the President on Domestic Affairs, Waripamowei Dudafa.

However, Jonathan’s wife had claimed in a sworn affidavit that the money in the four accounts belonged to her even though there is no paper evidence to establish a link between her and the companies.

She also urged the court to compel the EFCC to lift the restriction on the accounts.

The EFCC had arraigned the four companies on Thursday and the companies pleaded guilty to money laundering charges.

Punch quoted a senior EFCC official as saying that the commission would subsequently apply for the total forfeiture of the funds.

“The four companies, in whose accounts the monies were lodged, have pleaded guilty to money laundering. We are therefore filing an application, seeking the complete and total forfeiture of the money to the Federal Government.

“The $15,591,700 should go (be deposited in) into the Treasury Single Account of the Federal Government of Nigeria,” Punch quoted the EFCC source as saying.

On Thursday, the four accused companies pleaded guilty to conspiring with Dudafa; a lawyer, Amajuoyi Briggs; and a banker, Adedamola Bolodeoku, to launder the sum of $15, 591,700 on or about November 13, 2013.

The EFCC, while arraigning the seven accused persons before a Federal High Court in Lagos on Thursday, admitted to the court that the $15.6m were proceeds of theft.

Though Dudafa, Briggs and Bolodeoku pleaded not guilty to the amended 15 counts pressed against them by the EFCC, the four companies, charged along with them, owned up to committing the offence.

The guilty plea was entered on behalf of Pluto, Seagate, Trans Ocean and Avalon by one Friday Davies, Agbo Baro, Bioghowri Frederick and Taiwo Ebenezer, respectively.

The EFCC had since frozen the $15.6m found in the four companies’ accounts with Skye Bank Plc by placing a ‘No Debit Order’ on the four accounts.

But Patience had filed a fundamental rights enforcement suit against the EFCC and the bank, claiming that the money, which the EFCC said were proceeds of theft, belonged to her.

Patience is also seeking damages against Skye Bank in the sum of N200m for what she termed a violation of her right to own personal property under Section 44 of the 1999 Constitution.

But Patience’s suit against the EFCC and Skye Bank has yet to be heard by any judge.

However, the EFCC arraigned Dudafa, Briggs, Bolodeoku and the four companies before Justice Babs Kuewumi on Thursday for money laundering and conspiring to retain proceeds of theft.

The EFCC also alleged that the seven accused persons conspired to forge Skye Bank mandate cards, purporting that they were signed by Friday Davies, Kola Fredrick, Taiwo Ebenezer and Agbo Baro, to prejudice Skye Bank in their bid to launder the $15.6m.

They were also accused of forging a Wema Bank Corporate Account mandate card, purporting that it was signed by Taiwo Ebenezer and Chima John to prejudice Wema Bank.

PoliticsNSCDC Arrests 50 ‘militants’ In Rivers by hydroking23(op): 2:18am On Sep 16, 2016
The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has arrested 50 suspected militants in Rivers State and destroyed 15 illegal refineries in different locations in Niger Delta.

NSCDC’s Commandant General (CG) Abdullahi Muhammadu said the suspects were arrested last Wednesday night during a special operation by the corps operatives in the state.

Muhammadu told reporters in Abuja that the suspects were being screened and profiled as part of investigations to know their level of culpability in pipeline bombings and vandalism in the region.
The NSCDC chief said those indicted during investigators would be prosecuted for economic sabotage.

He said: “As at yesterday (Wednesday), 15 illegal refineries were destroyed and 50 militants were arrested. But we need to screen them to know those who would be charged to court because they are many: fifty of them, just in a night.”

Muhammadu said the mandate of the corps had been extended beyond pipeline and critical infrastructure protection to include security for dams, agro-allied businesses, farms and ranches across the country.
He said 2,000 NSCDC operatives were participating in counter-insurgency operations in the Northeast, adding that 2,700 others were undergoing training for deployment in the region.

The NSCDC chief said he had received requests for deployment of NSCDC personnel from various corporations, including the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), Ministry of Agriculture, National Agricultural Seed Council and Ministry of Water Resources.

Muhammadu said the Minister of Interior, Lt.-Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau (retd.) had requested from the Presidency the permission to recruit additional operatives into the corps to enable it discharge its responsibility more effectively.

The NSCDC chief complained about inadequate financial allocation, urging the Federal Government to allow security agencies to maintain an account for their operations.

Muhammadu, who expressed appreciation to NSCDC officers for providing security during the Eid-el-Kabir celebration, added: “I am happy with the pro-activeness and doggedness of all of you in tackling insecurity during this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration. I pray that you keep it up at all times to justify the mandate of the corps.”

The NSCDC chief pledged that the corps planned to do a lot, especially in protecting critical infrastructure.
According to him, the get-rich syndrome among youths during the “ember” months had been very high because they failed to celebrate Christmas festival in line with the Christian doctrine.

Rather, Muhammadu said youths had taken to crimes to get rich fast and become overnight celebrities.
He said as security operatives, there is need for NSCDC officers to plan its modus operandi to avert crimes and reduce such vices.

The NSCDC chief said there was no rift between the management and the officers, adding that all should be wary of those he called mischief makers who were promoting misinformation.

He said: “The NSCDC is one big happy family. We should not give room to evil-minded persons to bring in sentiments or cause division in the house, which they want to build through campaigns of calumny.”
Muhammadu advised departmental and unit heads to always inform their officers on developments to avoid rumours and speculation.

PORT HARCOURT— Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Rivers State, has described Governor Adams Oshiomhole as a drowning politician, who is seriously worried that his All Progressive Congress, APC, will lose the governorship elections in his Edo State. Publicity Secretary of the party, Mr Sam Nwanosike, who spoke, yesterday, in Port Harcourt, said that Governor Oshiomhole dramatised his frustrations with his recent unsubstantiated allegations that Governor Nyesom Wike had mobilised militants to storm the governorship election in Edo State that were postponed. He also dismissed as tissues of lies, allegations by the Edo State governor that Governor Wike and his Delta State counterpart, Ifeanyi Okowa doled out N2 billion to the PDP’s governorship candidate in Edo State. Nwanosike said that the people of Edo State had made it clear to Nigerians that they were done with the APC because of the level of deceit, propaganda and lack of performance. “As a political party, the PDP has no business with militancy. When a man is drowning, he looks for every thing to hold to. Oshiomole first said 8,000 militants were registered, later he switched, saying N2 billion was given to PDP. We don’t have any business asking our members to go and support our candidate in Edo State because we have enough supporters in Edo State. Pastor Ize Iyamu has all the support. They have tried to use security to disorganise Ize Iyamu but they failed, they denied Ize Iyamu use of the stadium for his campaign, the people still went with him, you saw the people with him. “Oshiomole knows he will lose the election. He is just looking for soft landing when he loses the election.” Nwanosike said that members of the PDP in Rivers State were responsible people with no link with miscreants. He lauded Governor Wike for his amnesty programme, saying it will rehabilitate and reintegrate repentant militant youths in the state. “We believe as a government that the youths should be given a means of livelihood,” he said.
PoliticsSwiss Firms Selling Dirty Fuel To Nigerians by hydroking23(op): 1:19am On Sep 16, 2016
A civil rights organisation, Africa Network for Environment and Economic Justice, has raised the alarm that two companies based in Switzerland, Vitol and Trafigura, are allegedly engaged in the importation of dirty fuel to Nigeria.

The ANEEJ advised the government to “work closely with the National Assembly and help to activate all environmental laws that will check the illegitimate business activities of Vitol and Trafigura.”

The Executive Director, ANEEJ, Rev. David Ugolor, at a press briefing in Abuja on Thursday, challenged the Federal Government to pay serious attention to the dangers posed to the health of the citizens by the development.

He also suggested that there should be an increase in the oversight function of regulatory bodies like the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency, while a task force should be set up in the West African sub-region to embark on a massive enlightenment on dirty fuel.

Ugolor alleged that foreign companies “take undue advantage of weak fuel standards in Africa to produce, deliver and sell diesel, Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) and gasoline, which damage the health of the people.”

He alleged that the business model of the Swiss firms relied on an illegitimate strategy of deliberately lowering the quality of fuels for gain.

Ugolor said, “Using a common industry practice called blending, Vitol and Trafigura and their conglomerates mix cheap and toxic intermediate petroleum products to produce what the industry calls African quality fuel.”

According to him, these products contain higher levels of sulphur and other harmful poisons that can never be found in Europe and the United States. By selling such fuels and diesels at the pump in Africa, the traders increase external air pollution, causing respiratory diseases and premature deaths.

He said, “We all know that poor air quality poses serious risks to public health. As air quality declines, the risk of stroke, heart diseases, lung cancer, and chronic and acute respiratory diseases increases for residents of cities where the people rely on diesel to power their means of production.

“It is impossible to continue to remain silent about this problem, especially for the short and long-term repercussions on the health and economy of our people.

“Therefore, the ANEEJ, an NGO strong in the areas of anti-corruption, environment, poverty alleviation and good governance, in collaboration with a Swiss NGO, the Public Eye, formerly the Berne Declaration, have carried out this campaign against dirty fuels in the West African sub-region with the intention to address it.”

PoliticsRussia To Export Helicopters To Nigeria by hydroking23(op): 1:10am On Sep 16, 2016
Russia had said it would export helicopters, Mil Mi-8/17 and Mi-24/35 helicopters to Nigeria, Angola, Mali and Sudan between this year and 2017. The head of the delegation for Russia’s arms exporter, Rosoboronexport, Mr Yury Demchenko yesterday, said that Russia wished to maintain exporting to the four countries. “In 2016-2017, we plan to continue exporting these helicopters to Nigeria Angola, Mali and Sudan Our position in the African helicopter market is solid, so we are optimistic about the prospects of cultivating it further,” the delegation chief added. “Besides, many African countries prefer to purchase inexpensive equipment, and in particular used equipment, the Russian delegation’s head noted. “For example, we export those Mil Mi-8 and Mi-24 helicopters to this region that have gone through major renovation,” he elaborated.

Demchenko pointed out that helicopters remained one of the most sought-after types of military hardware in Africa. In 2014-2016, Russian-made helicopters were exported to Angola, Sudan, Uganda and Rwanda. According to the official, “Russia’s military-technical cooperation with the African countries has been steady on the ascent for the past few years and a number of African countries have already joined the list of Russia’s main trading partners.” “By and large the share of Africa in the world export of weapons is relatively small. For instance sub-Saharan Africa accounts for about two percent, but the statistics of Russian weapons sales by Rosoboronexport in Africa showed steady growth for several years.”

A similar situation can be observed in northern Africa, where a number of countries in recent years considerably built up purchases of Russian weapons to have entered the list of our main partners in the sphere of military-technical cooperation,” Demchenko said. He believed that the African market is very promising for Russia and shows steady growth. To a certain extent this is a result of soaring threats from terrorists and pirates, as well as such problems as drug trafficking and illegal production of hydrocarbons and seafood, he explained. “Besides, African states have been building up their participation in regional and international peacekeeping missions,” he recalled.

The weapons show in South Africa, which is being held on September 14-18, is the largest in Africa. According to the organizers, nearly 400 companies from 43 countries are taking part. According to earlier reports, the Russian delegation plans meetings with delegates from more than 25 countries in Africa, as well as delegations from a number of countries in Europe, Asia and Latin America.

BusinessRe: Another Oil Crash Is Coming. Is Nigeria Prepared?? by hydroking23(op): 7:45pm On Aug 28, 2016
Between the North's quest to find new oil wells and the renewed agitation by the Militants in the Niger-Delta, we don't hear any voices advocating for the implementation of a national renewable energy plan. The downward trend of oil prices are already manifesting and Nigerians are still fighting over who benefits from the proceeds of a commodity that will soon be obsolete.

In the U.S. and across Europe and Asia, homes are being powered by solar panels and powerful inverter batteries. Slowly people are disconnecting themselves from their National power grids and are solely dependant on their own means to meet their electricity needs. Nigeria on the other hand is still trying to figure out how to effectively manage and implement a power generation, transmission and distribution model that will soon go the way of the Dinosaurs.

Are we not ashamed? People across the world are ditching their fuel guzzling cars for electric cars. While we queue at fueling stations in hopes that there's enough product to last your car and generator for the week, people are plugging in their cars to charge the battery over night for the next day while their homes are powered by batteries that were charged from their solar panels.

The evidence is there, the cost of fossil fuels are dropping and the production costs of renewable energy sources like solar panels are also dropping. All of the major Automotive companies such as Ford, Volkswagen, Toyota etc are pouring billions of dollars into the production of electric cars. For Nigeria that solely depends on oil revenue this is a nightmare. And from the looks of things there is no concrete plan to ensure Nigerians are protected from another Oil crash.

Who's to blame? Our leaders? Obasanjo? GEJ? Buhari? Who knows, but the government of the day needs to start taking action to ensure Nigeria doesn't get left behind. While we're fighting over who's Muslim or Christian, Militants or Herdsmen, Kidnappers or Boko haram; the world is moving forward. Will Nigeria be left behind?

Superior electric cars are on their way, and they could begin to wreck oil markets within a decade. It’s time for oil investors to start taking electric cars seriously.
In the next two years, Tesla and Chevy plan to start selling electric cars with a range of more than 200 miles priced in the $30,000 range. Ford is investing billions, Volkswagen is investing billions, and Nissan and BMW are investing billions. Nearly every major carmaker—as well as Apple and Google—is working on the next generation of plug-in cars.

This is a problem for oil markets. OPEC still contends that electric vehicles will make up just 1 percent of global car sales in 2040. Exxon's forecast is similarly dismissive. The oil price crash that started in 2014 was caused by a glut of unwanted oil, as producers started cranking out about 2 million barrels a day more than the market supported. Nobody saw it coming, despite the massively expanding oil fields across North America. The question is: How soon could electric vehicles trigger a similar oil glut by reducing demand by the same 2 million barrels?

That's the subject of the first installment of Bloomberg’s new animated web series Sooner Than You Think, which examines some of the biggest transformations in human history that haven’t happened quite yet. On Thursday, analysts at Bloomberg New Energy Finance weighed in with a comprehensive analysis of where the electric car industry is headed.

Even amid low gasoline prices last year, electric car sales jumped 60 percent worldwide. If that level of growth continues, the crash-triggering benchmark of 2 million barrels of reduced demand could come as early as 2023. That's a crisis. The timing of new technologies is difficult to predict, but it may not be long before it becomes impossible to ignore.
