edoyad:"I will make sure I will KILL him in this state" You didn't hear that part?? I have ear cleaner that you can use.... |
kcnwaigbo:To say a voice recording of a sitting Governor threatening to kill INEC officials is nothing is really pathetic. Your naive partisanship has blinded you. Courts use voice recordings as evidence all the time. And as I stated before, voice recognition software can easily prove that the recording is him or not. Please get your head out of the toilet.... |
kcnwaigbo:Are you saying it's not legitimate?? |
JimiOgunlola:Just like there are softwares that can clone someones voice there are softwares that can recognize voice cloning and verify voice identity so there is really no way for Wike to hide. |
JimiOgunlola:As I told another poster, Voice recognition software can detect whether the voice in question is being simulated by any artificial means. It's a really simple case to prove. |
kcnwaigbo:Voice simulation software can be detected by using voice recognition software. So there's no way to deny it if that is really him on the tape. If it is him then he is in serious trouble. Only in Nigeria can a State Governor threaten to kill and it's taken as a childs play. Sad... |
dunkem21:So basically what you are saying is that you don't believe it's Wike on the tape even though it can be easily verified. |
antosly:Try listening to the recording. This is 2016, a simple voice recognition software can easily prove him guilty or innocent. Let's be real.... |
For those who doubt that there is a certified thug and killer as the Governor of Rivers state. Something needs to be done. https://m.soundcloud.com/saharareporters/governor-nyesom-wike-of-rivers-state-caught-on-tape-bribing-election-offiials |
You should ask INEC as I don't work for them. It's funny that INEC seems to have the same issues with this election as they had last year. |
Wike Needs Immediate Psychiatric Attention — Rivers APC ….Says the law of Karma is now after him The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State has recommended immediate psychiatric attention for the State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, saying that his behavior and utterances these days do not present him as a person who is still in full control of his mental faculties. The party said in a statement issued on Monday in the state capital Port Harcourt: “Nigerians may have observed the distorted, uncoordinated and incomprehensible manner in which Chief Wike addresses the public these days, which is perhaps an indication that he needs psychiatrist assistance as a matter of urgency before his case goes beyond remedy. Today he is accusing the military of being after him or tying to assassinate him, tomorrow he will be accusing the INEC and Police of plotting on how to rig the rerun election scheduled to hold on December 10. Later he will accuse Transportation Minister Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi of trying to pay the salaries of civil servants which he Wike has refused to pay for these eight months. This is even as he would accuse NIMASA DG Dakuku Peterside of plotting how to restore security and peace to Rivers State, thereby dislodging and thwarting his policy of turning Rivers State to Rivers of blood while on the other hand accusing the APC Rivers South-East Senatorial District Candidate Senator Magnus Abe of meeting with senior police officers between 2am and 4am on Friday, where he requested that they support his rigging agenda in exchange for N10million EACH. If not that Wike has gone berserk where on earth does he wants Abe to raise such a staggering fund in an election that the Ogonis have vowed to vote for him? Recently at the Rivers state Government House, Wike muttered to PDP Chieftains, “apart from the fact that Development creates crime and that since I resumed office as Governor of Rivers state, people are being killed and beheaded in Rivers state and pictures of those killed in the state were littered in social media, too much insecurity in Rivers state I will only try my little best to handle it but as the President of the new Niger Delta Republic, how can my fellow President, President Buhari of Nigeria withdrew my security and assigned them to Hon Asita O. Asita a small boy besides People should understand that in Rivers State, we have the capacity to resist the security agencies of Nigeria. To worsen our case, the Inspector General of Police (IGP) has assigned all the Police SARs in the South-South (SS) to Senator Magnus Abe and those of South East (SE) region to 'Senators' Andrew Uchendu and Amachree". Rivers APC in the statement signed by the State Chairman, Chief (Dr.) Davies Ibiamu Ikanya, described Wike’s wild allegations and utterances as symptomanic of a person in need of psychiatric evaluation. “We suspect that the law of Karma is now after him including the blood of hundreds of Rivers State people that Wike and his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) killed to install him and his lieutenants in office is now on a revenge mission, exacting a heavy toll on the usurper-Governor,’ the party said. The quote, "he who sows the wind, will reap the whirlwind” makes better meaning with the current sorrow state of Wike and his mindless cohorts. The Holy Bible as contained in the book of Galatians 6:7 may have had Wike in mind when it stated, "Be not deceived; God is not mocked for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap" To further expose wike's unstable mind and thought as Nigerian Master Electoral Rigger and how he rigged himself to power, let us listen to him, "How can APC topple me as master electoral rigger? Na me bi their Oga (for rigging). I no give them this kind thing. Na me bi their oga. I no teach them this kind thing. Na who dey teach them all this kind thing? Trans Amadi Police station, you know we have police barrack there near Michelin. Na there wey the SARS Commander dey live, one Akeem. Every night, you go see them with this Tundra, this big hilux, black. Them go come. Them go tell all the security people wey dey for gate make them comot. Them go comot. Them go put off the light and bring down materials. I go tell them say me, I be professional. This thing wey una dey do, una bi small children”. Everyday this man who is not fit to be a governor makes Rivers State a laughing stock before the country and the international community. He should be made to get help before it is too late.” We therefore appeal to the Rivers electorate to utilise the opportunity offered by the rerun parliamentary election to vote massively for all APC candidates and thus free the State from the shackles of the ungodly and bloodthirsty PDP leadership.” "In the same vein, we appeal to INEC and security agencies not to be intimidated by Wike’s tricks and pranks. We urge the security agencies to ensure that those hoodlums hired and kept by Wike to cause havoc during the election are properly caged so that people would feel free to exercise their franchise on December 10, 2016,” the statement said. http://www.codewit.com/nigeria-news/27311-wike-needs-immediate-psychiatric-attention-rivers-apc |
This is good! Wike did the same for last years election, so now he will reap what he sowed. |

MrPristine:You didn't even address amagunnerfan's points. He clearly laid out the financial situation of the country during Yar Aduas time up to GEJ taking over after his death. Yet you couldn't refute any of the financial evidence provided that clearly indicate that GEJ mismanaged our economy. Please prove it wrong..... |
herbie27:Do you even live in PH? I lived in PH from 2007 till date. It was much more peaceful when he was Governor than it is now. Can you explain that? |
Buhari has already agreed to not prosecute GEJ for handing over peacefully. I pray his wife is not afforded the same chance. She should rot in prison. |

I've lived in both places so I can speak on both places. Have you ever been to or lived in the U.S.? If not please shut up because you have no authority to speak on it.I can speak on corruption in America all day because it's on every major newspaper and headline. I see the same things that happen in Nigeria happen here. The only differences is that Americans use legal frameworks to hide what they do. Nigerians are just open and more blatant. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/09/rivers-pdp-slams-oshiomhole-comments-wike/ PORT HARCOURT— Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Rivers State, has described Governor Adams Oshiomhole as a drowning politician, who is seriously worried that his All Progressive Congress, APC, will lose the governorship elections in his Edo State. Publicity Secretary of the party, Mr Sam Nwanosike, who spoke, yesterday, in Port Harcourt, said that Governor Oshiomhole dramatised his frustrations with his recent unsubstantiated allegations that Governor Nyesom Wike had mobilised militants to storm the governorship election in Edo State that were postponed. He also dismissed as tissues of lies, allegations by the Edo State governor that Governor Wike and his Delta State counterpart, Ifeanyi Okowa doled out N2 billion to the PDP’s governorship candidate in Edo State. Nwanosike said that the people of Edo State had made it clear to Nigerians that they were done with the APC because of the level of deceit, propaganda and lack of performance. “As a political party, the PDP has no business with militancy. When a man is drowning, he looks for every thing to hold to. Oshiomole first said 8,000 militants were registered, later he switched, saying N2 billion was given to PDP. We don’t have any business asking our members to go and support our candidate in Edo State because we have enough supporters in Edo State. Pastor Ize Iyamu has all the support. They have tried to use security to disorganise Ize Iyamu but they failed, they denied Ize Iyamu use of the stadium for his campaign, the people still went with him, you saw the people with him. “Oshiomole knows he will lose the election. He is just looking for soft landing when he loses the election.” Nwanosike said that members of the PDP in Rivers State were responsible people with no link with miscreants. He lauded Governor Wike for his amnesty programme, saying it will rehabilitate and reintegrate repentant militant youths in the state. “We believe as a government that the youths should be given a means of livelihood,” he said. |

Russia had said it would export helicopters, Mil Mi-8/17 and Mi-24/35 helicopters to Nigeria, Angola, Mali and Sudan between this year and 2017. The head of the delegation for Russia’s arms exporter, Rosoboronexport, Mr Yury Demchenko yesterday, said that Russia wished to maintain exporting to the four countries. “In 2016-2017, we plan to continue exporting these helicopters to Nigeria Angola, Mali and Sudan Our position in the African helicopter market is solid, so we are optimistic about the prospects of cultivating it further,” the delegation chief added. “Besides, many African countries prefer to purchase inexpensive equipment, and in particular used equipment, the Russian delegation’s head noted. “For example, we export those Mil Mi-8 and Mi-24 helicopters to this region that have gone through major renovation,” he elaborated. Demchenko pointed out that helicopters remained one of the most sought-after types of military hardware in Africa. In 2014-2016, Russian-made helicopters were exported to Angola, Sudan, Uganda and Rwanda. According to the official, “Russia’s military-technical cooperation with the African countries has been steady on the ascent for the past few years and a number of African countries have already joined the list of Russia’s main trading partners.” “By and large the share of Africa in the world export of weapons is relatively small. For instance sub-Saharan Africa accounts for about two percent, but the statistics of Russian weapons sales by Rosoboronexport in Africa showed steady growth for several years.” A similar situation can be observed in northern Africa, where a number of countries in recent years considerably built up purchases of Russian weapons to have entered the list of our main partners in the sphere of military-technical cooperation,” Demchenko said. He believed that the African market is very promising for Russia and shows steady growth. To a certain extent this is a result of soaring threats from terrorists and pirates, as well as such problems as drug trafficking and illegal production of hydrocarbons and seafood, he explained. “Besides, African states have been building up their participation in regional and international peacekeeping missions,” he recalled. The weapons show in South Africa, which is being held on September 14-18, is the largest in Africa. According to the organizers, nearly 400 companies from 43 countries are taking part. According to earlier reports, the Russian delegation plans meetings with delegates from more than 25 countries in Africa, as well as delegations from a number of countries in Europe, Asia and Latin America. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/09/russia-export-helicopters-nigeria-three-countries/ |
ISpiksDaTroof:I actually live in the States. Yes we have good roads, water, etc. But Black people are killed and abused every day by the police, there's lead in the water at schools, homes and hospitals and our politicians are corrupt. The corruption is really the point of my thread and not a comparison of which place is better. The newly released wikileaks have shown that America is fantastically corrupt and they have no moral right to preach to other countries especially Nigeria about corruption. Understand now?? |

Between the North's quest to find new oil wells and the renewed agitation by the Militants in the Niger-Delta, we don't hear any voices advocating for the implementation of a national renewable energy plan. The downward trend of oil prices are already manifesting and Nigerians are still fighting over who benefits from the proceeds of a commodity that will soon be obsolete. In the U.S. and across Europe and Asia, homes are being powered by solar panels and powerful inverter batteries. Slowly people are disconnecting themselves from their National power grids and are solely dependant on their own means to meet their electricity needs. Nigeria on the other hand is still trying to figure out how to effectively manage and implement a power generation, transmission and distribution model that will soon go the way of the Dinosaurs. Are we not ashamed? People across the world are ditching their fuel guzzling cars for electric cars. While we queue at fueling stations in hopes that there's enough product to last your car and generator for the week, people are plugging in their cars to charge the battery over night for the next day while their homes are powered by batteries that were charged from their solar panels. The evidence is there, the cost of fossil fuels are dropping and the production costs of renewable energy sources like solar panels are also dropping. All of the major Automotive companies such as Ford, Volkswagen, Toyota etc are pouring billions of dollars into the production of electric cars. For Nigeria that solely depends on oil revenue this is a nightmare. And from the looks of things there is no concrete plan to ensure Nigerians are protected from another Oil crash. Who's to blame? Our leaders? Obasanjo? GEJ? Buhari? Who knows, but the government of the day needs to start taking action to ensure Nigeria doesn't get left behind. While we're fighting over who's Muslim or Christian, Militants or Herdsmen, Kidnappers or Boko haram; the world is moving forward. Will Nigeria be left behind? |
Superior electric cars are on their way, and they could begin to wreck oil markets within a decade. It’s time for oil investors to start taking electric cars seriously. In the next two years, Tesla and Chevy plan to start selling electric cars with a range of more than 200 miles priced in the $30,000 range. Ford is investing billions, Volkswagen is investing billions, and Nissan and BMW are investing billions. Nearly every major carmaker—as well as Apple and Google—is working on the next generation of plug-in cars. This is a problem for oil markets. OPEC still contends that electric vehicles will make up just 1 percent of global car sales in 2040. Exxon's forecast is similarly dismissive. The oil price crash that started in 2014 was caused by a glut of unwanted oil, as producers started cranking out about 2 million barrels a day more than the market supported. Nobody saw it coming, despite the massively expanding oil fields across North America. The question is: How soon could electric vehicles trigger a similar oil glut by reducing demand by the same 2 million barrels? That's the subject of the first installment of Bloomberg’s new animated web series Sooner Than You Think, which examines some of the biggest transformations in human history that haven’t happened quite yet. On Thursday, analysts at Bloomberg New Energy Finance weighed in with a comprehensive analysis of where the electric car industry is headed. Even amid low gasoline prices last year, electric car sales jumped 60 percent worldwide. If that level of growth continues, the crash-triggering benchmark of 2 million barrels of reduced demand could come as early as 2023. That's a crisis. The timing of new technologies is difficult to predict, but it may not be long before it becomes impossible to ignore. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-02-24/another-oil-crash-is-coming-and-there-may-be-no-recovery |
