How will he win a re-run election if he will be promptly investigated for fraud during his tenure as Minister of Education? If the Tribunal annuls the election he will not have the immunity privileges that come with being a Governor. It will be open season on Wike lol. Chess not Checkers my friend.

xtrorse:
South South geo-political zone has many ethnic groups and they have different views. Despite the prejudiced view you posted you still could not summon up enough boldness to identify and be identified by your ethnic nationality! There is nothing like Niger-delta tribe!

This is a free world in which you are entitled to freedom of association. You are free to merge yourselves with Yoruba, Bini, Urhobo, Itsekiri and any other interested ethnic group (that's if they will even agree to dine and die with vipers).  Stop feeling any important and leave Igbos out of your misery!

Igbos are not interested in non-Igbos of SS. Igbos have not forgotten the abandoned properties and at such do not trust them fully. There's oil in Anambra, Abia, Enugu and Imo. The whole of Enugu and Anambra States are sitting on Gas deposits; Coal at Enugu, Lime stone for cement in Abakaliki; rice in Ebonyi State; West Africa's largest market at Onitsha, Anambra; big markets at Aba, Abia state and Nnewi, Anambra...I could go on and on. Even without reliance on crude oil the Igbos have excelled and are more than ever before capable of doing  more exploits and competing with the World powers!

Libya without river created an artificial ocean and it's functioning very well. Switzerland and Austria are landlocked. Israel turned desert to fertile ground. With technology Igbos can change their world.

“The right to development is a fundamental right by virtue of which every human person and all peoples are entitled to participate in, contribute to and enjoy economic, social and cultural development.

“It is a right which includes the exercise of full sovereignty over national resources, self determination, popular participation in development and equality of opportunity."
It's nice to see your ethnic pride. Very refreshing. I don't know if you were referring to me about not revealing my ethnicity but if it makes you feel better I'm Ogoni. You claim the Igbos aren't interested in non-igbos of the SS then why does the rhetoric of all sympathizers claim ALL SS states as representing Biafra. Even in your old dispensation prior to the civil war ALL the SS are included. Your oil deposits are insignificant to say the least. The oil and gas deposits in Ogoni land alone rivals that of your supposed nation state. In Rivers state fringe communities such as Etche and Omuma and Oyigbo deny their obvious igbo heritage. They want no part of Biafra. So don't sit here and act like the Igbos only want the Igbos of the SS. They NEED the entire SS for their pipe dream to even come close to being a reality and unfortunately it ain't gonna happen!

Another Yolober fool spewing thrash from his ewedu infested mouth! Whether u like it or not SS is part of Biafra and there is nothing u can do about it.
Wow, instead of articulating your concerns with my opinion you just sit there and name call. Let me join you and Thank you for showing us how much of an idiot you are. I'm sure you've given your mother an unimaginable amount of sleepless nights due to your stupidity. Are you employed? Probably not, because I can't imagine you holding a job very long when your colleagues or superiors say something you don't like. And by this elementary response you clearly aren't capable of articulating whatever stupid point you may or may not have. Go to sleep child. Biafra is a pipe dream. If it does ever come true it will definitely not include the SS. grin

As a Rivers Indigene the thing I notice the most is that Igbo people are plenty in Rivers State. They marry men/women from Rivers State and are automatically entitled to all the benefits from being a Rivers indigene, RSSDA scholarships, Business start-up schemes, Civil Service positions, and political appointments, etc. On the contrary, when Rivers people go to igboland to live and do business they are immediately ostracized and the igbo's be sure to let you know that you are not an indigene. Like I said this is from my own personal experience and understanding. Igbo's stand to gain more by attaching the SS to their desired nation. But I really don't know many SS people or to be more specific, Rivers people who are willing to be a part of Biafra or any nation the Igbos create. The SS comprises so many ethnic Minorities that what would really be the benefit to being apart of Biafra? The Igbo's dominated us economically, socially and culturally during the period before the civil war. That will not change under Biafra, in fact dare say, it will be worse! The SS is best served to remain in Nigeria or to create their own nation. Biafra is not for the SS.

Partially correct. Armed Police personnel have stormed the office with INEC administrative staff from outside of the state to collect materials. PDP and APC lawyers are carting out election materials as we speak.

According to my police source currently at INEC office the generator sets used to power the entire facility has been dismantled and their access to NEPA transmission has been cut off making access to digital evidence within the INEC facility more difficult. A cover up will soon be exposed.

Barcanista is a very silly person. As an Ogoni man I can say that this news alone gives our people more hope than that of the previous dullard. GEJ clearly did not care about the Ogoni people since the UNEP report had been collecting dust for more than 3 years. Son of the Niger Delta indeed....
PoliticsIkuru, Secondus Admits Wike Has A Very Bad Case At The Election Tribunal!!! by hydroking23(op): 5:07pm On Jun 21, 2015
Ikuru, Secondus Admits Wike Has A Very Bad Case at The Election Tribunal, lawyers Search For Technicality.

Tele-Ikuru and PDP national Chairman Uche Secondus lament over Nyesom wike the care taker Governor having a bad case at the election tribunal, they have began to plan how to rigg the next election.

ACTING NATIONAL CHAIRMAN OF PDP, PRINCE UCHE SECONDUS; FORMER DEPUTY GOVERNOR OF RIVERS STATE, ENGR. TELE IKURU MAY DUMP CHIEF NYESOM WIKE.

In a move which was described as “very shocking”, a source very close to the former Deputy Governor of Rivers State, Engr. Tele Ikuru has revealed that Engr. Ikuru admitted to few of his confidants and kinsmen that the PDP in Rivers State has a very bad case. The source also revealed that Prince Uche Secondus reasons in the same manner. Tele said “PDP has a bad case. Our lawyers said so, but that they would see what they can do technically…but that it is a very very bad case”
When asked if Prince Secondus was aware and what it meant for their political family he said, “uncle is aware and he is doing something about it. Be rest assured that we will not lose out. Since 1999, have we lost out? The family will not lose out. Even when it seemed that we would lose out in 2007, did we lose? Did we lose out in the Deputy National Chairman of the Party? Even when Amaechi was sponsoring another candidate, I was there with him, I didn’t make noise because I knew that Prince Uche Secondus can never lose out. He gets what he wants. Didn’t we get the speaker?”

What the source considered shocking were his subsequent comments. According to the source who insisted on anonymity, the former deputy governor, who also betrayed his first principal, Sir Celestine Omehia, was quoted as saying that “if Wike is removed today, Ikuniyi would still be the Speaker, the Acting Governor that would conduct the election, we can use that to negotiate with the stronger party, whether PDP or APC”. When he was reminded that Ikunyi may also lose his case and not returned in the House, he said “the Speakers case will end at the Court of Appeal, which will be maximum 8 months, but Wike’s case will take another 2 months in the Supreme Court. So Wike will be in office when the House of Assembly Election will be conducted so Ikuniyi would win again and will be returned as Speaker. As Speaker he would negotiate the future of the family when the time comes, just be rest assured the family will not lose” but they seemed to forget that the police which was instrumental to their election victory will not be available for them again.

The game of wits has just started in the PDP; only time will tell the winner.

PoliticsCaretaker Governor Nyesom Wike May Be Removed!! by hydroking23(op): 4:52pm On Jun 21, 2015
Tele-Ikuru single handedly jupadised Wike’s election by acting as an agent for Nyesom wike in the April 11 gubernatorial election, section 45(1) of the Electorial act 2010 as amended states.

The insinuation making the round that Engr. Ikuru deliberately showed up during the Collation of the Governorship Results at INEC Office in Port Harcourt and forced his way to sign the Final Result of Governorship Election, contrary to section 45(1) of the Electoral Act, 2010 (as Amended), was a concerted effort. The Electoral Act forbids a person in the position of a Deputy Governor to serve as Agent of a political party, but Engr. Ikuru, as if to curry favour from Chief Wike went to the centre and eased out Barr. Chima Boms and Barr. George Ariolu who were the actual agents of the party. As, the Supreme Court has put very clearly, the effect of Engr. Ikuru’s signature on the Form EC8D, which is the Return on the Election has render it null and void.

The game of wits has just started in the PDP; only time will tell the winner.

I too live in that area, Farm road 1. I never pass that bridge because it is terrible. But since you are aware the bridge collapsed 4 years ago, then you must have been living in the area before the Airport road and the flyover was finished? Those were the days of TRUE suffering, but now we're enjoying the smooth road and the completed flyover thanks to Amaechi! I just wish the East-West road that goes under the flyover would be completed, but we all know that lies with our President and we are STILL waiting!!

This is a very shameful and ridiculous situation for our Government. Partisanship aside, GEJ proves to us over and over again he is incapable of handling the affairs of this country. He clearly has no control over his government. Domestically Nigeria is in economic peril. Internationally Nigeria is a laughing stock and is being rubbished left and right. We must put this to an end.

PoliticsHow Are You And Your Family Faring During This Election Period? by hydroking23(op): 5:54pm On Feb 27, 2015
I'm making this thread to get an idea of how people are faring in their day to day lives while our leaders and aspirant leaders are busy fighting and abusing themselves prior to the upcoming elections. As for me, I moved to Port Harcourt Nigeria in 2008 from the U.S. and got a job at a Rivers State Government agency. It was a challenging transition, but things started of very well. Our annual budgets were released on time, we executed many projects in various sectors of the economy, and our work was the talk of the town and of Nigeria for 5+ years. Our salaries were ALWAYS paid on time, a rare event in Nigeria. I got married, I was able to travel every so often, I bought a new 2 bedroom flat and bought a car. My wife and I lived a very modest yet comfortable life. Enter 2013. Things started to go down hill. The job that I had slowly but surely started to decline. Our annual Budget wasn't flowing as usual and salaries started to come late. Due to lack of funds we weren't able to execute any new projects and we were struggling to close out existing projects. The constant dilemma was, cut salaries or abandon execution on projects? My office dried up faster than you could imagine. But it wasn't just my office, Government agencies across the state and even in nearby states were facing similar circumstances. It was at this point I started to consider prospects of looking for another job before things got worse financially for me and my family. I traveled back to the U.S. and as God would have it, I was fortunate to secure a job back in the U.S.

The economic recession that had ravaged the U.S. had run it's course, and employment opportunities started to come back to America. Initially I was reluctant to leave, but I knew it was for the best because I was guaranteed a steady and timely paycheck, job security, and an unbiased un-politically motivated working environment. My wife told me to at least test out the job while she holds down the fort in PH. In the early stages of 2014 I began to notice that the money I was sending my wife, approx $500 every two weeks was starting to get higher and higher in the naira equivalent. When I started my new Job in April of 2014, the first money I sent to Nigeria was approx N80,000. As the year went on, that amount gradually rose to 85k, then to 91k and as of last week the money my wife received was 100k naira just from the ordinary $500 I send! This was good news! I make dollars so it's to our benefit, but she normally tells me about the complaints of her friends and family of the rising cost of food in the market, and just recently fuel was selling in PH for N100 per liter, that was after the price was reduced to about 87. I was confused. Everywhere around the world, the price of fuel is dropped like crazy. When I first came back to the U.S. the price for fuel was close to $4.00 a gallon and in just as of last week it has dropped to barely $2.00 a gallon. So why would the cost of fuel in Nigeria reduce by such a small amount? Only to now rise again? What is really happening?

I normally read the Nigerian newspapers online and this forum to get the gist of what is happening in Nigeria, and I hear these reports from the Federal government saying that the Nigerian economy is strong and is booming, then I hear the opposition scream that trillions and trillions of Naira have been stolen and the economy is on the verge of collapse. Such a confusing situation!! From my own experience, I don't get the sense that the economy is in such good shape. With A currency that is falling in value every day, rising cost of goods, government agencies losing their funding. What is really happening? Do any of you have similar stories? How are you all faring? Do these people who are ready to kill themselves for our votes and support, really have us in mind as they strive to lead Nigeria? This is our country, so let's leave all the abuse and bad mouthing and let's gist about the real situation on ground that we're all facing in our everyday lives!

I can't wait hear all of your feedback cheesy
PoliticsRe: REVEALED : Why America Quit Helping Jonathan Govt Find Chibok Girls. by hydroking23(m): 12:37am On Feb 26, 2015
These are serious accusations. The one consistent thing we know is that the military has been compromised under GEJ. All major stakeholders agreed that the Nigerian Military should have had no problem what so ever in curtailing the activities, spread and scope of Boko Haram. Yet all this while, the complete opposite has been the reality. We've witnessed Troops being killed, Troop Mutiny, Military bases being overrun, Weapons cache's being looted like foods stuff from a market, and low troop morale. The toll on civilians has also been harsh with towns being taken over, innocent civilians dead, missing or displaced and so many other atrocities. All the while the U.S. has been consistent is saying that the Nigerian military has not been serious or honest in their dealings when provided with all the logistical and tactical information necessary to wipe out Boko Haram.

Now all of a sudden as the election gets closer, we hear calls for election postponement. That is followed by rhetoric from the Presidency and the Security leadership that Boko haram will be defeated before the rescheduled elections. Then we see the miraculous resurgence of the Nigerian Military; Boko Haram terrorists are being killed in droves, new military equipment is falling out of the sky and the coalition of African nations has now formed to totally wipe out this menace of Boko Haram. What exactly hindered this progress before? This is a question that has casually been addressed by GEJ saying that he didn't take Boko Haram serious. A very sad but telling admission. In conclusion this turn around in the fight against Boko Haram is either a Miracle in the making or there's been an evil plot that has been unfolding before our very eyes. I believe the latter is the case.

The OP should re-evaluate the title of this thread. Finish for where? My ears hurt from listening to his ad hominem filled rants against Amaechi and the APC. He did not give any DETAILS about the strides this government has made during this administration. Nor did he give any insight to how they will take this nation forward, despite the numerous challenges ahead which were highlighted by Amaechi. Not convincing at all.
PoliticsRe: US Condemns Postponement Of Nigeria’s Elections by hydroking23(m): 4:02pm On Feb 08, 2015
It's amazing that people on here are saying that the US should mind their business because they refused to sell Nigeria weapons. Why should they sell us sophisticated technology when Boko Haram has raided our armory and stolen our own weaponry. We have no track record of securing our own personnel and equipment yet America should give us the benefit of the doubt? That is truly insane.
PoliticsRe: 21 INEC Resident Commissioners Reject Postponement Of Elections by hydroking23(m): 7:38pm On Feb 07, 2015
There is no reason for the election to be postponed. All calls for the election to be postponed must be rejected. If GEJ cannot keep Nigerians safe for 4+ years, what makes him think we should allow him to continue for another 6 weeks? This craziness must come to an end. Allow the elections to hold so Nigerians can decide their fate.

Seamless access to my office files.

Cortana is amazing with directions, scheduling and recommendations

Did I mention NFC tap to share files and pay for items since my debt card is linked to my phone. A feature that Apple totally copied from Microsoft.
