iamlammy: I’ll advise getting the 590w or 620w (not tested yet) if you’re later able to buy on fouani or offline Had an existing panel, that's why I stuck with 555w. Now, I'm discovering that the existing panel is not as it seems,as it supplies me around 270w max @ peak sunshine. Plus the difference between 555 and 615 is 'only' 60W ... |

Pv panel finally came in. 555W Jinko. I can now see why many people prefer smaller panels, particularly in tall buildings. Thing is as heavy as lead. Getting it up a roof can be a serious hassle.
Also I realised that the previous one I ordered from Alaba was polycrystalline, and was not up to the slated 550w. It was a rip-off that couldn't have been more than 400W. Those ppl are crooks.
Now I'm wondering whether to still run it in parallel with the 555w or just stick to the 555w alone...

twosquare: You should get more than the 555 sha. Fouani will show you how much you will be paying for delivery on their website. Mine was ₦15k. I didn't see the delivery quote on the payment site for some interesting reason. I have an existing 550w but it's not good enough. So I need a better one. I'll just parallel both so the output can be better. |

twosquare: Nothing special. The Ecoflow Delta 2. Setup: Jinko solar panel 555 (you can go for more so far it stays within the maximum amps and voltage), Mc4 to X60 connectors (12AWG; the lower the number, the better). Boss how did you determine how much to pay to ship your panel from fouani? I wish to get the 555w & I'm in Akure. |

saintmm: The story is rich and it's an encouragement to all. But the shade on a particular tribe is a distaste for me. The truth is Tosin's case of assistance is still on on the exceptional cases. All tribes are guilty of the same thing. Even in that same Lagos do you know of how many moniepoints would have come up before Tosin's moniepoint? I will prefer a post on how Tosin's ability attracted that man to invest in his project rather than the tribal/regional castigation, after all we all are guilty of it one way or the other I agree with you. The Yorubas are not perfect at all. In fact, this is just one success story out of many failures. Besides, the Igbos are far more adept at business growth and partnerships than the Yorubas. So this post should rather have been about the attributes and secret ingredients through which Moniepoint was built and succeeded. |

But what does the bypass mean. Bypass simply means you can use the device while charging. Several other products do not support pass-through current. |

thuao: So I eventually connected the D2 to power the whole house
The issue now is that, I wanted a load separación, so the most sockets in the kitchen will not be on the D2, but on Nepa, However, the way the house was wired make it almost imposible as the kitchen and parlor on the same phase or so Meaning I can separate the kitchen power from the D2 without affetcting parlor as well.
But I saw that while, charging with AC/Nepa and using the D2, that the device has a bypass capacity , that allows power from mains to go to the house directly, bypassing the D2.
Pls I need exact info on this
Does it mean, when there is light, I can use anything, since the light will bypass the D2. You can only use below the rated 1800W power of the D2 |

And its place on open space in the compound I stay facing the sun and not on ceiling.
Prior to this, first Canadian panel had issue with my MC4 as no light input was observe on Ecoflow which necessitate my running and get another, now the above is still not given what I expected and he is saying my station will need two solar panels. That guy played a smart one. You should return the one he sold you. He should at least replace it with jinko or what you asked for, not what he felt like selling you. Be firm. |

oz4real83: This is exactly what most married men go through, they carry all family responsibilities, whether the women are working or not, and yet they don't threaten to leave the marriage all because the wives are not making financial contributions to the marriage. . A woman is doing what most men have always done, she complains and wants to leave the marriage . May God bless our men. And this is the problem. A woman switches roles and plays the man's role, empowering him to be less than a man because she is bearing the responsibilities of their family and so on. Then she cries foul because the man is not 'manning up'. No man will ever man up in that condition. You have empowered him thus far. The trend will only continue. A lot of evil has been taught in the name of submission. Taking care of a man (and his responsibilities) is not submission. It is empowering him to become less of a man. Now you are crying foul; the man is not the main problem. You are. You became something that you were not meant to be. OP, move out of the house and renew your mind with the right information. Find yourself. Become who you should be, not who society is imposing on you. |

twosquare: So, let me journal here for the sake of others and the future who will learn from it. I used our submersible water pump on the Delta 2. It is rated 350 watts. You can see the specs in the screenshot. I don't know if anything had been changed in the pump, but the first surge is around 1000 watts before it settled at 915 watts continuous load.
The fans, as usual, came on fully, and at 100% battery, I only had 1 hour, or should I say 56 minutes, as registered on the screen. Well, it handled it well and pumped for that 60 mins because we have not had light in our compound for 4 days since the first rain.
WHAT NOT TO DO: Immediately after use, I decided to charge it since the battery was already depleted to 7%. When I plugged it in, a red symbol of a thermometer flashed on the screen continuously. It won't charge or go away.
WHAT I DID: Reset the BMS, allowed the Delta 2 to cool, and even opened a standing fan on it to hasten the "cooling". I read the solution online on what to do when such a flash signal happens. It means the internal temperature is high.
In fact, fear first caught up with me say hope no be say my stuff don pai now, upon all my partner's warnings not to use it.
So, when you continuously use something heavy on it, before you rush to charge it, wait it out for an hour or more before charging again. My submission. Hmm. Everybody go dey bow for your D2. Sha be careful. 🤣 |

Phones › Re: I Bought This Powerbank For 1.2 Million Naira PHOTOS by Hydronium(m): 5:20pm On Feb 10, 2025 |
twosquare: Not for Ecoflow, but DIY solar systems... Not possible with that. It will fry it. max voltage for Delta 2 is around 60...amps is 15 max.
One Jinko is 13.54 amps, and the voltage is 40.99 or so...using two will just puff... Series multiplies the voltage, parallel multiplies the current. D2 will take the 15A it needs from the current pool, it's only the voltage we need to watch out for. So yeah parallel connection works. I'm looking to overpanel before the cloudy days |

Babatundehy: Does anyone have good information about a reputable, tested and trusted brand making lithium ion phosphate battery? I'm looking to buy one, 12v 100ah, the 12v 100ah Ecoflow branded battery on JUMIA is about 425k. There are other brands like odiple and cordi energy on jumia, and they cost 100k less than the Ecoflow's. I'm already thinking to go for the Ecoflow as I want to assume the BMS in that of Ecoflow will be better than that in these not-so-popular brands, I stand corrected 🫢, thus I'm putting this up here. I have read reports of the BMS failing in brands like c worth and even felicity, I definitely do not want to deal with that, I'll be waiting for your replies 🫡😊 Is there extra battery for river 2 pro? |
