Babatundehy: I don't know the streets of Akure so we'll even as I have been here for some time, but coming from Adegbola, the garage where people board Lagos buses, at that junction, turn to the right, pass the road leading down to Arakale, keep going until you're at the next roundabout, then continue like you're going towards the market, it is the first solar store youll see by your right. I'll include the numbers on the receipt here, that should help. Many thanks bro. I took a risk and ordered from Alaba intl today. Should be on ground tomorrow. went for 550W, 49V Canadian solar. |

Babatundehy: I talked to them this morning and I was told their "handler" was unable to send the package over to Akure today as the designated driver didn't get enough passengers, I made them understand how unhappy I am and they promised it should be delivered latest by Monday, we will see how that goes. I asked if they could add one more, but they said the one I ordered has already been packaged and sent to their "handler", I'll update again on Monday. grateful for the feedback. They should have done better. incidentally, I placed my order today, and was told it'd be delivered tomorrow or Monday at the latest. So we'll see. |

Babatundehy: This grid thing is a serious problem, luckily the power comes on here for about 3-4hours, refrigerator works throughout that time and Ecoflow is already fully charged within an HR so I just use the stored charge for a few more hours and I'm okay until the next day waiting for BEDC, during the rainy season it was a lot better. The number I chatted up told me delivery is only after payment and that sending the item out is only done the day after delivery, they seem to be strict with their 9am-4pm contact time, my chat from yesterday evening wasn't replied to until after 9am today, but I'll see how it goes tomorrow and update here. Well then 🙏🏿 |

Babatundehy: Yes, these are the pictures. I appreciate. What part of Arakale did you get it from? I'd like to visit the place tomorrow and see if I can get better prices. Novel solar have been trying to push their only products (180w) on me @55k per one for that matter |

Babatundehy: Oh wow that's cool, I was doubting them 😂, Yeah I am in Akure, after asking around and having done my own research, I decided to go with AFRICELL, the 300 watts mono I bought cost me 83,000 naira, bought at arakale. Where in Arakale please? Also, is it possible to ask the vendor to send 2 pieces of the xt60 cable tomorrow. I can pay from here. Guess I can sort this whole thing this weekend. National grid been falling like dry twigs from a dead tree. Can't deal any longer |

Babatundehy: I am in Akure too lol, I walked all of arakale axis to adegbola yesterday, no one even knows what the cable is, I went there with pictures but it still didn't help. I placed the order from the vendor today and I was told they ship the next day (tomorrow). I ordered for the one meter cable (20k) with delivery makes 24k, let me see what happens tomorrow after delivery so we confirm how true the seller is, and what the cable is like before you proceed. I am not sure, but I think a clean job will be buying extra male and female mc4 connectors and installing them on the other end of the cable coming from the solar panels, that other end with the mc4 connectors installed will be plugged into the mc4 connectors on the other end of the Xt60 cable, a picture of this looks cleaner in my head. You got the delta, I think the 550watts jinko panel you mention will work good for you, some people prefer to buy two panels (e.g 250*2) claiming should there be some sort of hazard/damage then there'll be a panel left, i prefer the single one. You're in Akure? How coincidental 🤯. I know the gadget world vendor. I know their store from my days of trying to fix my broken pixel 6a (earlier this year, lol). So I feel it should be assessable. They were trying to get me to order their panels (200w) but I think I'd rather buy in Akure due to cost of delivery., although its quite pricey here too 😔 Regarding panels, what kinds are you using? |

Babatundehy: Thank you, I'll be using that link, already talked to the seller, I'll be getting it sent over to me, can't find it anywhere else. I got my solar extension cables yesterday, I got 4mm, better too thick than too thin, distance from the panel to the ecoflow is about ten metres. Also, do you think it's wise to use a 550W 48v jinko panel. Or will it be better to combine 200W 24v in series? I'm presently considering which to go for. |

Babatundehy: Yeah that came with mine too, and I had the same thought, I don't drive so much and I don't intend to move the power station around, that makes the cable near useless to me. I won't be proceeding because from my research and answers to questions I got from the official Ecoflow group on Facebook, I was told that car charger cable is designed to not pull more than 100 watts so as not to burn the cigarette lighter port of the car, and that it would limit the amperage allowed to pass through from the solar panels. on that note, if you're in lagos, there's this: https://jiji.. ng/ikeja/solar-energy-products/ecoflow-delta-river-solar-connector-cable-2RAT6lvDtb8fbEbciERfK7Vh.html?utm_campaign=shareButton&utm_source=android_share&utm_medium=android-share-button&via=whatsapp I'm not in lagos so I'll exhaust all my options here before I consider waybilling from lagos. |

There's a car charger to xt60 cable included in the pack. I've been wondering if it's possible to adapt (i. e. Cut and join 😆) it for the solar mc4 connection... |

Babatundehy: It says there the delta can take solar input of 500watts max with voltage not more than 60, using two of the africell 300 watts i plan to use won't work for you, voltage will exceed 60, whatever combination and connection you choose, just don't exceed 60volts. Don't be too close to 60volts either, the panels current can be higher than the max for the unit, this is fine as the delta will only take the current it needs, voltage is forced into the unit, current is picked up by the unit, the difference. Africell 300w is 24v, I believe, so series still brings it up to 48v but is the power not too much at 600w? |
Phones › Re: I Bought This Powerbank For 1.2 Million Naira PHOTOS by Hydronium(m): 4:24pm On Nov 02, 2024 |
Babatundehy: Maximum solar input for the river 2 pro is 220watts, 11v to 50v, I'll be using africell 300 watts panel so as to constantly max out the river 2 pro solar input. Considering efficiency loss of the panel, the 300 watts will surely not produce 300 watts, and it is said on ecoflow website that bigger panels can be used as long as 50volts isn't exceeded. Nice. What solar panels d'you suggest for delta 2?

dryakson: Hi, guys. I saw a 1300wh Skyrun solar generator at a reasonable price with 1 year warranty. Is this a good buy? Although it's no longer on jumia, I've checked it out. Seems like good specs for a new entry. However I buy these kind of things based on past/recent user reviews, I'd rather not be a front tester with my 700k. Plus it's 1000W only. I don't think it has fast charging too. I'd rather add some more and buy ecoflow with solid ratings and higher power/surge etc. This is my opinion. |

Valto: one pcs of 555w Jinko should do. but if not being mobile powerbank, i think it is overpriced. a 24v 1. 5kw hybrid inverter 24v 2.5kwh lifepo4 lithium battery with 2pcs of jinko 555w panels will perform far better and is far cheaper. Far cheaper? But just the battery is already really expensive? |

Laughnow419: sorry. my boss them no vex.
it is actually a very good price at 1.5 million o. omo no be joke. newer Ecoflow can also be expanded u don't need an engineer. They can do turn by turn charging just like bluetti ep900 to reduce nepa bill. Im so happy these companies are in Nigeria. I personally begged Ecoflow on their official youtube handle to have a branch here and sell for us in Nigeria. I personally adviced them to sell on jumia. Before now these things were very very expensive especially with importation. The only problem I have with all solar generators is repair. We don't have repairers here. In Port Harcourt here when I went to spar and shoprite they don't even know what is a solar generator how much more to repair. I was explaining and explaining. lolol. looks like your prayers have been answered. |

IndexMode: Can the Delta 2 power only a 2hp AC overnight. Just this item. Powering 2hp is a tall order. The Delta 2 has a 1800w output with up to 2200W allowance for high powered devices. Your 2hp will likely require about 3kw as starting wattage. Then the battery is 1kwh capacity, thus even if your AC powered, it'd only last about 30 minutes. N. B. You're not going to get any power station that can power your AC through the night. |

Laughnow419: Ecoflow delta 2 cost 1.6 million naira Yoobao en1200q cost just 800k meaning ecoflow is 100% higher in terms of price but 100% the same in terms of battery capacity. If u have this 1.6 million add 100k and buy this my type as it is 2kwh capacity 100% higher in capacity than Ecoflow and actually comes with a solar panel all set. On the other hand Ecoflow will be good for you if you're staying in a bush where there is no electricity as Ecoflow has 1000w of solar input. We cannot talk of fast charging as all three solar generators here are extreme fast in charging. when u compare this Ecoflow to my own it is 100% higher in terms of solar input when u compare this Ecoflow to my yoobao en1200q it is 150% higher in terms of solar input
But if u know u can get atleast 2 hours of Nepa a day Ecoflow is not a good option here. But if u know there is no Nepa at all at all and 1kwh is enough for you for that amount Ecoflow is the best option here. One advantage ecoflow has over Yoobao is warranty as Yoobao sellers are individual and no warranty. Ecoflow is 5 years warranty. Incidentally you were looking at the price of Delta 2 max. I was referring to 'plain' delta 2. See below. In fact the price just dropped from 800k to 754k.
