But in this election they are not needed

Am from ifedayo LGA same with Sola adeyeye but he lost even in Ora his hometown in 2014 senatorial election but Olorunda LGA cleared the gap and send him to senate

Base on political permutation, Ademola Adeleke cannot win the seat for these reasons; Mudashir Hussein stepped down for Isiaka, Mudashir is from Egbedore, Najeem Salam is from Ejigbo, SSG Adeoti is from Iwo, Peter Power and Eteh are from Ikire, Majeed Alabi is from Olaoluwa, Idiat (Commissioner) is from Ede. Adeleke is from Ede too. So mathematically, APC has strong politicians from the three Federal constituencies. Sentimentally, Adeleke will win Ede but not convincingly, they'll have the votes splitted. Meanwhile, APC will win the other 2 Federal constituencies with landslide. Quote me anywhere.
Lol

Wash away politicians like Peter power(action)
Idiat that was nearly beaten by her pple

Ejigbo will be well shared by Pdp Nd APC
Hussein na mush room politician

He does not even have a house in Ejigbo

Politics › Adeleke’s Family Lambasts Aregbesola Over Comments On Late Senator by HzRF(op): 12:02am On Jul 07, 2017
The Adeleke family said Aregbesola was taking advantage of the death of Adeleke to fester his political nest.

The family of late Senator Isiaka Adeleke on Thursday lambasted the Osun State Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, over comments credited to him on the death of the former governor.

The Adeleke family said Aregbesola was taking advantage of the death of Adeleke to fester his political nest.

In the statement signed by the Adeleke Dynasty of Ede, Osun State, the family said Aregbesola’s statements were un-statemanly.
The statement reads in full:

AREGBESOLA UNSTATEMANLY OUTBURSTS

Our attention has been drawn to statements credited to Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, the governor of Osun State, at the campaign of his party (APC) held at Oba Laoye Grammar School, Ede on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, to the effect, that he unstatemanly derided Dr. Deji Adeleke and the painful sudden death of indomitable and lovable Senator Isiaka Adeleke.

Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, should have realized, that to all human beings, death is inevitable, and that in Yoruba custom, no one talks ill of the dead. It is therefore shocking and inhuman, that Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola was literally dancing on the grave of late Senator Isiaka Adeleke, his senior in political arrangement of Nigeria by all description. This same scenario he played out at his infamous Ogbeni till day break programme only few days after the death and burial of Senator Isiaka Adeleke. Resurfacing a programme he has rested for three (3) years.

What’s more appalling, is Aregbesola outburst, as widely quoted in major newspapers, that Senator Isiaka Adeleke sudden death “has affected the psyche” of Dr. Deji Adeleke. How one wants to ask? If Aregbesola has a giant, a towering personality and eminent person like late Senator Isiaka Adelek in his family, and he lost such distinguished personality to the cold hands of death, will he take to the streets and dance merrily? Dr. Deji Adeleke, since the demise of his loving brother of blessed memory, along with other members of the family, have been peacefully mourning him and conducting themselves in the best of human behaviour, receiving the low and mighty who came to symphatise.

Why should Ogbeni Aregbesola carry politics to this ridiculous end and acting like a tin god, who will never leave the office as governor and this transient world as a human being. To those of us living, inclusive of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, we don’t know how we will end it up. Senator Isiaka Adeleke died gloriously. The whole world celebrated his death and the universe stands still over his transition.

What is the sin of the Adeleke family in putting one of their own forward to contest the July 8 Osun West Senatorial By-Election, if that is what is giving Ogbeni Aregbesola some concern.
The Adeleke family has come a long way in the socio-economic and political history of Nigeria without any taint or blemish. It produced late Senator Isiaka Adeleke as a governor in 1992, at age of 34, when today so called “political champion” are not heard of or known.

Let Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola know, that in today’s Nigeria, Dr ’Deji Adeleke is enjoying respect and dignity from those who matter for more than four decades. He had come a long way to be where he is and he trudges on.
If Aregbesola is talking of a contentious Certificate of Occupancy, is he the one that provided the billions of naira that put Adeleke University up as “Harvard” of Nigeria? Political envy should not be carried to this unenviable extent, Mr. Aregbesola!

guys above dont derail this topic.its about the victory of apc senatorial candidate hon andrew uchendu against senator sekibo at the election tribunal.its a great victory for apc in rivers,a victory for amaechi against wicked wike and would reduce wike's reelection bid.earlier this week, senator magnus abbe, hon wihioka and some apc legislators' victories were affirmed by the tribunal which is giving obuah and wiked sleepless nights.i hope the appeal court reaffirms these victories.
anyway, uchendu is an ikwerre man from emohua lga and ikwerre is considered one of the clans or tribes of iboland just like egba and ijesas are to the yorubas.its just recently that ikwerre started igniting their own ethniciting and denying their igboness which is allowed and most of them are against biafra but their ibo origin is clear.finally, elele shares boundary with ohaji-egbema lga of imo state alongside owerelu.anybody coming through imo state must pass through one of these towns.its no on the way to or borders ogoniland like someone earlier said.up apc.up amaechi.down wike

StOla:
The real question is what was Azikiwe's business contesting for elections in the SW. Nigeria was not yet independent, yet the Igbos were already planning how to take over everywhere.

We knew him to be born in Zungeru which is in the North, and tribally from Onitcha in the East, and politically a son of Herbert Macaulay in Lagos the capital of Nigeria.

So what exactly was his business competing outside his land of birth or tribe, when other regions were having indigenous Premiers?

Anyway, Awolowo who understood parliamentary politics knew that you don't become premier until a government was formed. Azikiwe found himself seating on his single seat which he won, and he still had his band of thoughtless Yoruba NCNC party members who also had won seats, yet were not ambitious to aspire to the Premiership in their own region.
All these are side talk trying hard to justify Awolowo actions

Wether he is right or wrong isnt the question neither is Azik right or wrong to aspire to be yoruba P. M

Who was the first to introduce tribalism?
Awolowo?
Yes or No

Education › LAUTECH Crisis: Ooni Pledges N500,000 To Support #fundlautech Initiative by HzRF(op): 6:56am On Jun 22, 2017
The Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Ogunwusi, on Monday pledged to support the #FundLAUTECH initiative with N500,000.
The monarch made the pledge when the #FundLAUTECH team, a group of alumni members of the troubled institution, paid a courtesy call on him at his palace in Ile-Ife, Osun State.
Led by the initiator of the project and a former president of the university’s Student Union, Bayo Adeyinka, the team presented an elaborate proposal on the #FundLAUTECH initiative to the monarch and highlighted the short and long term objectives of the initiative.
Mr. Adeyinka told PREMIUM TIMES on Monday night that the #FundLAUTECH project team presented three requests, which were welcomed by the monarch.
He said the team was there “to seek royal endorsement for the initiative, to seek His Imperial Majesty’s intervention in the ongoing crisis in LAUTECH (and) to seek his consent as the Chairman of the Governing Board of the #FundLAUTECH initiative.”
According to Mr. Adeyinka, the Ooni who was impressed by the initiative, pledged a donation of N500,000 and issued a cheque of N250,000 to the team.
“His Imperial Majesty who was visibly impressed by the presentation pledged a donation of N500,000 (Five Hundred Thousand Naira Only) to the project and issued a cheque of N250,000 to affirm his commitment,” Mr. Adeyinka said.
“This was sequel to the information provided on the long term objectives of the initiative and the potential impact on the University.

“His Imperial Majesty further assured the team that he was in consultations with the Visitors to LAUTECH and assured that the current impasse would soon be a thing of the past.”
Mr. Adeyinka also explained that the team’s proposal that the monarch superintendent the board governing the project, as chairman, equally received approval.
“We are grateful for this royal endorsement and donation and we will strive to justify the trust reposed in us,” Mr. Adeyinka said.

Politics › APC Disowns Twitter Handle Over Opinion Poll On Buhari’s Govt by HzRF(op): 12:35pm On Jun 01, 2017
THE All Progressives Congress (APC) yesterday distanced itself from an opinion poll reportedly conducted by the party through a Twitter handle, which scored the President Muhammadu Buhari administration low.

In a statement in Abuja, its National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, said the Twitter handle, @APC Nigeria, with which the poll was conducted did not belong to APC.

The party, however, failed to disclose its official Twitter handle.

The statement reads: “The attention of the APChas been drawn to some false and misleading news reports that the party conducted a poll to assess the performances of President Muhammadu Buhari administration.

“For the record, the APC has not conducted or authorised any assessment poll on the President Buhari administration. The media and indeed the general public are advised to ignore the questionable poll.

“The twitter handle, “@APCNigeria” with which the so called “assessment poll” was purportedly conducted is not the official twitter account of the APC.

“Unfortunately, media organisations that published the story did not verify from the party’s publicity department the authenticity of the unauthorised poll credited to the party.

“Recall that the party had on February 21, 2016 distanced itself from the twitter handle, @APC Nigeria, following a similar false report credited to the party on the outcome of the Benue South Senatorial rerun election.”
