What a shameless set of folks that have no regard for themselves much less the people of their states. Here's a few questions for anyone that have answers, who's call is it that the money be released to fight boko harm? is it simply that anything the 36 governors co-sign on gets automatic approval? and lastly, how are the south-west, south-south and south east concerned with the fight against boko haram?
Agriculture / Sheep Or Ram Breeds In Nigeria by IAIT: 7:13pm On Jul 20, 2017
Hi Guys,

I am a prospective farmer in the making, I have had the dream of animal rearing since i was a little boy and i am glad that my dreams are nearing fruition. I have done some limited research on some of the different breeds (Balami, Yankasa, Uda, West African dwarf) that are predominant in the Northern and Western regions of Nigeria, but i would like you to please share your thoughts on what you may know on any of the difference breeds. What i would like to know are their appearance, size, disease tolerance, meat production, and business profitability. Any other valuable tips and information will also be highly appreciated.

Thank you in advance smiley

No one wishes death upon Buhari....

What baffles me most about the presidents absence from his seat of office is that he or anyone from his office have not thought it necessary to inform the nation for being away from his job for this long. It makes no sense!....we the people of Nigeria are the ones paying for the astronomical bills that will soon be slapped on the faces of the common Nigerian after his treatment assuming he left the country for medical reasons which at this point we don't even know if its true or not. Whats the deal will the lack of transparency? if rumors or news or whatever you may want to call it is true that he left for medical reasons, why not hand over power? why not? its not like Nigeria is benefiting from the lack of a president. If anything we'll save millions of dollars in docking fees from the number of days and months that the presidential jet is being parked-i hears its in the tune of a couple of thousand dollars/pounds a day.

This country tire me walahi

God we are tired of our current leaders, all of them! please produce for us leaders that will truly have the love of our nation at the center of their hearts. Ameen!

My answer is 256

11x11=4

22x22=16

33x33=256

I arrive at the answer because the result of the first equation in relation to the second is a factor of itself doubled. So makes sense that the difference between equation number 2 and 3 will be 16 (doubled). There you go!

We have been 'raped' so much by our government and and by own lack of self interest in our government dealings that i fear we have wasted decades of financial resources that could have been made to good use to the country. What is left?!

We will be foolish to think there isnt more of the money stash houses/apartments all over the country.

This is more about actions and the lack their of and not God anymore, we have got to stand up and putt an end to this...this is crazy!!

Everything you have mentioned is true! and I agree, but as much as you recognise the problem in nigeria agree that we need you do something fast however some nigerians infact most nigerians don't have the same mindset.

there are different categories of nigerians, we have the population who believes that nigerian will gets better
we have the population who are in complete denial
we have the population who thinks by praying, fasting or repeating things like "God help us in this country" that one day God would intervene.
we have the ones who say things like " I no want trouble o!", we have the population who thinks as long as the bad economy doesn't affect them no problem! they don't care about others and we have the ones (partisans) who are in support of the crooked politicians as long as theye are given cash gifts or bag of cheap rice grin . and ETC

so you see? the problem is not the politicians the people are the problem and the crooked politicians knows this
i mean how can a whole country not have common basic Amenities like electricity and running tap water? it's a shame!
so were do we start to liberate the masses?

The masses have to liberate themselves we have to wake up and smell the coffee if we don't know one is going to do it on our behalf. I bet if you sample a number of individuals from each of the categories you mentioned above you will find out that they are all not enjoying their mother country like some of our western counterparts are. The so called ones that only care about themselves regardless of the economic climate will complain about a handful of things from security or the lack their of, bad roads, bad governance and etc. So to me regardless of where we fall in each of the categories we will all like the country or should want the country to improve on it its many fronts of deficiencies. It affects us all whether we like it or whether we even care to admit or not.

The ultimate question is how long are we going to allow our fear to suppress us? what does it have to take for the common Nigerian to get up and say "enough is enough, we want real change". Forget real change that's too broad of a statement, we want pipe borne water, we want good roads, we want better welfare and then hold them accountable. They work for us and not the other way round, well in Nigeria it apparently and sadly is exactly the other way round.

There's a whole lot of misnformation been dished out concerning this Malabu deal. I honestly see it as this govt giving us something to talk about today, tovdistract us.

There's no way a field is worth $500bn.
an (oil prospecting license) OPL is not selling the field
They way OPL's are priced is very technical I can't go into it now, know that the amount paid for this OPL in question is very reasonable.
Government did not sell the field! they sold an OPL, this allows the buyers go and prospect for oil, if it's found that oil can be produced commercially and its economically viable, the company then come back for an OML (oil mining licences) which allows them to drill and produce from the field. Now during the aqusiction of an OML govt through NNPC would own a stake in the field ranges from 30%-55%. so the issue of government selling the field is false!

This Malabu field was awarded to Malabu oil owned by Then minister of oil (Dan Etete) by Abacha. The field has huge reserves 700mmboe I think, (certainly not worth $500bn, common don't be naive), SHELL and ENI wanted it. The little I've gather so far, is GEJ was able to broker an agreement between Malabu oil and SHELL and ENI. That the money paid was for the brokerage and he never got any of it. this sounds Dodgy to be honest, but if there was evidence they would've taken him to court and not this media farce we are seeing.

They are distracting you all and you're falling for it!

Are we saying its untrue because its a distraction? or are we saying its true and is a distraction? Either way this fraud happened and it happens to be yet another scam, fraud whatever we want to call it. The common theme or thing here at least to me is that the common Nigerian seems to be the sole victim time and time again. By the way thanks for dropping some knowledge seems you are bit 'in the know'...heres my point simply putt: Crime committed and theres no way any of this would have been to happen without some high ranking persons in the government. If i brokered a deal, trust me bro i am getting a share, some kind of share I am not quick to absolve GEJ and i am not saying you are.

Nigerians deserves the way they are treated by their politicians, infact nigerian politicians knows that their masses are cowards and zombies that's why they get away with all the looting.

the only thing nigerians knows how to do is praying and hopping that God will come down from the so called heaven and help them by performing magic grin

I couldn't agree with you more. They know we wont do anything about it, and they are correct because we just wont.

We are going to have to band together and present ourselves as a united front and demand what we want whatever it is it may be. We can start will portable water through Nigeria- no exceptions! Stable electricity through out Nigeria-no exceptions! I don't see why this should be a big deal or problem we have only gone at least 15-20 years without these basic amenities as a common Nigerian. Its time we the people of Nigeria get what we want, if the common 'retarded' senator seats in the house of assembly making millions monthly to only sleep through sessions then I DO NOT SEE ANY REASON WHY WE CANT GET stable water and electricity RIGHT NOW. If they are unwilling to cut their own pay as they seem unequivocally one of the more dysfunctional, incompetent and ill equipped lawmakers in modern history, then I don't want to hear anything about why we cant get those 2 basic things as of YESTERDAY actually as of last year.

Wake up Nigeria! Wake up!!

You are s.tupid if you believe that oil block is worth $500 dollars.

Nigeria's GDP all together is about $500 billion.

We sold an oilfield worth about 500 Billion dollars for a mere 1.5 Billion? Wow! way to go to the Federation. Even if its not truly worth 500 billion it has to worth at least a quarter of that(250 Billion)....thats a long ways from what this fools sold it for. The actually price of what the oil block worths is not the question, the question here is why sell it? and in the manner with which it was performed! Lets stay objective here and cutt out the crap!

Do you now see that all our leaders deserve to be putt literally on the chopping block? and by the way, how come GEJ hasnt been invited by EFCC ? this finding definitely warrants an over due invitation extended to him(the worst president Nigeria will ever know). There's no way any future president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria can out do GEJ in incompetence...no way!

This has got to be the biggest single fraud in Nigeria's history at least in the oil sector that we know of today, having said that, this is Nigeria we are talking about you just never know!

I would say not as bad as Mrs Johnathan though....now, let me address what she actually spoke about or should i say what i got from her interview.

Could it be true that Buhari appointed in office people he didnt know? according to the first lady, yes, why should we be surprised? this is politics and politic is politics anywhere in the world. I dont care who you are you will have to bend to the forces that got you into power, and this is a prime example. I must confess that i am surprised a little bit as He (Buhari) comes off as the type of president that would do this his 'way'. It looks to me like he didnt want to bite the fingers that got him in power.

Contact17:

Wa alaikum assalam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh

With regard to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) advising his companions to ask Uways al-Qurani to make du’aa’ for them, this only applied to his case. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) did not tell anyone among his Sahaabah to ask anyone to make du’aa’ for them and it wasn't a custom of the sahabas to do so.

Note: I didn't mentioned that it was not permissible to ask others to make dua but I cited Shaykh ibn‘Uthaymeen, who said it was better and more appropriate not to do so. You can read more about it in the link below.

https://islamqa.info/en/1945

And Allah knows best.

I will not go as far as saying asking some to make dua for you is 'Shirk' as OP had mentioned. I was only merely pointing out with evidence that it is very permissible to ask someone to make dua for you.

You may agree with me that there is enough evidence on both sides of the aisle on this topic. If you as a muslim are OK with asking someone to make dua for you then go ahead and if you feel like not doing so then thats fine too.

I am a big proponent for asking Alfas to pray on an individuals behalf with one condition, as long you know they are not your God.

May Allah forgive our short comings and give us the barakah for attempting to gain from one another, ameen!

Salamalekum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu!

Nice write up may Allah continue to guide us all and make us true followers of Islam, ameen!
Salamalekum !

I just want to add a few things or maybe clarify a few things as it relates to one of the items that talks about going to others(persons that you perceive are of closer ties/relationship to Allah). In the time of "The Prophet" PBUH, before his passing he mentioned to his companions that there would be a person(a man) that would come along, when he does, ask him to pray for you. The name of this individual is Uwais al-Qarani may Allah have mercy upon him. I have also included a link below as evidence.

http://www.sunnah.org/history/Uwais_al_Qarani.htm

This to me, tell me that we are allowed as alot of us do, to reach out to Alfas and others for prayers. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it as a practice!

I pray that Allah forgive our short comings and accept our deen, ameen!

Religion / Any Signs Of Ileya?! by IAIT: 9:44pm On Sep 02, 2016
Hi All-

I just want to get a gauge for how ileya is going or not in your area. Even if you are not a muslim you free and allowed to engage in this topic. So how are me measuring how ileya preparation is going? well, if you see any rams or cows tied down near the area you live or close to your work place then that's surely a sign.

Please take pictures and send it to us for our viewing.

I am in my mid 30's, a muslim ofcourse and right from childhood i and my friends always look forward to ileya because of the rams, we would take them grazing, show them off to our friends, take them fighting (silly). It was just alot of fun (dem good old days) for us, not so much for the animals, but fun nonetheless. So in the spirit of our childhood days please send pictures of rams and any other preparatory sign that shows ileya indeed is around the corner.

Fellow good minded Nigerians, isn't this the most troubling sight ever? I mean how can anyone explain to me(us) why we have this situation? the world currently is experiencing a fall in oil prices (i know we have seen the price go up recently but by and large its a huge fall from the triple digits it used to be)....theres a surplus of oil meaning theres more oil to be sold than is currently being sought. Quick question...how is there scarcity when there is a surplus? I mean there has to be real reason we are seeing these long lines across the nation, saying long line is a joke, this situation has the potential of crippling the nation.

We have moved beyond God help us, now, I think its us having to really help ourselves!

2. What locations(state, locale) in Nigeria does it make the most sense to establish it?
3. What unique challenges are there in this line of business?
