We gave him our passports and documents, he returned the documents without looking at them and held the passports.

While he was talking he was just laughing and he already scanned her passport.

Immigration officer- put your thumb here. Then he stamps my passport and said welcome and enjoy your stay.

No documents was checked. Not even the BRP letter or vaccine card. He didn’t even ask about the locator form or day 2 test. The officer was just all smiles and jokes.

I pray we all experience this kind of easy on our journey.

I've booked a hotel for the duration of my family's stay in Spain and received a confirmation in my inbox (free cancellation, no prepayment) but BLS's website states that "Email bookings are not accepted". How are you all handling this? Why would an email booking not be accepted in this time of Covid, I don't understand. Am I supposed to call the hotel and ask for some kind of letter to prove that the reservation is valid? Any tips you can provide will be appreciated. Thank you all

Bro I think you should just ignore it and submit the booking with free cancelation, why do they expect us to pay for something the visa is not sure.

Hi @lamajala. I've done so but either the verification code doesn't come, or it comes after a long delay, I enter it and then when I click "next", the page fails to load (504 gateway time-out error). Seems others aren't having this same issue...it's so frustrating

Maybe you should try to use another email that can receive the code on time or try another browser

BLS's website really isn't the best - I've been trying to search for a visa appointment for some days now (using her details) but I'm not able to get past the first page ("Appointment for the Visa Application Centre". The request keeps timing out and I get an error message stating 504 Bad Gateway which I understand happens when a website's server is malfunctioning. How's anybody able to book appointments if their website won't even work to allow you to see what's available?! Can someone who has successfully booked an appointment please share any tips that can help us? Is there a time of day when the website is more stable and appointment slots become available? I think where you're having issues is, after filling the first page, before clicking continue, you need to enter the email address and click request for verification code* a code will be sent to your email, you must enter the code before you can continue... I don't know if you've done all that.

Many thanks bro, I got my CPF yesterday from the receita federal without any interview.

If you got your visa in-person, I suggest you do it here especially if you don't know Portuguese.

You can fill the online form according to the consulate's instruction, print the document, upload it to the e-consular website and wait for it to be approved within the same or next working day. Then select an "interview" date. Basically, you will just give them the same documents you did online in-person and they would give you the cpf number.

I have never been to Brazil or even applied for a visa yet but I got mine done here because I needed it to enroll in an online course at a Brazilian University.

If you have not gone to collect your visa approval docs, just give them the printed docs the same day.

When I did mine, it didn't take up to 30 minutes.
