I don’t think it is necessary because they already have all your information on their system but if you wish to.

Another question, is 2-3m statement good also. Self employed.

The ECO doesn’t care about your balance, what matters is the inflow and outflow of cash running in your account and make sure it correlate with the amount you stated as your income. Yes 2-3m is okay and also make sure the amount budgeted for the trip is not more than 2-3 times your disposable income.

im worried something might have happend to the passport for them to tell ne that my emalil is bot on there record that i should go and do paid email again.

Bro I got the same message too on November 4th, you don’t need to worry, the message simply means they want to chop another money from you. What I did was I sent a message to this email: Visits.UKCustomerEnquiries@fco.gov.uk

NB: 39 working days today. I pray to hear from them tomorrow ooo.

Still in shock. Someone paid for priority with dependants. All got BRP mail that visa is successful. They have picked up their visas except the spouse who also got the same BRP mail. It is two weeks now still at DMC. Sent paid mail 3x still no headway.

I’m just curious as to the recent no appeal or administrative review right they’ve just implemented, I think it’s unfair. I remember me and my friend sitting together to write an admin review letter for her application in 2011 immediately after she got denied and she was called back and issued a visa, I can see some petty petty denials here that an admin review would have worked for but they’ve stopped it.

Oh I thought you were referring to the unavailability of appointment dates to limit or discourage people from applying.

I’ve not even bothered to track my application since, they need to remove that 15 days timeline for Nigerians, other countries are still getting theirs processed within 15 days though. My main bother is that I hope they don’t pull the American method on Nigerian applications because this sudden influx pass their power.

They can’t pull the “American Method” that is why they have the (priority service) because the sudden influx I believe is a “trap” set by the UK govt, more than 17,000 visas has been issued only this year alone, you think they don’t know what they’re doing? 99% of students that applied are approved this has drastically increased UK revenue saving them from Brexit and wreck from Covid-19, student visa fee alone is £348 + priority £220 + IHS £500+, then tuition fees minimum is £10k + living expenses, this is per student, and they know working 20hrs/week + 2yrs Post-study permit, you can’t recover all the money spent. Like someone rightly said “UK is doing PROMO” now

For those who are experiencing serious delay on their applications, this might not be totally unrelated to the current evacuation effort in Afghanistan. If you recently ring the home office on their paid line (from within the uk), you'd most likely hear something about the effort the home office is making to get some legit people out of Afhanistan as quickly as it can. Don't forget that this means they will be assessing thousands if not millions of applications from this part of the world as we speak. This means priority may be given to such applications over tourist visa applications. Quite unfortunate, I also had an application that went in Sept 3 and came out Nov 3rd.

Hmmm then they should stop saying “will be processed within 15working days” until they get things under control.

Hello house ,
Did my biometric 2nd of November I just got my refusal mail today (priority).
However i am perplexed by the reason for my refusal. Firstly, i stated that I am self employed, attached all the necessary documents to prove this (Business reg certificate, Tax clearance, corporate account statement,etc).
I also stated that my personal account was used for business before I created my corporate/business account, so all huge deposit were strictly for business (I attached so many invoices and receipts) .
I also stated that I intend to spend N1,150,000 on my trip.
It is just as if the ECO didn’t go through my application at all (saying I declared N1,150,000 as extra income) , and also complained about my credits when I already clarified that with proofs (receipt and invoices).
The last part that threw me off was where the ECO highlighted a deposit of N1,100,000 on the 28th of October which I already stated as my monthly salary and came directly from my corporate account, yet the ECO wrote “the source of fund is unknown”.

I’m very confused at this point cos the mail says I don’t have a right of appeal. Please advise on next step to take.

I feel you bro, I guess the volume of application they receive this year is too much that the ECO don’t have enough time to go through your application abi the ECO get eyes problem?. This is really unfair.

Best thing you can do is to re-apply immediately and explain in details, point out ECO’s misinterpretation in your cover letter and I bet your visa will be issued, this has happened to few people back and it worked, it’s like UK need another visa fee and priority money from you

Na wa o! I'm on my 6th week. It's just a mess honestly.

I think they concentrate mostly on the students and those that paid for priority. From what I have come to understand if you like call or send them paid mail a million times, they will only process your application when they are ready to. Just like someone said here before. And it takes up-to 8 weeks now. But the most important thing is the visa should be approved. You can’t waste peoples time, withhold their passport and at the end story.

Please when booking appointment online for a family of 3 visit. Will only my appointment cover for the 3 of us or I will have to book separate appointment for each applicant? Because the submission time may not be the same.

Hello house, please I urgently need your help.

I needed to pay for the £220 Priority service so I reached out to a friend who knows someone in the UK that helped me made the payment and I transferred the money to his Naira account here. But the issue is when I went for biometric on (23rd September) I asked the lady doing the biometric if my application is priority or standard because I was skeptical about it and she showed me on the screen that the £220 payment is showing pending.

But when I tracked my application the next day is already at the 3rd stage “Application Received by DMC” does that means it is priority or is there another way for me to confirm it is priority service because tomorrow will make it 2 weeks I did biometric.
