As the saying goes if life throws lemon at you make lemonades, if life also throw Agbalumo at you make "Agbalooms" (made that up myself tho). So when I dropped my last single a lot of people loved it and they made alot of nice comments but then few "Bigheads" made some comments here that got my attention. They all talked about how I only know how to sing about "bum bum" and girls alone. But it's obvious they didn't listen to my track because it had nothing to do with ass.

There is something I want to tell you about music business. It can be compared to relationship where we have "Nice guys" and "Bad boys". Nice guys are like musicians that have meaningful lyrics and sane song, and just like the society loves nice guys and ladies always talk good about them but at the end of the day they don't see the honey pot, so also the musicians with the nice lyrics too no go just blow with all the compliments, so also is it with musicians that sing about bum bum and et Al everybody comes out to castigate them and just like the bad boys get the Honeypot, the musicians with meaningless lyrics seems to blow.


Knowing this fact I decided to sing about this hypocrisy in a very catchy way. All the beautiful and unique lyrics I needed were flowing to me freely. I remember entering the studio most of the big boys and big girls there no give me face. As I grabbed the mic and started voice everyone just left what they were doing, the one wey even bust my brain was the babe that ran down stairs to see who was singing and she started blushing.


I have finished recording but the good thing is the studio is next door so I can keep going to go and perfect the song. I don't know when the mixing and mastering of the song will be done because I didn't have money to pay the engineer yet but very soon Sha man must hustle for the money. I don't know if I should share this painful experience I had with a producer. I stumbled on a guy I once worked with some years back and I paid him for studio session, unknown to me that he wasn't into music production again, he only wanted to scam me, that was how I got scammed.

Sometimes am ashamed of telling people how much have invested in my music but such is life we all have at one point or another invested much in something. It's all about fulfilment we get from chasing ones dream.

So it happened that our borehole got damaged and I don't understand if it was the food I ate the night before or it's my village people that finally got my new address, I just started having running stomach, on a day that their is no water, that's how I kept using the toilet without flushing and I covered it and locked the door.

Then my phone started ringing, it was Anita I met her immediately I moved into the estate, I didn't bother shooting my shot because she was way out of my league and her boyfriend dey drive Benz. That's how she was crying that she needs someone to talk to that her boyfriend just broke her heart.

As majority of you are aware that I just moved into a new environment. I recently got a very big surprise, I just discovered that one of the big producers in the country is my next door neighbor. I can't mention his name due to privacy. I booked a session with him already (just recording that's all I can afford) and I will be working with him soon.

Now the issue is alot of blist artiste are always in his apartment and hanging around these people can be a major boost for my career but then one can't just come from nowhere and be hanging around these big boys and celebrities. To make matter worse am not good at socializing.

I use to think all I have to do is to work hard and people will start looking for me but I just realize that one really needs people to pull him up, one can't do it alone.

Some women believe that when you finally get a man to be interested in you, spoiling him and overlooking his every fault would get you into a white gown faster than an okada chased by LASTMA! Some men don’t mind a woman who houses them, clothes them, feeds them, gives ‘em pocket money, never gets upset with them even when they misbehave and cleans up after them with little or no contribution from them… Living the dream

The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) has vowed to disrupt domestic and international flights at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja from Monday if the Federal Government fails to reach an agreement with the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic Staff (ASUP).

The angry students, who barricaded the entrance of the Federal Ministry of Education, carrying placards with various inscriptions demands for immediate reopening of Polytechnics,and also urged the Federal Government for immediate negotiation to end the lingering strike by ASUP.

President of NAPS, Mr Sunday Asuku, called on both parties to reach a compromise or risk nationwide protest by the students as he said:

“We want the government to call ASUP back to a round table and give them what belongs to them, else by Monday, we will grind the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.”

The protesting students were received by officials of the ministry led by the Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba.

Responding, Nwajiuba said everything that had to do with ASUP had been settled by the government.

The Minister said the onus lied with the union to be fair on the students by calling off the strike.

“When ASUP wanted to start this strike, we wrote them and said everything that ASUP requested for has been agreed upon, we do not have one area of disagreement.

“On May 23, we communicated to ASUP and we have given them a catalog of everything that they said we should do that we have complied with.”

I believe ASUP will respond to the Minister's speech soon, Let's wait as we pray for positive results.
