One of the best, if not the best president (to avoid the hypocritical naysayers) we ever had. But to me, he is the best president ever, follow by Goodluck Jonathan. |
Chelsea are set to receive an unexpected transfer bonus from Eden Hazard’s 2019 move to Real Madrid… even though the Belgium international has been retired for the best part of a year. The Blues are set to receive €5.8 million (£5m) from the transfer as part of the agreement with Los Blancos, with the initial terms of the deal still valid even though Hazard departed the Bernabeu side last summer by mutual agreement, The Telegraph reports. The Belgium international left Chelsea one year from the end of his deal at Stamford Bridge in a transfer deal that was worth a total of €150m, with the majority of that tied up in an initial payment. Real Madrid paid an estimated €100m (£89m) upfront for the winger with the remainder made of bonuses. The fee has since grown to a record total of €115m, surpassing the price Los Blancos paid for Gareth Bale, but has now jumped another €5m. With the Spanish side reaching the final of the Champions League, one of these payments has been triggered. Real Madrid's worst transfer ever? The deal has proven to be one of the worst pieces of business in the history of the Spanish club but equally a transfer masterstroke by Chelsea, who sold the attacker when he was still considered a serious contender to win a Ballon d’Or. Hazard struggled with injury problems throughout his time with the Bernabeu side, mustering only 76 appearances across all competitions for Los Blancos, during which he scored seven times and created another 12. In his final campaign, the 2022/23 season, he featured only 10 times and played for only 392 minutes, regularly finding himself as an unused substitute for Carlo Ancelotti’s side even when he was not battling physical problems. Hazard had been expected to play out his contract until the end of June 2024, at which point he would have departed as a free agent, yet Real Madrid negotiated the release of the former Belgium international last October. https://www.footballtransfers.com/en/transfer-news/uk-premier-league/2024/05/chelsea-transfer-news-eden-hazard-bonus-real-madrid-record-transfer-fee |
........Cat and Rat (metaphorically, analogically and allegorically) All these are just TEMPORARY measures that won't give us a lasting positive effect, and this is evident in Naira dollar (pogo) dance that Nigerians have been attentively watching. Government should try examine the BIGGER pictures of eg importation and exportation..... |
Funny!. |
It's even more baffling that its took masses this long for them to take this deserved action. |
There is a political agenda behind that IMF. It beginning to feel like someone in IMF are working for Tinubu's administration. |
Putindbutt:Of all the points dissected in the write-up, this is what you could deduce. Does that means all the points raised are invalid? |
........What a elucidatory write-up! An excellent depictions of a well-grounded dictions through out, which evidently brings out the mood of the writer by extension the targeted readers which happens to be mostly Nigerians. "with cap in hand, knees on the ground, and eyes with tears"— to reverse these killing policies. Please! Even reading only the above extract which creates a kind of sad imagery can actually turn a stonyhearted. So melancholic!. |
This is definitely a comic play. Even the image used at the end of the article looks unreal. |
........A man whose doings is allegorically an ANTI-christ and he himself metaphorically a Devil. Tinubu is only here to steal, to destroy and to kill. |
Murphyericho:Okay.. |
That reminds me one of my classmates, during senior secondary school days, a brilliant and intelligent fella. Problem started when he entered university, there wasn't semester, he didn't have issue of missing scripts, and unwarranted low score evaluation, even when he laid complaints, the lecturers involved would still managed to brushed it off and that continued till he graduated. It was even through divine intervention that he eventually graduated and went for service. Graduated with poor result, which is below his intellectual capability. The guy immediately went into depression after, which leads to suicidal thoughts and even dyslexia. To keep the story short, the guy is now shadow of his former self. To even think the guy is the firstborn of two to a single parent make me more sad. Life is damn crazy, not a respecter of anybody. Irrespectives of who you are, it definitely will f**k u up. |
Funny comments but proudly a feminist. Although not a subscriber of this new wave of feminism. |
The way some of you process stuff in your brain is always appalling. Even if you bear hate towards someone, should that block your normal sense of reasoning. Now let me ask this first; How many days have the man in question used in Office that you want him to arrest everyone.... Won't he starts from somewhere... At least if you want blame someone of not arresting some people that you feel he should arrest, give him some sestet or octave of months (even though they are inconsequential), then we can now have a discourse on it. Besides, most Nigerians I know are elated with the news of his arrest and most were even anticipating that. With the level of calamities he caused Nigerians especially during "No cash", his arrest wasn't a surprise or an unwelcome one. |

......But the issue shouldn't be something we will be tussling with. I don't think anyone should even be against the idea since it is meant to protect the indigenes except someone with an ulterior motive. |
The man, Tinubu is living Atiku's long time dream. |
What an interesting write-up. The points raised are valid... It always amaze me how we Africans could totally sideline our own, indigenous religion for a religion that is not ours nor did it originates with our culture. Most Africans have even put traditional religion as Dark, figuratively a symbolism of bad and evil ( But what do you expect, when that is what western religion, which has flood our mind wants us to believe) The western religions with other indigenous religions has been stereotypically made to be believed, literally as a contract and figuratively as an oxymoron or a paradox. The climax has now worsen to the extent most Nigerians, by extension Africans have no iota of ideas of any progenitor of their tribes by extension their culture and religion. |

Your "Boyfriend" get problem. Problem what?!, I mean problems. You mean he is carrying all his fantasies on you like a sex slave or a road-side chick (so much for a wife-to-be). After watching every act in porn, he now uses you as a practical rat to dissect. And you said he loves you. Okay continue (in madame Patience voice). "the past I have talked to him about how I didn't enjoy some of these things and how we should do it sparingly or not at all. He sounded like he understood, but after a few weeks he seemed bored and uninterested in normal sex, and begged me to go back to the rough stuff because that's the only thing he likes" You better tell your "Boyfriend" to seek for help before he starts bringing home a dog to (...) you, telling you it arouses him or smash your head on the wall while in the act. |
In Yoruba language, this is what they called "Olè gbe Olè gba". Semantically, in English translation " what a thief took or carried, it is another thief that will still take it". |

For some nonentity thinking this fuel scarcity or subsidy removal only affects those that owns a car, motorcycle, generator e.t c, it is a privilege telling you that you are the biggest fool I have seen in the last decade. Except you are not human, or you are not staying or doing anything in Nigeria, that's the only way it won't affect you. But as long you buy stuffs in the market or do any exchange of money for goods or services anywhere around you in Nigeria, it will definitely affects you. |
benjaminlawson:So much for a person that think uprightly, one could attest to that from your gullible and unintelligent response. SMH. |
We are highly welcome to a new dispensation. May this dispensation favours me, my family and Nigeria as a whole. Asé. |
Na so. Numbers 14:28: Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you. |
If it's not him then who else?!...... No f**king body. The one and only Haaland. |
