Bleep it! Nigeria universities age crab. Can you imagine me finishing secondary school at the age of 16 in 2010 and wrote JAMB that age. I passed my JAMB and wrote POST UTME in UNIBEN and DELSU in 2010. The post UTME was the one that failed me. Can you imagine at 20 am not still in school. My mates who are in school in UNIBEN, UNILAG, UNIPORT right aren't brilliant than me. The thing is that Nigeria destroys the brain and determination of the brilliant ones. Most people in school right now don't really merit it. Most are by connections

T.B Joshua some few minutes ago prayed for the ASUU strike. He said it's God's will to end the ASUU strike. He prayed for goverment to divert money from other sectors to education. He prayed for the strike to be called of this week. What's you thought? @Nairalanders

THE striking Academic Staff Union of Universities has expressed hope that their meeting with President Goodluck Jonathan tomorrow will bring mutually acceptable solution to the four months old strike which has paralysed the nation’s university education.According to the union, they expect the meeting to be a dialogue that will lead to a mutually acceptable fair and far reaching solution within the context of the implementation of the 2009 agreement, the 2012 MOU and the recommendations of the Needs Assessment Report.The union warned that any proposal by the Government would be based on a clear acceptance of a framework for the implementation of the 2009 agreement, saying that any imposition will not present a solution to the current crisis.
ASUU in a statement by Dr. Uzochukwu Onyebinama, Chairperson ASUU, Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike,Abia state, urged the President “to be guided by the principle of honouring agreements in the interest of justice and industrial harmony in the country”.
“As the National leadership of our union, the Academic Staff Union of Universities meet with his Excellency, President Goodluck Jonathan, tomorrow 4th November 2013 [tomorrow], we hope that the meeting will be a dialogue that will lead to a mutually acceptable fair and far reaching solution within the context of the implementation of the 2009 agreement, the 2012 MOU and the recommendations of the Needs Assessment Report.
“Any proposal by government should be based on a clear acceptance of a framework for the implementation of the 2009 agreement. Any imposition will not present a solution to the current crisis.

I've been using etisalat network since it reached Delta State. It's my best network in Nigeria. When it comes to services, I gonna choose etisalat anyday and anytime. I won't practice it because I believe it might bring big trouble in the long term. It's not possible to love all women equally. There must certainly be favourite among them. And to the op, you said you support polygamous marriage but you can't be in a polygamous marriage. You see it as a good and peaceful marriage system which can accomodate the large numbers of girls who are yearning to get married but you simply can't do it. Why not be an example of what you support? Or do you have two natures?

This is what I'll call leadership by example. Been at the helm of power, some governors won't allow such to happen to their property. Dickson is a good governor unlike my governor Uduaghan here in Delta state who hasn't done anything tangible for almost eight years now.

Nnekacherry: When you get to the university or if you are there already, concentrate on your books.. Never look at the unserious guys and the people whiling away their time..
Because some of them are not students, some only came to enjoy campus life, while some are already rusticated fron the school but refused to go home..
Please dont join any cult, they will only succeed in destroying your life and turning you into what you dont want to be..
Aim for 1st class, so that even if you dont get there you will land at 2.1.
That's my litle advice..

Select your friends well because most times they determine where you end up.

Select friends that have passion doing the right thing at the right time.
Avoid friends encouraging you on making money real fast, those that loves anything under skirt or trouser etc.
You know them.

Anyone that don't add value to your life, detach and watch them from a distance.
