Andre Uweh: How on earth can a language spoken by over 40 million people world wide go into extinction?. You guys are joking. Even those Igbo who speak Hausa in the north or Yoruba in the west still speak Igbo language. One thing with Igbo people is that they are quick learners and quick learners learn languages so easily. Can your generation prevent the Ibo language from going extinct. The true answer is NO. The Ibo language would go into extinction. It would only take time. |
macof: Yoruba can never be extinct, it can only evolveAll languages in Nigeria would go extinct. It's just that some would take more time to go extinct e.g Ibo, Yoruba and Hausa. My language Urhobo is already going on extinction. Most of my fellow youths who are Urhobo don't know how to speak Urhobo and they hate to here someone speaking it and also laugh at the person most times saying the person is a ''village master''. Most of our parents don't teach their children the local dialect by speaking it at home. They either speak English or Pidgin to their wards. Inter ethnic marriages ain't also helping matters. Couples from two different ethnic groups with different languages must communicate in a language both understand and that they'll also teach their wards. Languages going into extinction in Nigeria is inevitable. But would this bound Nigeria the more? I think so. Do you think so? |
Nice pics. I never enter plane once sha! |
awww. makes me wanna cry
*Brings a big basin* Oya start to cry! |
Good one. I got to drop this too. Every man for himself. God for us all. |
Good one for our dear Nairaland but it ain't a good one for me as a person using the etisalat network. Etisalat always finds means to deduct money from customers accounts uncontrollably in the name of subscription. I won't subscribe to it. I rather use load that money for MB to browse on Nairaland and other sites. |
DSTV is exploiting Nigerians and they don't seem to be bothered about it. The average man can't afford the lowest bouquet because it's too expensive. Sometimes I wonder if true enjoyment and merriment of TV is only met for the rich and wealthy in Nigeria. I don't have a DSTV at home because my family can't afford it. May God help us! |
Nigerian has fallen. Corruption has so much cripplefu this sector that they do the opposite of their functions. They're been used by politicians as thugs and even as criminals to intimidate, inflict pain, kill... the populace. This got to change. See the way the policeman stand! Na wah! |
Nobleacct: Some people like myself are just reading this for the first time, and WE LOVE IT.Me too |
So inspiring! God help me! I need your grace |
I see a do me and do you back something here. This is a deliberate retaliation. I know he would definitely use this for his election campaign. All these are political strategies. |
I like them except the last one. It's been long we've been using that same design of jersey which isn't that beautiful. I think we should change it for the world cup because we'll definitely qualify. I would recommend it in my site. |
The most horror movie I've watched is Hellraiser. This movie is about a demonic box which was has been kept for ages since the Old France Empire. When this box is been pressed, it starts operating like a machine and sends out demons which would destroy anything they see in their way. I couldn't watch this film twice because it's too bloody. What's the most horror movie you've watched? @Nairalanders |
@op Was there any grieviance between both of you before because I believe there is which has warrantened this slap. I will advice you to go and settle with your wife. Nairalanders can't run your family for you. You and your wife should. |
I hope this isn't another wack song because his songs, I mean non has been standing the test of time. Waiting for my friend to download it so that I can send it through bluetooth. I value my MB well well! |
Psychedelia: I've also got to add...Dr Sid or whatever he calls himself might faint if he reads this o! The guy just dey struggle for music without any better success. Music isn't suppose to be his thing. |

I really do respect Fashola. He's a governor that has a vision which he's working out. It's a well deserved visit which must certainly yield positive results. |
It's still the same situation. It aren't gotten better. I believe improvement of power after the privatization would take a slow gradual process. You all know how Nigerian processes are like |
It's not only in the aviation sector. But almost all other sectors in the country all do have half wrecked structures. We need a drastic change in this country or things might go for the worse. |
Alexcollins: THE CASUALTIES OF ASUU STRIKE!!!Well said. May his soul rest in peace! |

zoedicus: uhm, what people don't understand is that all these things have DEEP spiritual undertones. You're right. People don't know that these things have deep spiritual understones. Many ignorantly play along without knowing the spiritual inclination they're putting themselves into. Only God would help this our young generation. The devil is using numerous means to possess our youths |
Michky: All those shouting OVER-AGED should shut up! Age is not the only determinant for winning such competition. Isnt it clear logic that: asuming we indeed use old boys at this just concluded tournament, then we must have been doing so @ all the previous 13 U17 editions. Automatically, Nigeria should have there4 won the U17 competition 13times already, thats if age is the only determinant factor for lifting the cup. In other vocabs, even with overaged players in the past, we couldnt win all the past worldcups. Now tell me; Why are some people shouting like december chickens nah? INFACT LETS CALL A SPADE A SPADE: THOSE BOYS ARE TRUELY GOOD. Take it or leave it. GBAM!!Full Stop! |
