Celebrities › Re: Nigeria’s 5 Most Humble Celebrities by iamdsam: 4:58pm On Oct 15, 2013
@op What's the bane of their humility? How did you come up with this list? Have you ever lived or spent a little time with any of them? Why do you think other celebrities aren't that humble like them? Everybody got his own life. A human can't have all the positive qualities on earth. I believe non of them deserves to be on that list. Giving out freebies around doesn't make you a humble person. You haven't spent time with any of them. My conclusion: Don't Judge a Book by it's damn Cover

Music/Radio › Re: Nigerian Artistes Don't Know The Meaning Of Live Performance. by iamdsam: 10:51am On Oct 15, 2013
Nomski0: So true. Nigerian music industry needs songwriters. They dont have to know how to sing, they should just know how to write really inspirational and sensible lyrics.undecidedundecided
This aren't only a case in Nigeria. It's a global trend. Even artists from the United States which most of our Nigerian artists crave to feature don't also have sensible lyrics anymore.
Music/Radio › Re: Nigerian Artistes Don't Know The Meaning Of Live Performance. by iamdsam: 10:43am On Oct 15, 2013
I would say music generally has changed globally. There are genres of musics that can be live performed like the RnB. Most artists now use auto tunes for their songs which makes it hard for them to have true live performances because they aren't going to use auto tune in live performances but their real voice. I would still say that am proud of the Nigerian music industry. We are breaking boundaries. Gone are the days when we patronized South African, Ghana, Congolese... music.

Sports › Osaze or Moses? Who's a Better Winger/Attacker? by iamdsam(op): 10:23am On Oct 14, 2013
A lil argument just ensued betweed me and my guy at work early this morning when we were discussing about Nigeria's match which was played yesterday. The argument was about Moses and Ozaze. He said Ozaze was a better attacker/winger per say. I couldn't agree with him totally after watching Moses in the AFCON and how he played very well. His performance was the bane of Nigeria qualifying from the group stage and advancing in the competition. I believe Moses is a better winger/attacker but when I reminisce about Ozaze's performance for the Super Eagles in the past, I got a different thinking. I want you people to err your opinions. Who do you think is a better winger/attacker? Ozaze or Moses?
Christianity Etc › Re: Is TB Joshua's Argentina Prophecy Coming To Pass? by iamdsam: 8:33pm On Oct 13, 2013
A prophet shall only prophecy what God put in his mouth and shall surely come to pass. So many so called christians today aren't use to prophets but pastors that only preach prosperity even when there's danger coming. He T.B Joshua prophecies about bad things that are about to happen most times to prevent or guide people against them. He doesn't frequently prophecy about good things to come because that's what every reasonable human beings pray for but the bad things to come to guide us through. When God's prophet speak, the wise listen. God bless. Let Love Lead!
Christianity Etc › Re: Is TB Joshua's Argentina Prophecy Coming To Pass? by iamdsam: 8:27pm On Oct 13, 2013
salt 1: I don't believe in TBJoshua. Period.
I believe in the Bible. I believe in Jesus, the Author and Finisher of my faith.

I am not saying that he isn't of God. Only God knows the source of his inspiration. That he prophesied some things and they happened doesn't even make me believe him. I have dreamt of many things and they happened verbatim, but that doesn't make me lean on my dreams. I depend on God's word, not dreams or anybody's prophecy.

I understand prophecy differently which is where I have issues with TBJ. All the prophets of the Bible condemned SIN and called for national repentance. The evils that they said would happen wasn't chance occurrences but consequences of neglecting the call for repentance. Maybe I don't listen to TBJ but I haven't heard his denunciation of sin in his football prophecies.

Secondly, all the prophets direct people to GOD and not to themselves. Here he is asking Argentines to come to HIM(TBJ) to seek for prayers.
Any minister who encourages people to depend on his own prayers or guidance is suspect, as far as I am concerned. I don't even go near such because they enslave people spiritually. A minister's duty is to lead people to God, not himself
Na waiten be your stresshuh

stanley10122: @op,seems y'all are actually praying and hoping it'll come to pass jst so that u'll find more reason to worship TBJ..incase u don't know, we're talking abt a person's life here..i hope God proves him wrong angry
Is T.B Joshua the one causing it? He only prophesied what was revealed to him by God. If you don't know what to comment, you better just read through and get out

Celebrities › Peter Okoye, Lola Omotayo Pick Wedding Date by iamdsam(op): 4:06pm On Oct 12, 2013
Barely few months after he proposed to his baby mama,Lola Omotayo, Peter Okoye, one of the singing sensational duo, Psquare has taken a step further by picking a date for their traditional marriage.
A source close to the couple disclosed that their traditional marriage is billed to hold on Sunday, November 17, at Arc Events Center on the Lagos island. The date for the white wedding is yet to be fixed. Confirming the development, Psquare publicist, Bayo Adetu said, “It’s true, Peter Okoye and Lola Omotayo will be having their traditional marriage ceremony on the 17th of November, 2013.”
However, with this development, Peter has joined the long list of celebrities who wedded this year. Meanwhile, arrangements are on top gear as Peter is leaving no stone unturned to make the day a memorable one.
It would be recalled that Peter Okye proposed to his girlfriend, Lola in a grand style, presenting her with a brand new Range Rover Evoque, bouquet of flowers, a hand written sign and a stunning diamond ring. He later got a deserving ‘Yes’ from Lola who already had two children for him, Cameron and Aliona. Via: Vanguard

TV/Movies › Your Favourite News Channel In Nigeria & Worldwide by iamdsam(op): 3:50pm On Oct 12, 2013
My favourite news station in Nigeria is Channels TV. It's used to be AIT then but now it seems AIT is somehow becoming kinda station that isn't reliable. As for my favourite world news station, it's Ajazeera. It used to be CNN but it seems they kinda hide some news concerning the United States. What's your favourite news channel in Nigeria and worldwide?
