In my travels, the two people I have seen show respect for age and parents are the Yoruba and the Japanese. Most foreigners are shocked when they visit Japan. The Japanese bow to their parents till today, just like the Yoruba dobale. And look at the results. Both are very progressive people.

Nothing is as honourable as respecting the people who brought you into this world. And it is impossible to revere God if you do not first respect your parents.

The people who say the Yoruba custom of prostrating flat for your parents is barbaric are the same people who say kneeling to propose to a girl is romantic. Look at that. You kneel for a girl you are older than because you want to be married to her. And you cannot prostrate for your parents who carried you in their womb, prayers, and home?

These cardinal values form the core of the Omoluabi (Omo-ti-Olu-Iwa-bi) culture of the Yorubas. And that is why they are good hosts and good settlers. I am almost fifty years of age, and I have never heard of xenophobia against the Yorubas by their host community, either within Nigeria or abroad. Indeed, many foreigners like Nigeria because of the Yorubas. Their diplomacy is their selling point, and it starts from home.

A Yoruba man will not sit down to talk to his father. And in an office environment, the boss will naturally want to promote them because of their natural respect for authority, which the uninitiated call sycophancy.

That respect for elders and parents is why the physical, spiritual, emotional and commercial forces are aligned in harmony in Nigeria's Southwest. This is why Aliko Dangote left Kano to thrive in Lagos, and also why the top 10 home-based Nigerians all live in Lagos, even though only five of them are from the Southwest, and why the 'highest scoring JAMB candidate' Mmesoma Ejikeme's first, second, and third choice of institutions are in the Southwest.

The benefit is about crippling your nigeria's economy. if it's not working, why are all the governors and politicians both in Biafraland and in your nigeria against it? For these past three days of the successful sit at home, several trailers of tomatoes, onions and other perishable goods from the north encroute to South East are all ducked at the road sides in cities near Biafra and are slowly perishing. We are talking of million if not billions of naira worth of trailer loads of perishable goods.

Those in transportation business both in nigeria and in Biafraland are on hold and waiting and losing money until after our sit at home. Do you know how much a transport company like Ekene dili Chukwu makes in a day? This company rakes in millions of naira everyday. Do you know how much money the state where they operate make from them in a day as taxes? Same with hundreds and thousands of transporters that ply between nigeria and Biafraland everyday.

All of them are on hold as they can't go in or come out during our sit at home. Lost revenue from this business runs into millions of naira each day of business. Your state governments that collect taxes from the above mentioned businesses and others are losing money from taxes. That is called economical strangulation against nigeria. You can cry and blab all you want, until your government obey court order and release MNK, the sit at home will get tougher with 2 weeks sit at home loading.

We don't need your useless online nonsense, go and conduct it your country where electoral fraud is accepted as normal. Soon, we shall conduct our Biafra referendum without your nigeria's consent because our freedom lies in our hands and not in the hands of any idiot and the result will be astonishingly 99% YES for Biafra.
