Lagos state that was created during military era

Lagos state is made of

Lagos island division, Ikeja division, Ibeju Epe division, Ikorodu division and Badagry division.

Only Lagos island was not part of Western Nigeria.

Lagos island was the federal capital territory.

Before the joining of Lagos colony to southern protectorate, majority of yoruba land was administrated as Lagos protectorate.



The man child called Adele who feels Lagos island alone should control the fortunes of lagos state should go and rest.

First of all, the south west has Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ondo and Ekiti state.

Second of all, Ogun Cannot detach itself from lagos because the Yoruba clans of Ogun state are the same in Lagos.

Awori, ijebu/remo and ogu(not yorubas)

No one can reach lagos state without passing through ogun state from within Nigeria.

They are the same people.


Furthermore, the western industrial block passes through Ota, Ibadan sagamu and ikeja.

Only one is located in lagos.

Adele is bitter prince of Late Oba of lagos and he has no right to speak for the entire lagos.

He has no right to speak for people of the other four divisions that makes up lagos state.

Majority of this so called "Lagos indigenous person group" are bittered people from lagos island.

They believe lagos state should be their personal property and are saddened by the fact that people from other division are ruling lagos state.

The reality is that people from other divisions out number people from lagos island by 10 to 1 and will always control lagos state politically.

There are five divisions in modern Lagos state.

The dude can only speak for Lagos island division which is highly questionable.


We have Ikeja, Epe, Ikorodu and Badagry divisions.

The four divisions were all part of the Western region of Nigeria.

Badagry, Epe, Ikeja, ibeju/Lekki and Ikorodu.

Were all part of Western Nigeria.

Infact, Awolowo developed the Ikeja industrial park as premier of Western region


Majority of Southwest were part of Lagos protectorate

It is sad when one don't know their own history.



The Metropolitan areas [Colony Province] of Ikeja, Agege, Mushin, Ojo, Ikorodu, Epe, and Badagry were then administered by the Western Region government.

This story seems incomplete.

I work with Oyo state government in some capacity, I know what I am talking about regarding the neglect of education.

Especially secondary and primary school.

Bola ige was the best.

He completed 67km from Iseyin to ibadan in his first term in office


He has completed 76km from Iseyin to Ogbomoso to Oyo in his second term in office

He is doing the ibadan circular road project

He is doing well in intercity roads within Oyo state

More work is needed.

Oyo state government built three bus terminals in his first term

Built A lot of roads but we are not comparing him to a governor who completed two light rail projects.

Completed multiple roads and fly overs amongst numerous projects in his first term.


So please don't compare your state to Lagos.

Biodun Otunola did an excellent job at Oshodi. You cannot see that world-class bus terminal and not love it. That's why Abia and Enugu governors have contracted his firm to replicate the same project in their states.

You can never see Hope Uzodinma when men are discussing development; he's only interested in politics and setting the military after his own people.

I believe he also built three bus terminal in ibadan.

Two completed since three years ago and one being completed this year.
