The melting point of gold is about 1050°c give or take a few degrees...... If that little campfire they had in the tent was hot enough to melt gold...... Then it stands to reason that the fire at the dosh khaleen temple and Khal Drogo's funeral pyre would be be at least 10-50 times hotter. Both of which she walked away from unscathed.

Sure, she might die...... From the gold solidifying & spreventing adequate circulation in and around her head...... But definitely not from the heat.

The mountain will crush Arya...... No doubt 'bout that.
Brienne and the hound stand a chance but the mountain trumps both in sheer strength so there is a chance that might turn to a severe beat down.

Jon and Jorah i believe stand the best chance of taking him down, they have just the right combination of strength, speed and agility needed to cut him down.

There's no gene for immunity from fire, only a tolerance. Example - people in Dorne can stand more heat than the rest of Westeros, because Dorne is a desert, and they're used to it. The Targaryens came from a volcanic region, and they're used to it.

G.R.R.M has stated categorically that Targaryens are not immune to fire in the books, they are just highly tolerant to it. That much i get. But i don't think this is the first thing that was Changed for the show by the writers.
And yeah, Rhaegar was regularly referred to as the 'last dragon' in the first season. Until Danaerys proved herself to be just as deserving of the 'dragon' title. I remember Viserys and doreah in that bathtub when she poured candle wax on him..... You could see he clearly feels the pain..... So like I said.... Some show the gene, some don't.
Saying Targaryens are just tolerant because their ancestors came from a volcanic region is the same as saying Northerners won't die from hypothermia when exposed to the cold without their garbs. Dany has full-on walked away from a funeral pyre and the burning temple of the dosh khaleen without a scratch.

That is not tolerance,bro...... That is straight up absolute resistance.

I think it's one of two reasons.....

- immunity from fire is like a recessive gene in the Targaryen bloodline and Danaerys and Rhaegar were the two who exhibited the trait and viserys didn't. Hence why Dany said he was no dragon. OR

- Targaryens who are able to bond with dragons develop a magical connection to said dragons which renders them impervious to fire.

Dany and Jon smashing is pretty much locked in at this point. Considering how short this season is,They won't spend all that time having the two of them giving each other 'fuck_me' eyes for nothing. This is not the time for plot lines that won't lead anywhere.

A dragon needs to die but not Drogon! Viserion would be my pick...... I hated the person he was named after.

Maybe at the beginning of the episode, Highgarden was still in sight when Bronn was talking about his reward but by the time of the battle...... Highgarden is way..... WAY out of sight.

Or maybe you meant Cersei attacked Highgarden, not dany?

well it was war and people tend to do stupid things in the heat of the moment. also if the dragon already saw Jamie before dany, then he should have reacted earlier. I still think there's a psychic connection.

Drogon literally just torched the whole place.......I think the smoke should obscure anyone who is a few hundred feet away like Jamie was when he started his charge. Smoke goes up and so drogon wouldn't have a view as clear as Jamie's who is tiny and under the smoke.
+ drogon was a little distracted getting a big ass arrow pulled from his shoulder.

I think it was a Kamikaze thing...... Take out dany and get fried in the process but I don't think for a second that he was going for drogon.

& I think it has more to do with the placement of drogon's eyes.
Animals with eyes on the side of their heads have the widest possible field of vision and so drogon could've easily seen Jamie charging towards his mother.
