Minjim:well I agree to some extent, but the bin laden case is strictly national security, and it is on foreign soil which means US rule of law was technically not violated, Pakistan where bin laden was killed never filled a violation to any international court for its illegal invassion, Pakistan and US has a treaty on secuirity |
National interest and national security are two different things. while a nation can suspend human right and the rule of law for national security especially invasion from external forces, international rule of engagement must be followed to avoid sanctions. However National Interest doesn't give right to violate human right and rule of law For people continuously singing Bin Laden case. that is strictly national Security and a US court had declared him wanted for terrorism, However killing him was done on foreign soil outside US rule of law or jurisdiction, in case any rule was broken its for Pakistan Government to approach United Nation if it feels US violated any security treaty or bilateral agreement between them Again Guantanamo bay is not under US Law or Jurisdiction as it is Under Cuban sovereignty so no US law was violated. the problem with allowing Buhari violate our laws is that it would set a bad precedence which other Government would follow after his tenure 2019 or 2023. after his military rule started with the idea of illegal detention in the 80s other regime followed suite and he was also illegally detained for three years, and MKO lost his life to such reckless disregard to laws of the land |
ambode has nothing to fear. his performance has been above average, and there was no parallel Congress in Lagos. I doubt one statue building Governor and his demolition specialist counterpart would ever support such |
pilgrimage is a big money spinner, a single entry hajj visa cost $533, $533 * 2.3m people = $1.3billion , if only osun Government can package osun oshogbo festival and stop demonizing our own |
I wish Nigeria could exploit this bilateral agreements a step further. Presidency should start going to this kind of meetings with our medium scale entrepreneurs (as opposed to the dangotes, and otedolas), Academic professors, realtime farmers and raw material producers, top artist naija music and Nollywood, IT experts. The President is going to china again, instead of taking along a delegate of the real players in Nigerian economy, he is going along with politicians and governors like yahaya bello while China delegates would be constituted to contain their best brains in public and private sectors |
tinubu's cousin already got the seat. I wonder how the people of Osun would say No to N5k $13, when 87% of Nigerian live on less than $2 a day and a party wants to offer $13 dollars |
for once I agree with BMC people. Thousands of people in Benue, Jos, zamfara, Bornu and Adamawa, are no more poor they are simply dead. as a result of governments Inaction towards herdsmen/bokoharam violence, many poor people are simply in IDPs in Cameroon, Chad and Niger. I guess that is the reduction they are talking about |
ladoja and been self centered. he had accord party member literarily worshiping him, he dumped them because he felt he was the right guy for PDP national chairman. A High chief and a former senator/Governor should by now start playing politics like an elder stateman |
sweetilicious:goto any party Secretariat in your locality and relate with them, there is always a guy in charge of mobilisation, or you can speak to any public university SUG member. am sure if you need more than 500 they are very available |
Wiseandtrue:elrufai controls the state structure of APC Kaduna, since there is no automatic ticket or direct primaries, elrufai would influence the APC primaries delegate list, and just like that Shehu sani is in hot soup |

that aso rock blocks them from reality security>> from unrest in few local government in northeast(2014), more towns across north central and north west are now battling with crisis , SARS are now part of insecurities down south(I guess that's a dividend) Economy>> Nigerian economy slipped into a recession, after just getting out of it early this year, NBS data shows the economy is now contracting for this very quarter. Nigeria is ranked with the highest number of poor people in the world. Power>> commendable improvement but ridiculously high tariff |

adioolayi:painfully so. the governor can easily manipulate state delegates list |
adioolayi:direct primary (all party members vote) indirect primary(only selected party delegations vote) National primary(Only presidential) State primary(all state legislator, federation legislature and governor of a state) |
every Northerner knows power must return to south as from 2023, so every Northerner wants to try his luck. from northwest to north central |
jokes on tinubu and oshiomole, thinking APC would accept direct primaries. Now its very clear they are on their own trying to bring back grassroot politicking |
sponsored protest, they even have money to print banners for them. am sure they gave them a bottle of codeine and 1k each |
Angrymode:yes the legislatures need to work on clear laws on ECA and other similar cash buffers the executive are keeping. But Jonathan could have done what fashola did when senate made a cut to second Niger bridge and Lagos Ibadan express way budget. in politics you scream until everyone who has ears know who is at fault. only omokiri tries abit after Jonathan left government |
that direct primaries would have been a great idea, all the abuja senators that forgot the way to their constituency would have kissed their seat goodbye and the governors that only favor their family and friends in appointments as opposed to qualified party members they would have been packing their loads. I guess as usual Tinubu over estimated his influenceP.S; even if people like tinubu, oshiomole, osinbanjo, fashola, ameachi, ambode and other creative people in APC try to introduce something progressive, some backward elements would never allow it to work |
these guys have a better chance come 2023. Against little campaign fund, and electoral strength, their 2019 campaigns were quite impressive and organized. they bring new flavor into politics, only that the need to heavily engage the northern youth through arewa youth forum and paying homage to their emirs and sultans, they can even buy a fake tittle like jagaban of katsina. after all when abiola started his own aspiration during shagari days he was seen as a joker, even Buhari tried his luck thrice |
Greek gift, brexit had made them remember their old Ally, now our luxury shopping and vacation are done in dubai. gone are the days when Burberry and Paul smith was like the only thing Nigerian elite favor. |
most black Americans are now using their DNA to search their ancestry. who knows the Jacksons might be from Yoruba tribe |

Greatzeus:you are very wrong on this clueless; having no knowledge, understanding, or ability (eg Buhari doesn't know about budget padding, killing in middlebelt, SARS brutality. a sick and perhaps lifeless man lacks ability) meekness; quiet, gentle, and easily imposed on; submissive (eg Jonathan, always submitting to pressure from okonjo, governors forum, Allison, dasuki, mama peace) |

the same thing zombies accused saraki of, they would conveniently ignore it when it comes to tinubu or oshiomole. Anyways the new direct primaries oshiomole is bringing on board is the new game changer |
APC lead FG, and excuses, at first they said Asia rice was cheaper than Nigerian rice because Asian government financed local rice farmers. After budgeting money and starting CBN intervention and fertilizer subsidy, they changed story again claiming the price differences was because a large cargo of plastic rice had been warehoused in Cotonou and they were flooding our Markets. the new excuse is now the rice millers |
