direct primaries; every registered party member both agbero, to professors, both young and old, votes in a primary to get the party flag bearer

indirect primaries; the state party structure, under the leadership of state chairman, and state governor. select a delegate list comprising of few members, mostly the serving and former serving appointees. to vote at primaries. the down side of this is that delegates are mostly bribed by politician to give a flag bearer

waste of time and energy. ambode got this second term guaranteed. even more guaranteed than buhari's second term
