According to that PIB, anybody cannot bring petroleum and sell. To be an importer, you must own a refinery.
You must own a refinery lisence, not necessary Refinery... BUA group and many with modular refinery lisence would also import fuel

Isn't a reasonable person supposed to have ways of ensuring the masses do not suffer too much from subsidy removal before making the pronouncement. I bet you in the next 4 months you'll not see any palliative.
Petroleum Industry Bill was signed into law in 2020..

No budget for subsidy in 2022 budget and without new house no supplementary budget

This means NNPC became private

Anybody can bring in PMS into Nigeria and sell for any amount

Anyone can build refinery

If you were Tinubu what would you do differently

Who doesn't use fuel indirectly, even if you don't have vehicle don't they suffer from increase in transport cost, increase in food cost, etc

You'll will just be behaving like we are slaves to people that are supposed to serve us.
For goodness sake we can not afford subsidy anymore..

It's not about becoming a slave

Opposition must start asking APC, Tinubu on how we would spend gains of subsidy removal

Because subsidy is gone

Emefiele would be charged to court, let him get a lawyer and prove himself

If Tinubu wanted to deal with Emefiele without prosecution or fair trail, he has loyal boys that would gladly beat sense into Emefiele for Naira confiscation

All these only exist in your head, and it's motivated by hate.

Oseakwa and Oguta ports are naturally deeper than Lagos ports and also much shorter at only 18 nautical miles to the Atlantic compared to Lagos at over 50 nautical miles.

Also, Eastern Nigeria is closer Asia than Lagos, so you can see you're just fantasizing grin grin
Are you wiser than the Generation of Igbo men since independence who couldn't get a workable feasible port but use Lagos and Calabar

If they are landlocked as you claim, why still bring piracy and maritime security? Is that extra cost of berthing less or more than the benefit to the greater majority of nigerians? You see, when we say here that persons like you are the real backbone of KANU and his IPOB, you will not see it, all you people do is keep proving KANU right every time, when you read that post you did not want to see anything good in it but you are looking for obstacles, but we are IGBOS, to the majority of us we look at the solutions and not the obstacles, because we know that impossible is nothing, who are the real haters now?
Stop getting sentimental...

Since the Days of Portuguese and the Nembe , Jaja of okpbo , trans Atlantic trade, Igbos have had men who can build ports but it is just practically impossible

What science do you want to deploy that would be cost effective like Lagos port?

Go on YouTube and search for his speeches at his birthday Colloquium since 2007

Also download his manifesto
