2019 Big Brother Naija housemates, Diane, Gedoni, Jackye, Mercy, Mike, Seyi, Venita and Frodd are all up for possible eviction after their team lost the Nomination challenge.

The nomination task began an hour after the Head of House challenge on Monday night. The task was different as housemates did not nominate each other and they all participated.

To determine who got nominated, the Housemates had to contest in a challenge where they filled a set of cups one by one to the brim.


The ‘Cruistopia team’ were defeated during the challenge.

The holder of the Veto power of the chance badge, Elozonam had to use his power to save and replace a Housemate. He saved Venita and replaced her with Frodd, putting him in the list of those up for Eviction.

Hence, the new list of housemates up for possible eviction on Sunday is now Diane, Gedoni, Jackye, Mercy, Mike, Seyi, Venita and Frodd.

The weekly nomination challenge was held today with the “Icons” winning over the “Cruistopia”.
As a result of the win for the icons, all members of the Cruistopia are up for possible eviction this week.

The housemates were nominated after an arena game challenge between two groups, the Icons and Cruistopia.

They were told to fill up their team’s cup with a spoon. The team that filled the cup on time emerged the winner.


Newcomer housemate, Elozonam, who won the veto power on Sunday was asked to save one housemate, he chose Venita and replaced her with Frodd from his team.

Big Brother Naija “BBNaija” controversial female housemates, Tacha during the live eviction show on Sunday revealed to Ebuka why she refused to accept Seyi’s proposal to share the head of house room with him.

According to Tacha, the love she has for her bed would never allow her to share any other bed in the house.

2019 BBNaija housemate, Enkay has been evicted from the Big Brother House. The former housemate was evicted during the Sunday live eviction.

Enkay alongside Joe, Cindy, Venita and Elo were among the five new housemates that were brought into the Big Brother house by Biggie.

The ‘Icon’ team of the ongoing 2019 Big Brother Naija “BBNaija” ‘Pepper Dem’ edition on Thursday won the week’s wager task after they defeated the “Cruisetopia”

The Icons teams members include Enkay, Frodd, Ike, Cindy, Elozonam, Khafi, Omashola, Sir Dee and Tacha while the Cruisetopia has: Jackye, Joe, Mercy, Mike, Seyi, Diane, Esther, Gedoni and Venita

Big Brother had requested that the housemates concocted creative arts in any structure to perform a talent show as part of the Wager task.

The housemates were not given props by Biggie for this undertaking dissimilar to other people, however, were told to utilize accessible materials in the house.

According to Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company (PHED) the blackout in Akwa Ibom yesterday the 14th of August 2019 was caused by Itam Youth Forum.

In a statement released by Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company (PHED) through her corporate communication manager, Mr John Onyi stated that some members of the Itam Youth Forum led by Obong Ubong Akpan came to its office at 4- Lane with a coffin and scared customers away.

“The action of the Youth has, therefore, led to the inability of the Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN, to wheel out power to Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company for onward distribution to its valued customers in thereby forcing the station to shut down supply forcefully,” he said

The Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company, PHED, wishes to draw the attention of Security Agencies, Government Functionaries, Electricity users and indeed members of the public that the entire Akwa Ibom darkness by the Itam Youth Forum.

The forced outage is sequel to the action of the Youth Development Forum under the leadership of Obong Ubong Akpan who early this morning barricaded Transmission Station, located at Itu near the state capital, thereby leading to operations blockade of the company.

In addition, the same group later moved to PHED office at 4- Lane with a coffin, a show of shame championed by its leader, dropped the said coffin at the entrance of the office, scared customers away,m state including the state capital has been thrown into unwarranted

The action of the Youth has therefore, led to inability of the Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN, to wheel out power to Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company for onward distribution to its valued customers in thereby forcing the station to shut down supply forcefully.

Akwa Ibom state. Also, the economic activities of the entire state have been brought to a halt as a result of the sacking of TCN’s officials on duty by the irate youth. The action of the youth may have been surreptitious by its leader, Ubong Akpan who has repeatedly demanded for a contract worth N6, 660,000.00 to carry out enumeration on behalf of PHED in his community, Itu, comprising 79 villages.

Of course the management did not succumb to his hate speech and blackmail, hence, he now organized and misled unsuspecting members of his group in order to achieve his self-aggrandizement which he purportedly hinged on poor supply to his community-Itu.

He also submitted a proposal to PHED for sensitization in his community amounting to N731, 200.00. which was declined for lack of merit since there is an- house department responsible for publicity. Severally, we have met and engaged the community on the value chain in the electricity industry which we exhaustively educated them on its relevance to the sector.

PHED cannot be intimidated or coerced into doing the biddings of “A self-acclaimed-messiah” as we have the mandate of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, NERC, to distribute power supply to our customers including Itu community in our franchise area.
We therefore, call on the relevant government functionaries especially the security agencies to step in and advise Ubong Akpan and his group to vacate the premises of the TCN and remove their coffin from PHED’s office in Uyo with a view to wheeling out supply to PHED
customers.

According to TheAfricaReport, Ivorian singer, Ange Didier Huon popularly known as DJ Arafat is dead.
Reports reaching us from Ivory coast have it that the singer was involved in a motorbike accident on Sunday, August 11, 2019, in Abidjan, the capital city of Ivory Coast.
He died from his injuries on Monday at the Polyclinique des Deux Plateaux in Abidjan.

According to reports, His motorcycle crashed into a car driven by a Radio Côte d’Ivoire journalist.

“He was admitted to the emergency room in a vegetative state. He had a skull fracture and oedema,” a doctor from the institution told Jeune Afrique on condition of anonymity.

He added that the medical teams tried to revive him, but “in vain”.

“I’m at the clinic where DJ Arafat was admitted. I can confirm that the artist has passed away. I am with Minister of State Hamed Bakayoko to organize with the family,” said Maurice Bandaman, Ivorian Minister of Culture and Francophonie.

The singer was born in 1986 in Yopougon, a town in western Abidjan, the artist liked to claim new nicknames from “Commander Zabra” to “Yorobo” – more recently, he even introduced himself as “Leader of People’s China”.

The Saturday Night Party in the Big Brother Naija House is constantly fun as the housemates get the chance to show to the viewers their dance moves and get their fans talking about it.

Yesterday’s party was very exciting as Mercy and Venita were caught on camera battling to be crowned the queen of the dance floor as the legendary DJ Neptune graced the wheels of steel.

DJ Neptune popularly known as Patrick Imohiosen, a powerful brand to reckon with in the entertainment industry, mixed various kinds of music- Afro-beats, Dancehall, Funky House Music and Hip Hop. His ability to thrill the audience was something people looked forward to at the party.


The Big Brother Naija stage was lit with Nigerian superstar, DJ Neptune, who brought down the house was queued up to unleash greatness at the Saturday Night Party. The housemates also showed us their dance steps, especially Mercy and Venita.

2019 Big Brother Naija "BBNaija" Pepper Dem housemate, Venita Akpofure, has finally opened up to Biggie on her difficulties in the house and how she feels threatened and intimidated by Tacha.

She said when she originally came into the house, she saw Tacha as a major test and risk and furthermore felt threatened by her on the grounds that Tacha never sits around idly in assaulting whoever wronged her.

According to the Delta state born housemates, when she first came into the BBNaija house she saw Tacha as a big challenge a threat and also felt intimidated by her on the grounds that Tacha never sits around idly in attacking whoever wronged her.


She furthermore added that Tacha is a mean, aggressive and rude person who never gives regard to anyone, no matter who you are and she didn’t like that about her.

Also, While a conversation with Seyi, The Warri-born housemate said:

“Tacha is bitter and rude she doesn’t really behave like a PH gal!

“She feels like everyone is against her and it’s only her against the world.

“I feel she needs more help and support in the house.”

This is not the first time a fellow housemate will be complaining about Tacha’s behaviour in the house.

The 2019 Big Brother Naija Pepper Dem show appears to be getting hotter by the day and the freshest increments to the house aren’t making it any quieter.

Many fans of the show including some housemates consider Tacha who is a popular Instagram influencer, to be rather arrogant and too proud and that has given her a tough time in the house, getting nominated every week for possible eviction.

Fortunately, she got a breather when Biggie added a new twist, the Nomination challenge.

During Tacha’s Diary Session with Biggie, She revealed to him how grateful she was for the new Nomination Process.

Talking about regretting anything she has done so far in the house and the fact that she was beginning to relate more with people than she thought she would from the start and she absolutely loves it.

She also spoke about the New task by Oppo to be presented on Thursday and how it has stressed her totally. She, however, was willing to put in her best for her team and hoped it would be good enough at the end.

She also told Biggie about her headaches and requested for painkillers to enable her to focus more on the task ahead.

It appears the little quarrel between Big Brother Naija housemates, Seyi and Tacha may have come to an end hey met up to settle their differences as they both seen locked up in a tight hug at the luxury Head of House (HOH) room.

The two housemates, Seyi, and Tacha who stayed in the Secret Room two weeks prior accomplished something other than mere bonding them, however a consecutive matching in a similar group for weekly tasks appeared to be something beyond incident as feelings and emotions combined with being kept in a space for what possibly 99 days for the two is beginning to grow.

BIG BROTHER NAIJA 2019 DIARY SESSIONS WOULD NOT BE COMPLETE WITHOUT OMASHOLA’S HILARIOUS SESSION WITH BIGGIE.
BBNaija fans on social media have declared the Warri-born housemates as their number winner when it comes to diary sessions with Big Brother.

During the diary session with Biggie yesterday, Omashola disclosed to Biggie that his number one problem is the facts that he talks too much. Omashola who tagged his experience in the house as “Puff Puff Puff” stated that his mother used to complain about his bad habit of always talking too much but he did not listen.

The 38-year-old model also told Biggie that he regrets talking too much as he now noticed the rest of the housemates are misunderstanding him a lot.

“Nobody intimidates me, I think Everybody gets their characteristics but dem no reach!… My problem is I talk too much even my mom warned me to watch my mouth” He said.

Omashola revealed he is happy about the OPPO task because it is channelling his modelling abilities and it will help his career.

It was all emotional in the Big Brother “BBNaija” house yesterday after Biggie gave the housemates an “Acts of kindness Task”. During task presentation, Omashola disclosed to Mercy that she was among the few housemates he threatens with.

He said: “‘You’re actually one of the few people wey dey make my heart cut’.

Omashola furthermore told her that he admires her a lot and he feels intimidated by her strength.

“Be who you are, your leg they always shake, if you come out, no babe for this house reach you, every time you come out all the guys for the house go they lick Dere lips they shout LAMBO LAMBO!! Bleep anybody’s Father”

The 38-year-old also revealed that even though he is not scared of anyone in the house, he still respects Mercy a lot. In Omashola’s words

“Mercy you are real. You don’t carry grudges. You carry yourself as the Lambo that you are.”

Omashola encouraged Mercy to continue to dance with anybody she wants during Saturday Party. He said “No mind Ike, no dey panic”.

It appears that the “Acts of kindness Task” Biggie gave to the BBNaija housemates is causing a few issues in the house. The Merike ‘deliver’ (referring to Mercy and Ike’s relationship) is unstable after Mercy showed her own kindness to another housemate.

Recall, On Tuesday, August 6, Big Brother gave the housemates a Task to do an act of kindness to another person for 10 minutes. Mercy chose to hug Joe as her own.

In spite of the fact that she made a point to put separation among them and wore a sweater so when he embraced her, he wouldn’t contact her back. Shockingly, it didn’t go down well with lover boy, Ike who didn’t hesitate to show it on his face.

Ike wasn’t angry with Mercy, rather with Joe for staring at him suspiciously while the hug was going on. When the task was done, Mercy went to Ike to tell him that Joe was holding her tight and pressing my @$$$.
