PoliticsRe: ECOWAS states will be at logger heads with BUHARI over ban on importation by iamord(m): 8:22am On Dec 06, 2016
Blue3k:
Hardly true Nigeria doesn't do that much business with ECOWAS that it should be doing. We only at 7% with them. I think other places like Ghana more popular among Ecowas as total share in trade but I have to look at stats again.

Correction nigeria highest share but Ghana and ivory coast are higher together. ECOWAS intra region trade is really low. Especially since we're supposed to be trade partners.
is it not a shame that despite the proximity we still do so little trade amongst ourselves. ?

With all this the president his doing Ghanaians atr asking for change

I think Nigerians should advice them about change

Less than a year of change we are in recession
we don't need anyone's advice to choose who we want as a leader

and you have no idea that Ghana's capital was Cape Coast before it was moved to Accra
its advisable that you stop trying to explain to a group morons... i mean what are you trying to explain,? a project was done for the benefit of Ghanaians... someone carried it on another countries forum and now people are helping Ghana take their own medicine..?? saying ghana is showing herself..?? so we developing to show off..??i mean?? if i should say i should start replying the stupid comments am seeing i will just waste my time .am bigger than that.. because at the end of the day ..above all the arguments.. development is happening all over and the insignificant comparison cannot affect it ..the major thing is the lives of citizens are being transformed for the better..whats my biz with all this crap talk that cant add value to life.

Small boy just shut up. Ghana is barely up to par with Nigeria: even South Africa is barely keeping up. Globally , Nigeria is a force to be reckoned with once you mention Africa.
ghana and south Africa are not up par with Nigeria, well congratulations!!! carry it over your head like a trophy.. maybe the gleaming trophy will outshine your economic problems.. instead of you to join hands and save your country from recession.. you are in a ditch and comparing yourself with someone on the surface.. sense is not common. you peeps clamor power and authority but dont understand what it takes to hold power and authority.. That brings respect!

Hardeysolution:
with your argument, you meant Ghana is doing fine better than Nigeria.. .okay. where were you when ecowas said Nigeria's problem will cost the entire west Africa? Do you know Nigeria is like USA to Africa?

I never would be surprised.. .things will be better for people like u to see
i think your problem here is English, or you can quote me where i said Ghana is better than nigeria or vice versa.. you see, a lot of you tend to deal with situations with the heart and not the head... giving rise to unnecessary emotions.. reading every message as someone trying to size you up.. whereas am talking from an analytical perspective.. i even feel both countries have over grown the baby pad age to be talking about who is better.. 2-3rd world countries? that lame and myopic.
'where were you when ecowas said Nigeria's problem will cost the entire west Africa? Do you know Nigeria is like USA to Africa?' Like how does that concern me? or do you see Nigeria problems as an achievement cos thats what ecowas is complaining about and you seem to take it as a bragging right.. "Do you know Nigeria is like USA to Africa?" If Nigeria were to really occupy the position its suppose to i dont think you will be asking med this question.. so you have your answer.

Hardeysolution:
are u aware that companies are coming to Nigeria as well. I never say people shouldn't complain.. ..of course someone must say something.. ... I will categorically tell you that my great Nigeria is better than Ghana.
well if that rocks your boat then so be it, i never made mention of Ghana being better than nigeria, i just painted a vivid picture of how Ghana is doing, in fact Ghana does not need to be as better as nigeria cos nigeria has never been a focal point to which Ghana looks up to, as long as there is peace and unity, the wealth is being created and shared appropriately, the people got the countries back..that what matters

PoliticsRe: Ghana or Nigeria? see a Ghanaian's reaction by iamord(m): 3:10pm On Nov 04, 2016
@OP lol...i think you need a bit of exposure, even USA that is developed is not without people complaining about a bad economy, having said that, there is a lot Ghanaian s need to be happy for, the country has made a dramatic return from recession.. reduced power outages to a minimal, and is poised to grow around 8% next year. there is a whole lot Ghana is getting right. thats why companies are moving there

lol..you see...its good to dream... however some dreams should be left in dream land... america being superpower today was not by wishful thinking but a calculated and coordinated plan to stay in power not for decades but centuries,we are yet to have matured democracy, our culture economy and defense is so porous.. let me not talk of technology! we should concentrate on fighting our enemies within.. thinking we are capable is too far fetched, a prank a witty boy in the school of life should not play.

Until you accept responsibility, your freedom is limited. Most of us are afraid of a life of responsibility and accountability, that's why we still take orders from people.

And many who have accepted responsibility are not disciplined enough to enter the realm of great wealth.

It is accepting responsibility coupled with a great deal of discipline that turns one's story around for the better.

ImoRiver:
Stupid Nigerian mentality. Government should ban importation of anything Erisco into the country. He's looking for foreign exchange to operate a local industry and we all know Nigeria is experiencing foreign exchange scarcity as a result of low oil output and prices. Business environment in Nigeria is harsh and requires total patriotism to resist temptation of going to already developed countries like China.

BusinessRe: Nigerian Banking Industry Seen in ‘Full-Blown’ Credit Crisis by iamord(m): 12:25pm On Oct 11, 2016
Nigeria’s banking industry is experiencing a “full-blown financial crisis” as failed fiscal and monetary policies lead to a credit crunch, according to Arqaam Capital.

You know, He who thinks he is standing take heed lest he fall, I remember three years back The Ghanaian economy suffered a similar issue, lots and lots were said on here without even gaining full understanding of the issue, Instead of a lot of Nigerians to learn and quickly put their house in order, A lot were happy to see their neighbors economy go down in order to make fun of them, using it as a yard stick to show how your window dressed economy is better.. Forgetting that the foundation has been weak and a greater storm is coming ahead.
