jayhans: Where are those dat say ghana has better tertiary institutions dan nigeria...... cos i can see only one gh uni up there
its a yearly ranking .. not a decade ranking. that means over the year they have not been in their top form. in previous years they made the cut. so there is always room for improvement. just like we can see can increase of Nigerian unis in the list. however the Ghanaian schools still remain a school of choice
TheOtherview: I know you do; which is why you are hardly likely to invent anything useful or even birth a philosophy others can write about. The ignoble and bone-idle would never allow sound reasoning to trounce paucity of thought - not while the latter provides limitless fulfillment
"Colonialism is not satisfied merely with holding a people in its grip and emptying the native’s brain of all form and content. By a kind of perverted logic, it turns to the past of the oppressed people, and distorts, disfigures, and destroys it." ~ Frantz Fanon
guy you are talking sense. frantz quote is like acgpspel speaking to a lot of people. sadly they prefer to listen to some charlatans that will ensure their brain chains are intact
thank you very much. its a pity that so many Africans are brainwashed. I can imagine how this charlatans will be laughing at them. cos the flocks are unconscious slaves. pat Robertson that is a Freemason.!! I don't even want to call names. blacks have confirmed the fact that the majority are intellectually inferior. smh . btw . I will watch that when am on pc
thinkdip: Senegal might not have the same love from God as we do...believe me God take more concern in Nigeria and he's always angry most time we divert. .
TheOtherview: Just like the seeds of Haiti's underdevelopment lies in the violent revolution which took place on the island, according to Pat Robertson? Isn't that the way the logic goes?
@OrlandoOwoh - Why do we continue to immolate ourselves culturally, by asking the most asinine of questions? I am a little surprised that you are one of those who appears to have fallen for this bait, to be honest.
may god punish pat Robertson for that rubbish statement he made.. If you understand the history of Haiti and all what haiti has been through .you will know that this charlatans use history occurrence to suite their grand scheme. while Haiti people fell for the baith that they are cursed. Cuba Russia and north Korea accused USA of testing a bio weapon. the irony. it pains me that a lot for black people don't use their brains properly.
just one festac 77 and people are complaining. from 1977 to date there have been millions of crusades.. and hundreds of churches opened. even the so called festac area has since had its own share of church building boom.. if the so called pastors are not being naive, promoting division, have no respect for religious tolerance and stupid. then I just don't know. its the foolish flock I pity for.

PAGAN9JA: Ms. Amaka with your level of advanced thinking y do u still bow to that dead jew? forget the b.astard son and worship Chukwu and the Alusi of your ancestors.
its choice. but the key thing is not to impose your dogma on another
the media industry needs to be scrutinized. .I have seen so much of poor reporting from semi baked reporters . and broke malnourished bloggers. just for traffic smh
JiggamanGh: You are right, most Ghanaians are very ignorant about the happenings in Nigeria. You would think since both countries are very close such perception would not exist but it does.
bro both parties are guilty... you know the average man does little reading and research. they just collect beer parlour news and run with it. ... and such people are in their flock on Nairaland . its the same thing too that some Nigerians say ...Ghana has had constant light. or in some parts of Ghana you can find gold on the floor, that all Ghanaians that came in the 70s where shoe shiners and bofrot hawkers.. or the Rawlings praise being sang day in day out. we need to understand that education does not always make one smart. i expect some literates with access to the web and print media to know better . sadly their thinking is no different from the village champion. this is where I fault both countries forms of learning and the kind of information being passed.
JiggamanGh: Most Ghanaians don't even know about the Ghana must go event, her not wanting her child to go Nigeria has nothing to do with Ghana must go, most Ghanaians believe Nigeria is a place of chaos and not safe. At least that's what I hear from other Ghanaians.
It has nothing to do with Ghana must go. I don't know your friend or her mum but I can guarantee she doesn't want her daughter in Nigeria because most Ghanaians have negative view of security in Nigeria.
am tired of repeating the bolded.. I remember years back in Ghana. a lady asked me that is it true that they behead people and use for rituals in Nigeria?. .I had to calm her down to the best of my knowledge. these are the kind of picture some of them have about Nigeria. I will tag it has insecurity. and who are the people spreading such. ?same ol Nigerians.. through nollywood and co
LadyAmaka: Thats how stupid and idiotic people can be and end up putting others in danger. How can a sane person go and steal such? How I wish it had roasted the people.directly involved alive.
am very cool with your comment. while am not downplaying the fact that there is a logical explanation to this. I am disappointed to see people attack the idol. is it right to take what does not belong to you?? if the people that indulged in such have respect for the land and people. will they ever venture to do such.? if its a "deadwood" then what does the white man want to do with it ?over confidence AnD brainwash has given a lot of people audacity and they have not atom of respect
They seriously need cleansing from Malokun spirit and other primitive traditions.
I'm proud to say that my people used to be here some years back but are no more there today cos we've been transformed out of darkness into his marvelous light.
Ondo is still in servitude to malokun and its likes. Oh God! Shine your light in ondo for the time to deliver her from the bondage of Malokun has come
you don't sound just in your words. when people enter the church of God and desecrate it.. what do you call that? when god brings judgement on the accused you know its the right thing.. now the same thing is done to the traditional god and you complain. is it right to steal something that does not belong to you.?
This Man was one of the fake prophets that prophecied GEJ would win.... Whatever he says should never be taken seriously @ all, He is Just a sapskull.. I Feel sorry for his so Called Followers
Now I dont blame ma aunt that never allowed anyone tune to his tv station in her house back thenn... #OnyeAmumaUgha
he is not a prophet. He is a sat guru. That title is from Eastern religions and esoteric groups. Found in Asia
lol. Or better still. Look straight at her legs with a serious face.. Eyes wide opened. I'll be like. Wow... Your legs! .. Her next reply will determine how I will burst her head . But am sure I will get her to sit properly
Litmus: You may well be right. It did not happen in my life time and i repeated what i learned.
Okay well we should be careful and filter the kind of info we get. There are different sides to the the story but one thing i know for sure is that Ghanaians did not kill Nigerians. It's just an Avenue to brush up sentiments
Equalizer: Read my lines again.. did I mention bleeping there? I only said enjoyment which could be in a form of parting or celebration with regards to the manna that fell from the sky..
haha. After the parting who will clear the *manner* from the streets?
We'll do well to make this our motto. It will make us our brothers keeper wherever in the world we go. In South Africa it will help us fight as a group for our rights and protect our business and our people. Ir does not mean we wont help others outside the group but that we'll be able to do so with a renewed purpose. We'll recognize that we have to value Nigeria in a way we've not before done. We'll build borders and people who mock us now we'll beg to come to our land.
We have a proud history in that not once in the entire history of Nigeria have we harmed one hair of one foreigner in Nigeria because they are a foreigner. In the Ghana people explosion, let no one lie to you we killed any. Some died i believe in the process of their journey back to Ghana- very unfortunate. The majority of Nigerians were outraged at the time and many Ghanians didn't leave they just stayed put in Nigeria and no one troubled them. When Nigerians were expelled from Ghana many Nigerian were killed by them. Anyway, Going around destroying South African business in Nigeria as some want will be childish, stupid and backward, we'd be only dehumanizing ourselves and environment. The way to fight back is build our economy so that the poorest people in Nigeria do not one day turn to animals like South Africans are doing now and which we are all condemning.

I hate it when peepz like u try to form innocent... There is no record whatsoever of Nigerians being killed by Ghanaians . Stop spreading lies
Equalizer: I wish such will happen in Nigeria... Girl rain.. imagine waking up in the morning to discover nothing less than 100 good, sexy looking girls lying unclad in your compound... O Bob! see enjoyment ooo..
shows that u can rape if given the chance to do so and go freely
pinkycute: According to BBC news.... Wonders of God!!... How will Science and evolutionists explain this ? A mystery, A phenomenon that only God understand...
******Just saw this on Twitter now*****
it's been explained. And happens. But to some particular geography. Hopefully it will rain money here soon. I don't need fish
pinkycute: Who said God is not great... A friend of my send this pic to me.. Fish raining in Thailand instead of rain First" I didn't believe her, until I Google it... It happen today and I was like wow!.. God really work in a mysterious ways... †††
Cc... Seun Lalasticlala
this is wonderful. I have watched about a similar occurrence on discovery. Over history it has rained cows.. Frogs.. Spiders.. Money gold. Jellyfish etc. The explanation has to do with some strong winds like tornado carry this animals off and throw them. Which makes look like it's raining animals
osystein: So sad how africans do these things to one another, simply shameful.
We just keep thwarting the short lived African success story. Seems the black race is still not matured and ready to move forward. Am very disappointed that it's this little things that we still take into consideration. We keep repeating history.
osystein: Will current xenophobia is SA, let us remember the other notorious xenophobic event of the past.
LOME, Togo, Feb. 1— Tens of thousands of hungry and impoverished people who have been expelled from Nigeria hurried today along the seaside road that leads to the frontier with ghana at the edge of this normally quiet West African capital. The refugees, expelled for economic and political reasons by Nigeria, passed through Lome in taxis, cattle trucks and on foot, most of them men in their 20's, many of them carrying a single suitcase as they walked along the Atlantic coastal road. Some two million unskilled foreign workers living illegally in Nigeria were ordered to start leaving by Monday. At least half of them were Ghanaians, and others were from Mali, Chad, Niger, Upper Volta, Benin and Togo. Under international and African pressure, President Shehu Shagari of Nigeria extended the expulsion deadline for skilled foreigners, mostly schoolteachers, until March 1. President Shagari announced the expulsions Jan. 17, saying the foreigners were the cause of economic problems and religious and racial unrest. 16 Reported to Have Died In Lagos, the Nigerian capital, at least 16 people were reported to have died as a result of the forced exit. Six people drowned in the Lagos harbor Monday night trying to climb aboard overcrowded ships leaving for Accra, ghana 's capital. Ten refugees were said to have starved to death. At the frontier, Togolese guards let the refugees pass by the thousands without a check. A hundred yards away, by a concrete arch with the words ''Welcome to ghana '' in large letters, Ghanaian border guards appeared to be making only cursory inspections of the refugees as they entered. As one truck carrying perhaps 50 refugees crossed the border, the Ghanaians cheered -but not loudly, more in relief than joy. A boy waved a small Ghanaian flag from the back of the truck. http://www.nytimes.com/1983/02/02/world/by-land-and-sea-they-stream-from-nigeria.htm
V0lv0: lol there is no such thing as free education to foreigners. [b] Foreigners are not allowed to study certain courses like medicine in SA, bursaries are mostly for the locals and no foreigner can get it.[b] Sometimes if the person is extremely intelligent then here and there he/she will be lucky. They pay about 2-3 times more tuition fees than the locals and it all must be paid upfront.
