Sanchez01: OP, just before you denote the passage you must understand that it sounds funny because you saw it as it is. The true meaning of Ezekiel 23:19 goes thus:

That you do not understand the Scripture does no mean that it is funny. The passage is clearly figurative. Invective is put to use there and it is not meant to be decoded if you hardly or do not study.
