My brothers and sisters, it is high time we differentiate between religion and christianity. I think you are talking from the angle of religion, how far has your religion taken you. Religion is where your fellow human being makes you to understand that as a man of God or pastor you can only get to heaven through him/her or his/her church. Like you rightly indicated, religion takes,promising prosperity at end. Christianity is doing the way Christ wants us to do according to the scriptures. In summary of this,Christianity is simply living a christ-like life. Remember God looks at the heart which is your character and attitude towards your fellow human being and not what you give as an offering or what you wear to church. Christianity gives as it is written in the bible 'Ask and it shall be given to you' and does not concentrate with what amount of offering you give. Do not judge for not be judged. I rest my case!
