My best friend is torn between the choice of accepting to marry a single dad. She is madly in love with him and he is also seriously in love with her. However, the guy's case has plenty 'comma'. 1)He has two kids from the same woman. 2)He was never married legally to the lady but he met the lady's parents and did traditional engagement (this happened when the lady was preggie with the first child) 3)He insists he does not love her and all she did was trap him with the kids. 4)He told my friend that he wants to bring the first child over to his house to stay with him when they get married. 5)His babymama has vowed not to let go and has threatened fire and brimstone when he told her that she should move on and stop waiting for him. 6)He bears all the financial responsibilities of the kids. 7)Babymama still gets to see him because he goes over to her place to see the kids and they all get to hang out together (he claims he wants to bond with the kids and babymama wont allow him to hang out alone with the kids unless she's there with them) I would appreciate your opinion/advice on this. My friend is 26 years old. Dude is in his mid 30s and they have been together for over 2years |
Why struggle with car theives? Silly thing to do if you ask me. @post My boyfriend and i were driving on Badagry-Mile 2 expressway late year and we were stuck in traffic only for us to be accosted by armed robbers. My boyfriend's reaction was so calm and matured. Infact, i was soooo impressed although at the time it happened, i almost fainted! The robbers tapped his window with a gun. My boyfriend rolled down the window, before the robbers could even disclose their intentions, he told the robbers to take things easy and calmly asked the robbers if they wanted the car that he would switch off the engine and give them the car keys. So robbers came in, ransacked his pockets, took his wallets and cell phones, ( them no even do like say i dey inside the car) and then told him to get out and take his iyawo along and he handed over the car keys to them. No struggles, no too much english and no rough handling! Car was later found though. Somewhere at Epe !!!! |

I don't know why there is so much hate for Banky W's ebute meta song. That song was a smash hit and it is loved by people of various ages. My parents are close to 60yrs and when the heard the ebute meta song on my car stero while driving them to a party, they loved the song especially the chorus. Of course they do not know anything about rhianna's umbrella but they really liked Banky W's song. Banky has got an excellent voice. My favourite track of his is 'my regret'. My mum also likes 'ati de' the song he did with adewale ayuba (she likes fuji). In my own opinion,i think banky has been able to steadingly warm his way into the hearts of nigerians in very little time and i give him kudos for that. ![]() |

chaplin:Are you now saying that they have started contacting those that wrote the test on 02/08/08? Please, can anyone else confirm this or deny this? Thanks. |
Hello Ladies. Please, i am urgently in need of the names/locations of shops in lagos state where i can purchase casual tops at affordable prices. I am in dire need of new clothes. Please, am refering to shops that sell trendy clothes with affordable price tags. Your prompt responses will be appreciated. Thank you. |
$$Rhino:Did you miss the part where i stated that the couple must have been using condoms? Did you care to read my previous post? Dont quote me out of context please. Or are you trying to say that all the girls you've sticked in your life time you conducted hiv test on them before the deed? |
@poster In respond to your question on the right TIMING, i think its best after you propose to her (before announcing the engagement formally). Let her know that the proposal is still subject to medical confirmation. You dont have to tell your girl its HIV test she should do- just take her along with you to the doctor and tell the doc to take samples and conduct full medical check on the both of you. I am assuming that prior to this, the couple have been using condoms. |
@topic The best time is when the couple are ready to have unprotected sex and the guy has serious plans of walking down the aisle soon. It is not only HIV that is important but a thorough medical check up including urine, blood, vaginal swab and excreta. So many men have partially dead infections in their system .eg. Syphillis, staph, etc that were not fully treated and could lead to problems in child bearing. Some ladies have stubborn yeast/toilet infections. So the tests are very necessary so that treatment can be administered in full by a competent doctor and then they can proceed to the altar. |
Did you guys select 'online test' has your preferred choice while filling the form? I chose lagos (not online test) and i did not get invited for the online test. Any hope for people like me? Is there going to be a written test? Lastly,in my own opinion,i feel online test are best done in a 'controlled environment'. It makes it fair to all candidates. The guiness online help desk should understand what i mean. |
@jalo Please help me. I also got a text from them but its incomplete. Mine ended with 'lagos by 10.30am. Please come with a passport photo , a valid id and this sms'. Please email me the other half of the text message that contains the venue . Thank you. God bless you. |
